Nice getaway. Not on the strip, but 15 minutes strolling distance. Village offers nice shopping. Enjoyed the complimentary DVD rentals.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall it was very nice and relaxing. We liked the convenience of using the pools and the beach. There was too much construction noise however.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We really enjoyed our stay in the Rainbow Tower at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort We will stay again soon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"World Class Location"
Absolutely the best. Perfect location. Had an ocean view from Tapa Tower overlooking Waikiki Beach and a park with gorgeous palm trees. Lovely shops and eating places around the hotel and pools and spas. Just heavenly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"One of our best times in Waikiki!"
We had one of the best times ever at the Hilton Hawaiian Village... The staff were very courteous, with smiles and a genuine pleasantness that didn't seem forced. We were informed about what was happening in the area that weekend. We were all also upgraded to a conveniently located (for us) ocean view room for a small fee. The hotel has various restaurants, […] a plethora of shops, and even its own ABC store to cater for just about any need imaginable. The lagoon was fun for paddle boarding; rentals were easily accessible on site. The room was modern and the pillows very cushy. Room service for dinner was fast, delicious and plentiful. Valet service was timely and pleasant. A very serene atmosphere. Highly recommend! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good getaway for family with small kids"
good getaway with plenty restaurant choices in the neighborhood, pricey though. loved the paradise pool.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stayed here the night before we left for a cruise. Walking distance to downtown area and restaurants. Lots of entertainment and beautiful grounds.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was excellent! Hotels.com got me a great value. Hilton Hawaiian Village was an ideal choice. The customer service was superb. I hope to stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hilton pools cold"
More than one swimming pool should be heated. The other pools were so cold that it was unpleasant to be in them.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Dated Village with bad food."
The stay was marked by the hotel losing water to our tower for one day. While they gave us a day advance notice, they made no concessions or accommodations for the lack of water. I was extremely disappointed by the management's response to our complaint. Hotel is a huge complex with multiple towers with many shops and restaurants. Unfortunately many […] of the restaurants were plain aweful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"On the beach"
Beautiful on-the-beach hotel. Disappointed that resort fee of $30 per night was charged when other hotels on the same strip didn't charge anything and were also on the beach. No room service was a disappointment but plenty of restaurants were around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"No more Hiltons"
We have traveled all over the world and have stayed at 5 star down to other star level hotels. I am particular about my room, eating and amenities when my kids are with me. The Hilton looks great online but the room has a sliding bathroom door no lock with a lighter color screen no privacy, the air vent in the room was filthy and covered with lint. […] The bathroom sink drain plug would not pull all the way up because the mirror was set on the wall to low. I tried to pull open the makeup mirror and it started to fall out of the wall. This was in the rainbow tower. The Hotel pools are not heated and chilly, the ocean was warmer. My boys could not play catch in the pool with a ball the lifeguard told them to stop. This is why we stay at family places so the kids can enjoy. The food at the hotel was terrible at the Pronto Pickle on the timeshare side were they offer a happy hour. The Mai Tai's are out of a slurpie machine the nachos looked like they were from 7 eleven and my son's cheeseburger tasted very odd. The other Pronto Pickle was just ok and the other restaurant was good service but nothing exciting. The beach there is more rocky and very windy compared to the area closer to Waikiki by the Royal Hawaiian which we love. It is expected to have high prices there but the quality must follow and that is not the case at the Hilton Hawaiian village or the Hilton on the big Island I finally have learned no more Hiltons. We had a wonderful time! There is so much to do at the village but missed out on the Luau, need to get tickets way in advance. Tons of shopping in the village also. Great food and the most pleasant staff throughout the village. The Atlantis submarine was a big highlight! The only negative was our bathroom fixtures weren't in good condition and hair […] from others on the floor and in the tub. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I really enjoy this hotel. The location is great, easy access to the beach and food. Parking is easy. The only down side was that they surprised me with a resort fee when checking in. I wish this was all included when booking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Fabulous place to stay in Waikiki!"
The hotel grounds and amenities are amazing. The food at the restaurants and grab-and-go stations is pricey.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Picture perfect vacation!"
