Hilton almost always has the best and cleanest beds. The only exception is the Hilton at DIA (Denver). Although the hotel at LAX is getting older, it's quality choices in furniture and construction have guaranteed it a long, comfortable, and useful life. Eric H. Analyst Architect Project Manager

The hotel is conveniently located and comfortable. The rooms are nice and clean. Parking is high and the registration staff that I dealt with bordered on being nasty when she found out that my reservation was a Hotel.com prepaid room.

OK, so I rated everything a 3 and then gave an overall rating of 2. How does that make sense? Because airport hotels are invariably ok, but disappointing in that no one seems to have found a formula for making the airport stay a memorable experience. Nothing stood out about the Hilton, except my opinion of the person who should have opened the newsstand at 6 and who had still not arrived at 6:10. Seriously? You have one thing to do and you can't do it? The nice man behind the front desk, recognizing my frustration, sent me up to the concierge floor to retrieve a free New York Times. A nice gesture, but ... During the wait for the elevator in the lobby, during the ride up to whatever floor that was, during the walk down the endless and dreary corridor to the concierge floor breakfast area and then the wait for and ride down in the elevator back to the lobby, I could only shake my head. What a waste of time - my time - and what a pathetic waste of hotel talent. Someone somewhere please figure out how to make the airport hotel stay something more than a test of endurance. $25 for overnight parking. If you want to catch a flight on time, it's a good choice for a business selection. And the breakfast are free for two person. The desk person is welcome. In a word, Good hotel only suitable for business travel or wanna catch a flight.

The staff did not restore our room correctly 4 out the 6 days we stayed there. We did not have coffee one day; no bath mat another. My biggest disappointment was the airport's closeness to the hotel. I asked to be on the quiet side of the hotel. I did not end up there. The hotel is T-shaped. 1/2 of the hotel is facing the airport's runway where planes […] take off. Parking was a hassle as you had to go through the hotel to get into the underground parking. I thought the $25 per day parking fee was excessive. Best I could tell this Hilton did not follow ecologically recognized practices like changing bed sheets every 3 days and towel replacement if found on floor. Read more

hotel van did not pick us at the airport. had to call 2 times before they picked us up. FTYI sheraton van drove by 3 or 4 times, so next time will stay there. This was very frustrating at midnight after traveling for 14 hours and from a east coast time zone so was really 2AM . took one hour to get to hotel. tried to get a cab and they required $30 minimum […] fare to get to hilton which was less than 2 miles from airport. the main reason I stayed there. We checked into this hotel on a December day, and the room was freezing cold. We were with our 3 months old baby, and requested the front desk to fix the heater... it took more than an hour in a 52 degrees room for them to figure out that they cannot fix the heater. This is a convenient hotel if you have a need for an overnight near the LAX airport. It's just minutes by their free shuttle from LAX, and the shuttle runs every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. Being that close to the airport, some better sound insulation would be helpful. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Restaurant selections are limited -- 3 snack […] and/or bar options and 1 way overpriced dining room. $15 burgers ($18 with cheese and bacon) are unimpressive. Worst feature: trying to charge for WiFi. (It's free for Gold and Platinum HHonors members, but not for regular HHonors members or the general public; however, when I complained about this, they gave me a code, but why did they have to aggravate me first?) If you book through hotels.com, you will not get HHonors points for the stay (another aggravation). There is nothing of interest within walking distance. Otherwise, it's a great option. Read more

The hotel was beautiful but my family & I didn't get a good night sleep especially since we had to get up super early to catch a flight. Sometime before 11pm on 11/24/12 there was a couple having a screaming match directly outside the shared patio. I had to call the front desk twice, they told me security was going to handle it then when I called again […] I was told the cops were on the way to handle the situation. What upset me the most was that I had a child whose bedtime was being interrupted. About 5years ago I had a similar disastrous night stay at the Hilton San Francisco where my husband & I woke up to early morning pounding noise that disrupted our sleep. We were told at the time they were remodeling, they told us they were sorry and promised us a free night which was a lie as they never came through with their promise. Nice hotel with reliably clean and modern rooms. Good location for doing business around LA. Parking is plentiful but it helps not to be claustrophobic. The garage goes down pretty deep under the building and it has fairly low ceilings.

The Hilton hotel was very nice. I was really impress, and the staff is very wonderful. The only reason why I'm giving this review a 4 is because of the parking prices. I was so shock to hear about a $25 parking fee each day at the Hilton. I knew the price I paid was to good to be true. I paid an extra $125.00 just for parking, and the room comes with […] no microwave or refrigerator. The hotel is near everything, and I would suggest parking at the airport parking right next door for $12.95 a day. I was please at the end of the day, but next time I will park some where else. Great hotel for an overnight in Los Angeles. Not a destination hotel as there is nothing around the area other than airport related businesses. If all you need is a bed, for the night - excellent choice. Trolley available for $5 pp (via valet parking desk in front) to Beach and shopping centres on hourly timetable if looking for something to do.

Very beautiful Hotel. Would stay there again. The only issue was the parking. We had a 12 pass. van and the hotel could not accommodate our vehicle. We had to use a paid garage which we had to go to 3 different one because the others were full. All in All, a good hotel.

Fancy close to LAX Hotel that has obviously gone thru a remodel recently. Up to date, "new" looking with current furnishings. Bed was great for me, with very good pillows. Park and ride to LAX, or just spend the night on the way to somewhere else. For the price, this was great value! Highly recommend.
