"As cose to Hobby Airport as you can get"
It was OK. The large pot of coffee could use a lot more coffee in for the PRICE. Rooms were alright nothing spectacular, same as any of the other three or four hotels in the immediate area Stayed at all of them over a 2 week periodGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Covnenient and Clean"

"Stay after cruise before returning home"
We loved the hotel and Jeremy was a wonderful help to us!! Too bad he Is leaving this month. We did not get to stay all night due to an emergency at home.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"very good location"
Great! Everyone was very friendly. The rooms need refrigerators (for medication) and Micro-waves; because some medication need to be taken with food. Thank you for the opportunity to commit.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everyone allowed me to feel blessedGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It seemed they had lowered prices due to no hot breakfast. Also the shower runoff made the whole bathroom wet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good but could do with a lift"
In fairness the hotel does seem to be going through some upgrades right now, and it needs it. Great location with respect to the airport and access to the freeway system for visitors not familiar with HoustonGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stay awa for several months-Renovations"
This hotel is under major renovation. And not listed as such on Doubletree page. Expedia show a few rooms under renovation. Main entrance is shut down and fenced. Temporary entrance is poor. Easy to trip on curbs and dirty. Front desk hidden down a hall made of drywall and very narrow. Main hallway to rooms closed for 2 weeks now due to construction. […] Need to go outside to access desk and dining. Main hallway is access to the meeting and convention areas. Rooms that are renovated are poorly designed. Room door, closet doors, and bathroom access all collide. Cannot get in if someone is exiting the fridge area. Reminds me of a travel trailer. Place stinks of paint and carpet fumes. Handicapped parking not moved to side entrance. Now against the fencing area. Flags at half-mast tangled in overgrown palm trees. Staff can be curt and obviously tired of the whole mess. "Meet my needs"
My wife,7 year old daughter and I made last second trip from Fort Worth to Houston to see my sick father. He stays near Hobby Airport so once I did my research for hotel near to airport, Double Tree came up (literally right across the street). Right now ongoing renovations but everyone made up for it with their above and beyond customer service (even […] gave my wife a cookie fanatic 4 extra cookies!!!). We will definitely stay again. The hotel is under construction so taking that into account...it was noisy, my room was freshly refurbished but dirty and nothing worked including the A/C.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I had a terrible experience. When I checked in gave the front dest clerk my Credit card for incidentals. The next morning I ordered breakfast from the restaurant to go. As I was leaving to go back to my room the server informed me that they couldn't find a CC on file and that I had to leave my food. I asked if someone would walk up stairs to get payment […] or offered to bring it back down after I eat, as my food was getting cold. Both of my request were denied and I was forced to leave my food sitting on the bar. The customer service was terrible Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel under renovation. Ideal place to stay if catching an early morning flight out of HobbyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A great stay"
Very nice room, modern and clean. Extremely comfy bedding. Only complaint is wifi is not free ($9.95 a day) so not great for business.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Under construction but nice"
Hotel was under construction but was very nice. Very close to the airport. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient but a few things lacking."
Over all this hotel was a good experience. It was close to the airport and provided shuttle service which was helpful for this trip. However, it frosts me a bit when you pay over $100 a night for a room and it doesn't come with free internet or wi-fi. Also drinks at the lobby bar were a bit stiff.Genuine Expedia guest review

