"No Hot Water in Shower.... Slow Internet..."
One should have low expectations when staying in Ridgecrest California... thus I went to the "nicest" hotel in town... and well while the room was clean, the staff was nice... one would expect to at least have hot water to shower... also the internet was intermittent and slow...Genuine Hotels.com guest review

There was a school field trip going on and unfortunately the office staff felt it was okay to allow about twenty 8/9 years olds to RUN around the balcony until 10pm. Yes, we had 11 of them in the jacuzzi and about a dozen more in the pool earlier. We had just riden our bicycles 80 miles and were exhausted. The man at the front desk said they couldn't […] do anything about it because the pool was open until 10. I told him they weren't in the pool but were RUNNING AND SCREAMING IN THE HALLWAY. If they were in the pool, I wouldn't have complained as it was appropriate. Too bad their customer service doesn't apply to all customers. The kids' parents were at the poolside drinking beers. Our room came with complimentary breakfast buffet in their restaurant...not some room, off to the side with dry rolls and stale coffee. We were there for 4 days....excellent food every day.
