"Beware the roaches"
Overall it felt clean. The second day I noticed German roaches. The staff was friendly. At one point the bathroom door locked and I could not get in to it. The maintanence were gone so they offered to change my room. My stuff was still in the bathroom so I finally got a cleaning person and explained the tools she needed to get it open. I actually googled screwdriver images to show her. She was polite and tried her best. It did get opened finally. I mentioned the roach issue to the hotel and the lady said she would mention it to maintanence. Highly unlikely. That is also what I was told about the door lock but had no maintanence available. Needless to say I did not eat at their breakfast buffet. Ewwww. After I left the hotel I was home unpacking and had a German roach in my suitcase from the hotel. Super disgusting.

"Close to the airport."
Upon arrive I didn't get the friendly welcome that I had expected. There was an un happy guest at the desk when we first came in. Our room was clean, but the toilet paper holder was broken and hanging out of the wall. Would fall out each time you used it. The room was VERY cold. Took a while to get it down to a comfortable temp.

"Disappointed"
We needed a hotel near the Cruzan theater and found the Stay Inn online. We noticed right away that this motel appeared old and needed repairs and updating. It was a non-smoking room, but smelled like smoke. The sink stopper was not connected and we were unable to fill the sink up. The bed was okay but we were unable to raise the air conditioner which was on 67 and freezing. The following morning I went to unplug my cell phone charger and a cockroach crawled out from behind the plate. We couldn't leave soon enough.

"Very Surprised!"
I shopped around for pricing hotels in WPB and decided on this hotel. At this price, I was not expecting anything special. I was extremely surprised at the entire facility! Reception and waiting area was very nice and spacious and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again!

"Not as advertised"
I chose this hotel specifically for the 6 am shuttle service. Unfortunately this was not as advertised. The shuttle driver was 15 min late, the desk staff complained to the kitchen manager about the hotel manager not holding the drivers accountable and that she was made to pay for a taxi to get another person to their flight on time. The other issue was a bug (cockroach) ran across my sister while in bed.

"Good for an Overnight"
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night while we picked up a car he bought. The room was fairly clean and the bed was decent (we both passed out after a day of flying and running around West Palm Beach so we were super tired anyways). No complaints about the facility, I've stayed in better but you do get what you pay for. My only complaint was when my boyfriend called the hotel for the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The girl on the other line was short with him and told him she didn't know where the shuttle was but he'd be about a half hour to get to the airport (PS the hotel is 6 minutes away and the shuttle I thought was just to and from the airport). We thought that was a lot of time so instead we took a $7 cab ride. Were we surprised to find the shuttle driver standing outside talking to a girl - I get you're allowed breaks but honestly, with that job you know he gets time here and there when he is not needed. Was 'funny' to find him still there 10 minutes later when we quickly dropped our stuff off in our room and left; note we did not call back to say that we didn't need it anymore, so he was just taking his sweet time.

"Our trip"
We stayed there 3 nights and came back for another night to be close to the airport for an early flight out. Our stay was already paid for, so that is why we did not look for other accommodations. We has roaches in our room, the last morning. We ask for a wake up call and it never came. The first room had stained and ripped carpeting, a broken toilet seat (I called the desk and told them the 1st day) which never got repaired.

Room had dusky smell. It was fairly clean. A little concerned about security.Did not feel very safe. Had to pay extra for cab to airport as shuttle did not run till 6 am. Hotel clerk was friendly & helpful.

"Clean, basic hotel room, terrible staff!"
Our check in experience was good. It was friendly and fast. Our room was ok. It was very dated and the small beds tilted back towards the wall. I will say it was very clean. The pool was nice and the kids enjoyed it. It was also quiet. I didn't hear any noise during the night. Our experience took a turn for the worst in the morning when we went down for breakfast. It was crowded, noisy and the Trash cans were overflowing. They were out of everything and the staff was so rude. They acted like we were intruding on their morning. There was a waffle maker with no batter and after they refilled it and I asked for syrup they told me it was out there. I told them it was empty and they had to leave their little room and check it, instead of just taking my word for it and giving me syrup. That ruined my entire experience. If I had known that's what breakfast was going to be, I would have just gone to the Ihop in their parking lot and had a nice breakfast. If you can't do something you offer well, then don't do it!

Room was musky and could use some additional upkeep. The price was ok for spring training the other hotel around were a lot more expensive. Probably would stay their again if I could not find another hotel for a better price. However this was a one time experience and I probably will not be returning to the area again.

Stayed here because we didn't have a reservation and couldn't get in other places. It should be given a "fair" rating instead of "good". There may have been better rooms available, but ours was dark and musty smelling. I can't comment on the breakfast because we were too anxious to leave and didn't go.

The room was disgusting it had mold on the ceiling and walls. The carpet was ripped and coming up. The bed sheets had holes and stains on it. the ac had gross stuff you had no clue what it was. I don't ever want to stay here again. I'm so disappointed and disgusted with the room. The people that worked there where not nice and all full with attitude.

"Good cheap spot if flying out the next day."
Good handicap facilities but only one double bed when we paid a double bed room rate and asked for handicap accessibility. They were full and couldn't change. Air conditioning was loud as was bath fan that was activated when the light was turned on. Check out was 12:00, where some others near that price were 9:00 or 10:00. Breakfast was free but uneventful. Good coffee. Room was sparse and dated, bed seemed springy, but we slept well without hearing airport traffic or kitchen noise (right next door) in the morning. Some staff seemed friendly but not as knowledgeable (perhaps new?). Overall, nothing to rave about, but did the job. I would recommend for a one night stay if room had the number of beds I requested at the price quoted.

Breakfast was very poor; unhealthly donuts, orange juice unavailable - think the machine was broken. the lady on the second day (Saturday March 7th) couldn't careless about the mess surrounding the breakfast area. Use all styrofoam plates/bowls and plastic knives/forks/spoons - evironmental nightmare. Just not pleasant. Rooms - dark and dull.

"You get what you pay for"
Would spend the extra money for a cleaner hotel. Thought we would save a few bucks because only needed a place to sleep and shower and thought sometimes you need to read past bad reviews. Not the case here...had a "smoke free room" the room stunk like cigarettes and smelled like mildew. My husband and I felt dirty just being in the room. Hotel staff was kind and polite but the facility is dirty and on the run down end! You get what you pay for!!!!

"Good Night Sleep by Airport"
Parking was a challenge. I made reservations and asked for ground floor as walking is difficult. Especially stairs. I was on 2nd floor. Glad they DO have elevator. My room was in front building over lobby and I had to park all way in the rear of the second building. And at Check in my reservations couldn't be located. Other then those issues the staff we extremely friendly. I would stay there again.

"Not so nice"
Last minute booking, motel was close to the airport but old and tacky feeling.The woman who checked us in had no concept of what hospitality is. The Chinese food recommended by the front desk went in the garbage, horrible. Light bulb in the room was out and the dust on the light bulbs gave an indication as to what kind of cleaning the rooms receive. The lobby had no air conditioning and since breakfast is served in a space adjoining the lobby I couldn't understand the reasoning. The woman who served breakfast was delightful but the gentleman who picked us up at the rental car office was on his phone talking and reading messages several times on the short ride to the motel.

"Questionable customer service"
Arrived on designated day w/ proper I.D. & confirmation #. Unfortunately, reservation was booked through hotels.com. The front desk person (Natalie)was extremely rude. She stated there are different rates that the hotel charges verses what is charged booking on line. The room was fair; no blow dryer or coffee carafe to make coffee (at least there was breakfast in the lobby).Asked if we wanted to spend another night, was this possible. She stated to go on line to make a reservation?? Customer service???
