The Hotel was well presented and quite quirky with it's deco. Fantastic for location and shopping - no need to use public transport. Breakfast was the usual continental with a couple of hot dishes. They have a fantastic roof garden with a cocktail bar and eating area - not cheap though (?15 for an average cocktail) Stayed in a Classic Double, however just check before you unpack as some rooms are a lot smaller than others, we did manage to change to a larger room after 1 day.

The rooms were a bit small but very comfortable and spotless clean. The restaurant food was lovely but the waiters were a bit ditsy but that wasn't a problem as there was plenty of cafes near that done great food at great prices. The bar was expensive and at night it was €15 per drink no matter what drink you order even soft drinks and water. Other than that it was excellent.

Good hotel...decent ambience, friendly staff. Best part is the location - situation right on Piazza del Papolo, most tourist attractions are either a 10-15 min walk away or a short bus ride. Only downside, room size is very small - but hey, you would want to be out in the city in Rome rather than in the room!!

This hotel is in an excellant position close to the Spanish Steps and near to the Metro. The room was very compact but spotlessly clean, we were bothered for a larger room which was offered at an extra cost, as visitors to Rome we needed a comfy bed at the end of each day which is what we got. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was not exciting but well presented and plenty of it. We recommend the hotel as 'very good value for money'.

We recently stayed at the Valadier hotel and from the outside and lobby the hotel was great. However once the bellhop took our bags and walked us up to our room we were not so happy. In order to get to our room we had to go up to the 5th floor go out to the emergency stair well and then back into another door then go down another elevator to the 4th floor to go into another door to get to our room. If you looked from the outside our room was actually in the next building over. I felt like they stuck us in a corner some where. Not to mention that the other rooms in our hallway (there were 4 others - they looked like apartments and not hotels.) Over all the hotel was clean but the staff seemed to ignore you and not make eye contact. There seem to be plenty of other nice hotels in the area - i would suggest looking around next time.

We received a very small room with a tiny tiny window that didn't open and the aircondition did not work.
