"Very nice"
Room had some garbage tucked in corners that the maids missed ( bottle caps and the like) however that was the ONLY negative, nice bed, plenty of towels, big bathroom, great view, thin walls, but security was prompt.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Middle of the strip"
You can't beat the location of the Flamingo. We arrived late due to delayed flight and the line to check in was crazy. They only had 2 people at the main counter and it took forever. The printers didn't work and it was slow service. The room was clean and updated, but the bathroom could use some work. "Okay ... but won't stay here again"
First BIG issue was the drop off and pick up location for the airport shuttle bus. It was a lengthy walk with luggage and we were just lucky it wasn't raining because there was no shelter at the stop either. After dragging our luggage through a construction area and through the resort, up stairs because the escalator was not functioning, we were rewarded […] by standing in a check in line for over an hour and a half (yes, this is sarcasm)! And because we arrived prior to the check in time, after standing in line for an hour and half we had to check our bags and come back four hours later to get our room keys. Though this line was shorter, we still waited for at least 30 – 45 minutes. What really irritated me was that on both occasions in the check in line I notice staff standing behind other staff seeming to be doing nothing when there were open check in stations that could have been used to assist other guests arriving. Aside from these things, the rest of the stay was fine. The rooms have been remodeled as stated in other reviews, the view from our room was great, overlooking the pool area. I will however say that the food in the food court is overprices here. We chose to eat elsewhere, and Fremont street definitely has the best prices for food, and cheaper gaming tables. We used the check out option on the television to leave which saved us visiting the horrendous check in/out line again. We will not be staying here for our next trip … period! "Not what I thought it would be"
Flamingo was very short staffed, it took forever to check-in. Staff was friendly, but you could tell they worked at their own pace. The room may be at a decent price, but it was old and it felt dirty. In addition to the room rate, I was also charged a resort fee. "Best price on the strip"
Very good price for a hotel on the strip. Other than that, we were not very impressed. The person at check-in messed up and gave us a room with two beds for our honeymoon, which took almost an hour to fix. "BEWARE: They switch the pools."
We chose the Flamingo 100% based on its pools. We went to Vegas with kids because it was the closest place we could get to that was warm at Spring Break. We just wante to sit by the pool and telax in the sun. We chose the Flamingo because their pools were supposedly the best. Well, they switched the pools so that only over 21s could go in the good pools […] and kids were restricted to the little pool by the bar. Unacceptable. I paid for a deluxe go room, which made my price as high as the other hotels with good pools. I should have just gone to a different hotel. Also, we requested a crib at 6 pm. They delivered it at midnight. Knock on the door at midnight?! Even in Vegas that's absurd. The kids WERE asleep. If you want the typical Vegas experience, the Flamingo is fine. "Great View of the Strip"
The hotel room was fine, no complaints. There was no coffee conveniently located in the morning - my husband stood in line at the coffee shop for over 30". Would be wonderful if the hotel had coffee available somewhere for guests in the morning. We booked the Flamango with Hotels.com for a reasonable fee per night but almost double with the extra charges that we were not aware of such as Resort Fees and early check in fee plus tax. The hotel is centrally located, but thats about all. Parking is miles away from entrance. We arrived after a long ride at 2:00 pm. "Dirtiest place ever"
We were very dissatisfied with our stay. The rooms were filthy. Maid service just put our do not disturb sign in our door without us knowing so they never made up our rooms. "Hotel was good but beware of high tax and fees"
Booked 3 rooms for 2 nights on weekdays. Paying up front almost $300. When I got to the hotel to check in, they charged you Resort Fee per room per day, over $120, totaling $420 for 3 rooms for 2 nights, that's about $70/room per night. Initially was $34/night. I used the fast check-in machine, had option to upgrade for $33.50 more so I did and it turned out to be worst room, so dark and dusty, old. After all, they changed room to better view but still dirty like never been used. But I love the location and the view, they got the best view in Vegas. Not the best. The management was dismal, rude and unaccommodating. The room rate was good and the room was nice and clean. There was no fridge, this was disappointing. You pay an $18 a day resort fee but 3 of the pools with water-slides were closed because it was a weekday and not the weekend. My kids were really disappointed and so was I. The room was nice and clean. I loved my view of the strip. The pool was great, the bathroom was a little too small, but everything else was fine. On our last day staying there, me and my friends were woken up around 8 am by a slamming of our wall. I had stayed at the Flamingo in the past with a good experience . I didn't have a good stay this time and would never stay at the resort again. The service was lacking almost seemed that the resort was understaff in every devision of the resort. It took me 45 minutes to get my car out of valet on a Wednesday . The check in was understaffed . I waited […] an hour in line to check in . The maid was unable to clean the room because she mentioned her manager required her to clean the rooms where the guests have checked out first.
