We usually stay at homewood suites because they are different from other hotels. This one was not very clean. The coffee cups smelled like sweat. The water from the faucet smelled as well. My child found a barrette in the bed (were the linens changed before we showed up?) Breakfast not too tasty. We had early lunches for that reason. When we arrived […] there was a note saying be back in 5 mins. We waited outside 30 degrees. Then called and the guy was just behind the counter doing paperwork. Why have a sign saying you aren't there. Make a sign that says press buzzer or something. The hotel reeked of cigarette smoke as well. Will not stay at THIS Homewood Suites again. Read more

Very nice room and facility. Could use a bit of cleaning in the corners of the bathroom. When details like that are not up to par, it makes you wonder about the issues you can't see. I would still stay here again though.

I consider Homewood Suites a pretty solid bet in any location but this particular one is amazing. The rooms are very clean, the staff friendly, and everything you could think of is well attended. The staff prepare in advance and had my key card waiting for me with my name and room number on it prior to my arrival so I know that they are a proactive group and make sure they are as prepared as possible - it shows in everything you experience at this Homewood Suites. Hotel was very nice. They had a problem with our room so they provided another room and didn't charge for that night. The next night we were able to move to the original room. Nice breakfast too.

The room was spacious and very clean. I didn't have a need for a kitchen but it was well stocked. The hotel is clearly intended for longer stays, but it was very nice for one night as well. No airport noise at all.

I, my son and two of his buddies stayed at this hotel. Our stay was wonderful. The room was very nice and comfortable. I loved the complementary hot breakfast. The front desk staff was gracious enough to provide keys when we'd leave our keys in the room.

We ended up at Homewood Suites due to a lot of places having no vacancies due to a softball tournament. We were very happy that we did! There were 6 of us (2 adults, 3 teens and an 8 yr. old) in a King bed suite, but had plenty of room once we got a cot (at no extra cost). The room was very clean and comfortable. The hot breakfasts were amazing! It […] was great being able to fill up on biscuits and gravy, eggs, and bacon one morning, and pancakes, eggs and sausage links the next. There was also cereal, fruit, yogurt and danishes/bagels/toast available. We didn't have time to use the pool while we were there, but saw several others enjoying the area and it was very clean. A get away weekend for my wife and me. Absolutely wonderful experience. Facility is exceptionally clean, the breakfast was hot and plentiful. The pool area is a bit small and lacks enough lounge chairs. A big group of us stayed at this hotel because it was super close to the airport as well as the location we were celebrating the New Year. The hotel staff were amazing and super accommodating. Being New Year's Eve we were going to take a cab to our party destination, but the receptionist arranged for the shuttle service to drop off our group instead. […] Saved us all the cab fare and we all arrived at the same time instead of shifts :) Also, the rooms were super clean and actually nicer than we expected for the price. This was a New Year's getaway with my wife, and we were staying in, so wanted a suite where we could fix a little dinner and lounge around on the sofa. This hotel was very comfortable. The only thing that I would change would be to add whirlpool tubs in the rooms. I have back problems and this hotel only has an outdoor pool and no hottub.

Our overall experience at this hotel was good but our first interaction when checking in was something to be desired. The front desk clerk made it very clear that he did not like third party reservations like here on hotel.com and that the hotel.com did not inform us correctly of a deposit that they charge of $50 and that they would hold this depost […] for up to one week after we checked out. So if you book a room at this hotel be aware that they will require a $50 deposit upon checking in and it will take up to a week to get your money back and be prepared to hear a lecture about using services like hotel.com when booking a hotel. We personally have booked all of our hotel reservations through hotel.com and we have been very happy with the services and the prices hotel.com is able to give us when we travel. Read more

I'm tired of poorly run hotels with out of order swimming pools. This pool was mostly drained & had green mold growing in the bottom. Stayed at the 2 double suite - it had a bedroom with 2 double beds and a separate living area w/ a pull-out couch. The room is NICE. This hotel was chosen for our first night in town, near to the airport so family could gather and prepare for a reunion the next day. Others in the family picked Homewood Suites 2 bedroom suite for their party of 5, the best deal for them. I went along, although my party of 2 would have been fine in a conventional room. I had no prior experience staying […] in a Homewood Suites hotel. We were surprised and pleased by the value for the money! For about $25 more per night than "bargain" hotels, we received far more in comfort and convenience. True rest was enhanced by the 5 pillows on each bed, and the mattress comfort was very adequate. We went next door to the Embassy Suites for takeout food, although we could have ordered room service. We used the dishes and silverware, then washed them after. We felt so at home and able to be out of each other's way with the extra living area. We arrived 1 1/2 hours before check in time, but were given our room right away. Once or twice the desk attendant had to be summoned from elsewhere, but I assume that staffing may be light in these times. The staff was responsive and helpful. I recommend booking early, as all we had available was a smoking room. Neither of us is sensitive to smoke, and the smell was not overpowering. I did not ask them to spray odor abatement in the room, but I am sure they would have if I had asked. We enjoyed the breakfast bar with sausage and eggs. In other hotels we have been forced to go elsewhere to eat, due to the availability of mostly muffins, cereal and toast. Paying for breakfast removes some of the savings in a bargain hotel. Other reviewers have commented that they found the AC unit to be loud. This is true. We avoided using blankets and turned the thermostat to a warmer temp. to avoid the unit going on and off more frequently. The rest of our hotel nights were in hotels that charged less.