Our Dream holiday with the family had a picture perfect finish! Thanks to Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, our vacation in Hawaii ended on a grand finale! Amazing location, beautiful ambience and facilities, we were extremely happy to get a sea view room on the 22nd floor in the Rainbow Tower. Staff at the check-in counter was very courteous, […] efficient and friendly. Would recommend this anytime and would love to visit again when possible! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We arrived at Hotel and were told we had to wait for our room to be cleaned, this was at 2:30PM, we check in and then waited in Lobby for over an hour like we were told. No Chairs to sit in, very uncomfortable. When we went back to desk we had recheck in which took 15 min. this after we did it all before. We got our room. Room was small but nice, but […] we had not so good view, the roof of restaurant was a good view. Every thing on property is over priced, beach was okay, over all over priced but nice for our first time to Hawaii. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Everything you need in place"
The place looks newly renovated with a completely open air lobby. Village definitely describes this place as it has a shopping center and multiple hotel high rises with different types of pools (including one with water slides and another enormous lagoon) nestled in front of the beach. Great family vacation spot. Parking fee was $27 a day but well worth […] it if you wanted to go in and out to sight see around town. Traffic can be very hectic but made the most out of it by people watching and looking at the unique buildings. Make sure to make lunch or dinner reservations in advanced as restaurants tend to have long waits due to the significantly larger concentration of tourist in the area. Plenty of ABC (convenience stores) in the area where they have decent prices for food, gifts, and other products. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice Resort, close to the beach"
The Hilton Hawaiian Village is a large resort, with lots of shops and restaurants. Good for families. Somewhat expensive at times (my wife and I were offered a $50 daily buffet breakfast "deal," which we declined). Maid service was great, never an issue with too few towels etc. Be careful when booking an ocean view vs an ocean front room. Overall we […] enjoyed our stay and would recommend this resort. "big resort, a lot of fun. everything you need"
best hotel I've stayed in my life. watch luau show there, has on site parking. many diners and bars. pretty much everything you need to live and have fun and there. hard to leave. also pricy, but totally worth it. since you are on vacation in Hawaii, might as well go big and get the best experience.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Excellent Waikiki Experience"
Very highly recommended for couples or families. It really is a small village and had everything right there. The beach is fantastic and multiple pools incl one for kids. My husband and I spent a week at Hilton Hawaiian Village for our 25th anniversary. We loved the hotel, beach and housekeeping staff. We had a relaxing time and would probably go back. The only reservation we have is that every time we went to talk to the clerks, concierge, guest services or even the waiters, the conversation always went to them trying […] to get us to go to some sort of timeshare/membership presentation. Very annoying and made me not want to approach the staff even to schedule a luau or excursion. I ended up scheduling these online instead of using the pushy staff. Amazing service and view. Top notch facilities. Friday night fireworks were off the charts. I loved the shopping in the village as wellGenuine Expedia guest review
Nice clean hotel but the recent additions of towers and shops took away the beautiful and lush grounds that hawaii and Hilton Hawaiian Village was known for. Now its just another hotel in Waikiki and not a destination resort.Genuine Expedia guest review
We totally enjoyed our too brief stay at the Hilton Hawaiian prior to boarding the ship. Would recommend it to all.Genuine Expedia guest review
Beautiful resort right on the beach. Had a wonderful week.Genuine Expedia guest review
Had and amazing stay. Friendly staff. Great ocean view from our room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Booked an ocean side room and was given a room with a view of the harbor. No possible way to see ocean. Got lied to by front desk and after 15min found out they had sold out of our room.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice location on the beach."
Stayed in the Tapa Tower. It is a little dated. Reminded me of a college dorm. Nothing fancy. I had not much intention to stay in the room so it worked. Parking garage card reader did not work when I left, thus cars lined up behind me as I waited for attendent to let me out.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hidden Servic Chareg"
The only issue I have is that they charged me a service charge of $31 per room which I did not expect. They blamed it on Hotels.com for not letting me know of it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Get your Hawaii on here !!"
The Hilton Hawaiian Village is a classic place to stay in Waikiki, this was our second stay, both 3 days each in the past 9 months. With all the pools and incredible lagoon, great location, tons of shops and restaurants within a mile why stay anywhere else ? Kid friendly. Activity desk will give you the Hawaiian vacation you want.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We went here for our honeymoon for a weeks. We had a great time.Genuine Expedia guest review
Awesome location with alot of shops around. Great Bell service since i had a lot of bags and the property is pretty large, took me right to my tower. One maintenance thing i forgot to write up was that the toilet leaks and refills every hour or so.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Only there for one night but really enjoyed the stayGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Beautiful and kid friendly!!"
My entire family and I (7 rooms for 25 people, including children) stayed there for three days and two nights. My children had a great time! There are several pools available. "Construction Notice !!"
Didn't realize there was a significant amount of Construction just outside our room ( Tappa tower) .. very noisy .. I asked for a change and was offered one for $50.00 night upcharge .. also you pay a restor fee on top of the Hotels.com priceGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great resort for families with children"
Traveled with my husband and 2 children, ages 3 and 7. We stayed in the Kalia Tower, ocean view room on 19th floor. The view was great, we could see the resort as well as the beach/ocean. The actual resort grounds were nice, very good well kept. Pools were perfect for kids, especially the Paradise Pool. Resort has everything you can think of or need. […] Lots of food choices, a little pricey but expected. We did walk across the street to Waimanalo Coffee House for breakfast as recommended by a local-good and cheap. You do not have to leave resort if you do not want to, although I would highly recommend exploring other sides of the island. I would definetly recommend staying here. "Hilton Village - Great for 1st Timers"
This was my first time to Hawaii. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and wanted the resort experience. The staff is so amazing, helpful and kind (my husband lost his wallet and they helped hi through the process). Even the staff at the restaurants and towel stands were awesome. They carried our rented chairs to the beach for us and made fun chit […] chat. The only reason I am not giving the full stars is due to the small ants in our room, but I get it we are on the beach and in a resort. But the other part is due to the checkin - we paid for a king bed but received an "upgrade" to a suite which was big and comfy with great views BUT had two full beds. Other than that we had an amazing experience. Everything you need is on the resort and when we wanted to get off the resort and explore a car rental was a stroll away and we received the best advice on how and what to see. Great place for people with young kids.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The resort itself is beautiful, and the beach amazing! The location is pretty good, with shopping close by. We stayed at the Ali'i which is meant to have the best rooms in comparison to the others. To our surprise the room was very basic, and had a very small balcony. The room was clean however, and the beds comfortable. The service was below average […] - the staff at the front desk do not greet you as you walk in or out, and only really interact with you when you check in or out. Overall it was a good stay, although I probably wont come here again due to the service. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
