As soon as you arrive, you'll want to explore The Flamingo's famous 15-acre water playground, where a series of pools, connected via lagoons, surrounds a huge waterfall and a seasonal waterslide. Stroll through the west side of the tropical retreat to find the wildlife habitat, home to swans, koi, turtles, and--of course--a flock of Chilean flamingos.
The festive, Caribbean-style casino may eventually lure you indoors with table games from craps to blackjack, more than 1,600 slot machines (including popular 2-cent progressives), and a race and sports book. The sizable Spa at Flamingo is tempting, too; offerings include separate men's and women's areas, eucalyptus steam rooms, and a fitness center.
When evening falls, the Flamingo's headliner-packed entertainment schedule heats up. Catch Donny & Marie Osmond, comedians George Wallace and Vinnie Favorito, burlesque and magic shows, and more. And you have numerous great dinner options before the show, including show cooking at Hamada of Japan, and gourmet takes on an American classic at Burger Joint. If you need to wet your whistle, stop by Jimmy Buffett’s multilevel Margaritaville, or grab a microbrew at the Sin City Brewing Company. Room service is available 24 hours a day.
To keep up with the Vegas excitement, you’ll need your rest. Flamingo guestrooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, some with amazing views of The Strip. You can connect with friends via wireless Internet access (surcharge), or unwind with premium cable channels and pay movies; video games are also available for a surcharge. Accessible rooms are available.
Our room was super cute interior decoration. Only complaint was shower, the part you lift to get spray on top was still spraying below for bathtub portion so you didnt get full effect. Other than that was nice. Loved using my rewards card for speedy check in/outGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not worth the trip"
Hotel is under construction -- never told this. In fact, the shuttle from the hotel drops you off 1/2 mile away and you walk. Wanted a non-smoking room, which it was -- person next door smoked and it came thru connecting door and vents. Everything was an "extra charge" so be wary of the price. Only the air conditioning worked -- in fact, couldn't even […] shut it off. No heat, button was broke. Had to call 3 times for a blanket. Advertised shows had been cancelled, but were still being advertised??? That makes sense. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
we had a great view from our room. the room was quite big.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The bathrooms were small. I know that there is an upgrade option, but the door just barely misses the toilet. Also, you could hear whenever someone in nearby rooms turn on the water. Also, it would be nice to know the schedule when the construction crew closed the access way from Bally's to Flamingo. I had to cross the street three times and walk to […] the far end of Caesars to get back to Flamingo. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"upgrade if possible"
Our first room was really not that nice. We upgraded to a beautiful, modern rooms and LOVED IT! It was so much better I kick myself for not going for the $30 upgrade. We even had a TV in our bathroom mirror. Very cool!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"good stay for the most part"
I think that my stay at the Flamingo was a good experience overall. The Staff was extra helpful and friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and there was a variety of places and stores in the hotel. I wish they had coffee pots in the rooms. Also I would not recommend doing the "breakfast service" that was offered to us. I don't feel like it was worth […] it. There was not much variety and the prices of the items you could choose from for the $9 allowance made it a bad deal. We were told this not our hotel's meal offer, but I still didn't feel like it was a good deal. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Accommodations at a Fantastic Price"
I had a great stay at the Flamingo Hotel. I was in town for a conference, so I enjoyed being centrally located on the Strip. (I was a little nervous based on other reviews, but I found everything to be very nice.) I selected a Go room and was given a room on an upper floor with a great view of the Bellagio Fountains and mini-Eiffel Tower. The bathroom […] was very clean...and even included a tv built into the bathroom mirror. The staff was very helpful. (Sometimes there was a long line, but I made sure to avoid busy times.) Overall, I would recommend the Flamingo for people looking for a nice and affordable place to stay on the Strip. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"poorly maintained hotel"
Room is very old. Ventilation screen is completely covered w dirt and mold. Carpet on hallway is dirt and torn. You can hear and smell your next door neighborhood. I will not go back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
To much pressure from the timeshare people. We were on vacation, the last thing we wanted was pressure on how bad hotels were! Total lack of respect for the team from flamingo shown by the timeshare people.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is the most horrible hotel experience I have ever had. The people are rotten, windows filthy, smells like cigarettes. Buyer beware- the rate you pay here will not be your end bill. Be prepared to pay an additional $30 per night for mandatory resort fees for services that don't exist. Stay anywhere but here, they certainly don't value your business, […] not even the management would apologize for my experience. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

we upgraded to a similar 2 queen-size beds type room in the spa tower. the room was spacious, clean and the beds were very soft and comfortable. the room smelled good/clean, without being perfumey. we had a separate shower and bathtub which was a nice change of pace. the tv in the bathroom and the special low pink light made for nice relaxing soaks […] and no missing of favorite shows after walking all day. it was a great experience with good service - i wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future. Fantastic Location. Will be back againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was clean. Staff was helpful. Had a newly renovated "FAB" room that looked and felt great. The rooms very modern. Seems like they are investing a lot of money on the Flamingo and it's neighboring property the Quad (formerly known as the Imperial Palace, whose hotel is currently a dump.) The huge ferris wheel behind the hotel looks awesome, […] can't wait for it to open. Would have gave it 5/5 but cleaning staff were knocking at my door at 930am which is too early in my opinion, or else I would have used the do not disturb sign if I knew they would come at that time. "This place is not that great"