HOTEL WAS HAVING WORK DONE EVERYTHING WAS OUT OF ORDER PLEASE WAIT TILL THEY ARE FINISHED TO SEND ANYONE ELSE THERE!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We did not get much sleep because of the drunks that kept coming to the 5th floor screaming and making loud noise. We called the front office to ask them to help in this matter. Not sure if they did or not. We will not be staying at your hotel in the future.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ideal for late arrivals to Hobby Airport"
Closest to Hobby Airport. Frequent 24 hour shuttle to and fro from airport.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great for a family or just business."
The hotel and staff was awesome. Enjoyed our stay very much. They were friendly and attentive.Genuine Expedia guest review
Staff very friendly , Clean room and Great Drinks and Flat screen with the game on and WIFI in Lobby. Great Location before leaving for a cruise out of Galveston.. Shuttle drops you off at the right location for your shuttle connection to meet your cruise .Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is an older Doubletree that is currently being renovated. However, the neighborhood around Hobby Airport is not nice. The lobby area looked nice, but when we got to our room it was updated (with some minor updates) and the heater did not work. Additionally, the walls were paper thin. We could hear the entire conversations of the neighbors on both […] side of us. Unforunately for us, it seemed as though both rooms were having parties and were loud all night. We were 4 rooms down from the elevators, but they were also incredibly loud all day and night. Unpleasant stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was remarkably quiet for being so close to the airport. Room needs a little updating but overall very nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I love doubletrees. This one is under renovation currently. Good hotel, it was NBA All Star Game weekend, so the whole area was pretty crazy. Great price for the weekend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I had plumbing issues and the hotel staff did a horrible job communicating with me. I would not stay at this location ever again.Genuine Expedia guest review
We had a great time. The Shuttle on time and the cookies were great too. Thank you.Genuine Expedia guest review
"kind of scary part of town, but next to airport"
I stayed here for a conference I needed to attend. The conference was located on site so it was easier to stay there. Room was a little pricey to NOT include free wifi. Ordered room service for every meal because area hotel is located in is a wee bit scary....that part of Houston is known for crime. However, the room service was above par, food was […] actually quite tasty and appeared freshly made-a little pricey, spent an average of 18 dollars/meal by time gratuitiy and fees were all paid (total for once breakfast, one lunch, and one dinner was 63.00). Room was comfortable, clean. The bathrrom was VERY small-VERY VERY small. And it was loud being right next to the airport with all the air traffic, but they were happy to accomodate me with a box fan for noise reduction. Overall, I would stay here again...if the price was right. Otherwise, there are lots of other close hotels that include wifi and free hot breakfast. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Never going back there again"
What a god-awful place. Pricey and for what? The bed was comfortable but the TV signal (dish TV) cut out every half hour or so, it was impossible to control the temperature, and I've seen better bathrooms in ferries... Yes, it is next to Hobby alright but you have to go at least 20 minutes by car to find a decent place to eat. Try the Courtyard instead- […] it's cheaper and better... Very good - will plan from now on to try to stay at any Hilton hotel for future travel. Bed especially comfortable - pleasantly surprised at the excellency of this hotel vs the low price we paid for the roomGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Did not get to try the restaurant because they are going extensive renovations; otherwise, very pleased. Wife and kids want to come back and stay here.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to Hobby Airport"
If you need to be close to Hobby to catch a flight this is a great hotel. Has full bar with food service, and the food is good. They have a free shuttle service to the airport. when I arrived at Hobby I only waited a couple of minutes for the shuttle (I think it runs every 15 minutes) and when I departed at 4:30am the next morning the shuttle was running. […] Upon arrival there was only one reservations clerk and six or eight people were checking in. I was third in line so it wasn't too bad for me, but it took quite awhile for some. I waited about 10 minutes to get checked in. The other thing is that they are renovating the hotel. So beware that there may be construction noise during the day. Nice staff but much construction going on. Nice lobby but rooms are just ok. Room was very large.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
room was very noisy due to elevator.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Just like every other Double Tree out there. Also note that this used to be just a "Hilton" and has recently (Nov 8, 2012) changed to a Double Tree. They are in the middle of rennovating the place.Genuine Expedia guest review
Why should I be charged for WiFi when I am paying so much a night for a room?Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It was so so, nothing major to report"
I thought that the hotel might be a little nicer based on what they show online. However, the lobby is really the only thing that's nice.... The rooms seemed pretty standard and for a standard, 2 star, not bad. I suppose that I just expected more out of the Hilton because of it's name. The fact that they charge for wifi was also a bit bothersome!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Expected a bit more from a Hilton Hotel...."
Very close to Hobby airport. Not too much noise from the planes. Bed very soft so not too comfortable to me. Rollaway same condition, very soft mattress. Room was pretty spacious and enjoyed the breakfast in bed room service option but food was a bit cold whne it arrived. Pool was refreshing and fun with towels provided for guests. No hot tub. Gift […] shop was well stocked with items and business center was quick and easy to use. No disney channel and no pay per view movies. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Boardwalk Restraunt is expensive and the food was not that good. Cafe for breakfast was ok... nothing to write home about. Staff was great!! Has a nice gift shop.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Airport"
We only stayed the night before flying out to go home. We arrived very late and left early. Check in was super quick, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was good. It is very close and convenient to the Hobby airport. My only complaint and main dissatisfaction is that there is no continental breakfast. It is SO very convenient and helpful to […] have breakfast at the hotel. But here, the cheapest you can get for ONE person was $13. Needless to say, we ate at the airport, where even those high prices were less than 1/2 of what we would have paid at the hotel restaurant. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Very nice Hotel....especially by the Airport. Nice pool and bar area!Genuine Expedia guest review

Shuttle does not pick up from airport late at night, must call a cab which the hotel reimbursesGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place at Hobby"
Nice hotel for the rate. My only complaint was the long time it took to check in (after 9 PM). Only one person was working the desk and as it happens 4 guests show up to check in. If I had not been exhausted at the time it would have probably been ok. It was a good place to stay near Hobby Airport and will consider it again when in the area.Genuine Expedia guest review
The people at the front desk needs more customer service training. She didn't seem as if she wanted to be there. But the room was nice and clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
