"Excellent location to downtown sites"
Overall, our stay was nice. It was great to be in the middle of downtaown where we could walk to the aquarium. However, the lack of complimentary internet was an issue; I would expect this in a downtown Hilton location. $32.00/day valet for the car is a bit pricey; self-parking was expensive, too.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Stay in Atlanta!"
This hotel is in a great location, and it is HUGE and beautiful! We had a great time. I will definitely be back to this hotel hopefully to stay the night, but DEFINITELY to go back to Trader Vic's downstairs. The Hilton was priced well for its location and quality. The room was nice and well kept and the bed was quite comfortable. The heat/ac was hit or miss and several times just turned itself off for no apparent reason, but the temp was good enough and we were not in the room enough for it to bother us much. "My birthday weekend..."
My dad got me a room for the weekend because it was my birthday... I enjoyed myself the hotel staff was accomodating. I would have liked for a microwave to have been in the room. "Horrible Stay ...Not What I Expected..."
From the time me and wife drove up the customer service was terrible!!! First they stated there was not any valet parking available for a hotel of this magnitude. This was completely unacceptable we had to argue to get someone to listen and they finally accomodated us. I will not be returning to this hotel. I will continue to stay at the Omni Hotel. Pros: Convenience right off the highway was great and check-in was easy. Our room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Cons: This hotel is NOT pet friendly (as it stats) and pricing has lots of hidden fees. There is a significant pet fee (be sure to ask when booking, I did not and was surprised and upset) and there is no where to take your pet […] out to their business w/o letting them go on the hotel grounds/flowers, which I don't normally let happen. "Just Ok"
This is just an average Hilton but the location than makes up for things the hotel lacks. Our bathtub kept retaining water during showers. The hotel was quick in response but it took 3 calls to the problem resolved. The bathrooms were a bit small and fixtures were outdated. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hilton. Everything was clean and neat. The people were friendly and helpful. Guest services was a little slow but it was a busy Saturday night; not too bad for a big hotel in downtown Atlanta. "Easy access to all the tourist spots"
We stayed for 5 nights, and walked or took the subway almost everywhere we went. The only time we took the car out was when we went to the zoo because that was a 45 minute bus ride after the subway ride. The room we were given had a Murphy bed--not very comfortable--and the air was broken. We reported the problem to the concierge and he said he'd send […] someone up straightaway, but no one ever came, so the room stayed at an uncomfortable 82 degrees all five nights. This was possibly the best hotel that I've stayed at in my life! There was a rooftop tennis court/Basketball court/Track. The room was spectacular and so clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. Front desk staff was not very courteous. Maybe it was due to the late hour but the lady was not really helpful. Parking was terrible. Locals parked there to go clubbing. Room was nice and bed was confortable. They have a section to allow you room to work but power plugs were not very funtional on the lamps. Worked fine if plugged into the wall. Internet had a charge per day and parking is in the low twenties per day. You can come and go from parking lot with no addtional charge. Parking garage next door is 2/3rds the […] price per day. Breakfast was pricey. They said they sometimes have a buffet but didn't have it during my stay and breakfast for two ended up being in the mid forties with no drinks. I didn't notice any cafes nearby other than the lobby cafe. Phillips Arena, CNN, and the convention center are a one mile walk or a five minute drive.