I have stayed in a few places in Las Vegas for some business trips, and this was probably the worst I have stayed in. The room was no smoking and it smelled like smoke. There is no carpet just linoleum floors that look like hard wood. The room was not very clean. I had to clean our bathroom because it looked like no one had cleaned the toilet or sink […] and shower. "Overall a Good Value - Som"
I have stayed at the Flamingo many times but not in the last 5 years or so. It is no longer a Hilton property and I had seen some negative reviews but you just can't beat the location in Center Strip so I decided to book. Also, the monorail has a stop at the hotel and since I was at the LV Convention Center all week that was very convenient. Overall […] the stay was what I expected and with the help of reading some reviews was able to do some downfield blocking to improve my stay. Upon arrival the desk clerk was very helpful and honest ans said the Fab room I reserved was remodeled except for the bathroom. That's exactly what I got and what I read on some reviews. My room was overlooking the strip and Caesars Palace. The bathroom was not bad. I recommend the early check-in for $30 because you will have a better choice of room and not next to the construction of the new hotel next door. The $20 per day resort fee is lame but those things are getting harder to get around these days at a lot of hotels. Would Stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't think I will stay at Flamingo again"
On a positive side: the room was clean and the location is good. However: the room lock stopped working several times during our 3 night stay. The issue seems to be common as there is a dedicated "keys and mail" line in the lobby. Believe me this is not fun to go downstairs to reactivate your key few times a day. Most of the staff is borderline rude. […] Noise from a corridor and other rooms was coming loud to our room. The WiFi did not work right away. To sum our stay – I have never had so many issues in a single stay. Hope it helps! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel offered no perks-no breakfast, no coffee maker, no blankets on the beds-only sheets. For how much I paid, I was REALLY disappointed. I have stayed in Vegas for much cheaper and gotten much more. The staff was less than helpful. The concierge only suggested things in that hotel and seemed to know very little about the surrounding area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The flamingo hotel"
We stayed at this hotel 8 years ago and really enjoyed it. Now it is now longer owned by the Hilton and it has become cheap and tacky. The room was noisy. There was no quilt on the bed, and we had to beg for a quilt. THERE WAS NO CARPET, the heat didn't work and the room was very cold...62 degrees! Usually I stay at Bally's however, due to a last minute booking for SEMA most hotels were not available. Usually my vegas stays are free, this time, not only was I going to have to pay but the rates were astronomical or completely unavailable. I'm glad I looked around instead of going direct. Hotels.com was significantly cheaper then my card rate on […] all accounts for Vegas. I hadn't even considered staying at Flamingo previously due to some negative reviews in the past.I knew they had done renovations from my trip in July, however, I had no idea the rooms were done. Overall the rooms were very nice, faux wood floors, floor to...almost ceiling windows, comfortable beds. Certain parts of it didn't seem finished, there were a few outlet plates missing and the bathroom was the same all but a new counter, this was definitely not a deal breaker at all. However with how well the did on the rooms it seems they just ran out of money almost. I don't expect Wynn style bathrooms, or even Caesers however whats there is only a small step up from Imperial Palace. It was ok for the price and realistically you spend maybe 2% of your vegas vacation in your bathroom unless you went out a bit too hard the night before. It was one of the nicer views I had gotten in vegas. The "wood" floors instead of carpet gave a MUCH MUCH cleaner feeling over all then some other casino hotels (vegas and other wise). I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again next year :) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Classic resort in the middle of the strip"
Globally clean, comfortable. We found 1 cockroach. Some work next to the building all night long was preventing some of my friends to properly sleep. We got a really nice deal via Hotels.com. We also took an upgrade to a better/newer room for a small fee at check-in. "Nice older hotel in Las Vegas"
Nice older hotel in Las Vegas. Iconic. Currently rooms are being renovated. We had a classic room. Classic rooms are clean, but dated. The hotel room and most services were great. Our hotel room was spotless and we had plenty of towels. Bed was very comfortable. "Going downhill fast!"
We have stayed at the Flamingo for about 5 years. It's never been fancy but it's inexpensive and in a good central location on the strip and on the monorail. This time was my last time there, however. The hotel smells bad, everything looks dirty and worn, and they don't seem to care. The plumbing in my first room was slow, if I brushed my teeth, the […] sink took 30 minutes to drain. My next room wasn't much better. The grab bar in the shower was pulled out of the wall and nobody bothers to fix it? Just leave it dangling with Sheetrock and screws hanging off? We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was lovely. Good views of the Bellagio fountains; however, the construction from the neighboring hotel was a bit annoying. Inexpensive fun in Vegas with everything within a few minutes from the front door. I will admit the construction that was taking place close by was something of a distraction but I still had a great time in a very nice hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel staff were not very friendly and not very helpful. Rooms were nice. Location was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was comfortable and in a good location. The elevators and the carpeting in the hallway, left a lot to be desired about cleanliness. "Good location on the strip"
We have stayed at the Flamingo many times. This time we arrived much earlier than the check-in time and had to settle for a room with 2 queens and not the king that we had requested. "Great location, Mediocre rooms"
Pros: the surrounding area is great & it's a decent walking distance from some of the fun hotels like Paris, Ceasar's Palace, the Bellagio, etc. & the prices are reasonable compared to other hotels on the strip. Cons: the parking entrance was incredibly hard to find, they charged me an extra $80 for some kind of hotel fee, They advertised "free breakfast" […] but wanted to hold $100/each night of my stay. For 4 nights they wanted to hold $400 on my debit card for 10 days...No thank you. The pool/spa closes at 5pm (in oct.) Nothing special about the food or amenities they give you. Bottom line: are you going to have much nicer rooms with better amenities in the flashier hotels? Yes. But if you're young, on a budget, and don't plan on staying in the room, then the Flamingo might be one of the better locations for your dollar. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
