for the price I don't expect a ton of amenities however I was thoroughly unimpressed with everything but the friendly and helpful staff. The lack of a mini-fridge and the very plain bathroom were a little disappointing. This is not the first time I've stayed here and have been satisfied with each visit, rooms are nice and clean, although they have gone to wooden blinds, which I think is nice, but it just so happen ours did not work for positioning. The pool was refreshing, and the breakfast was good. Personal are always helpful.

Hotel was very comfortable for the price and the fact that it is Realy a Motel with outdoor access to the rooms.we stayed for 10 nights, The pool was nice. The only critisim I have is that Breakfast was not replenished each morning and therefor there were a couple of days when they were out of Milk

The hotel rate was great, Day Mgr put me in the farthest 2nd deck room. I asked was it because I got a discount rate from on line? No - he said the Stock Yard/ Rodeo was in & it gets a bit of loud & stuff. At midnight there was only 4 cars on my side of hotel. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times, but it seems to be on a downward spiral. The lobby is very western and fun, but the rooms are old and outdated--in dire need of new bedding, carpet and upholstery.This time we had a 'suite' which was one room with 2 queens and an adjoining room with a sofa sleeper, desk, etc. The upholstery of the chairs […] and sofa was worn and torn; carpets were old. Bedspreads were blah. But worst--when we went to make up the sofa bed, we found the cushions were all ripped apart on the back side and the springs of the sleeper bed were sprung. We let management know and they put us in a different set of rooms. No better on the quality of the carpet or upholstery, but at least the sofa was in working order and comfortable. Management was very good, just don't have much to work with. On the good side---breakfast is very good and plentiful. And the beds were comfortable. I'm not sure if we'll give them another try. We have stayed at this hotel twice. last visit we were greeted very politley, it was very late when we returned for our room key== had no problems. breakfast was served early for the special event that we were in town for. will stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel at least 4 or 5 times before. It has a decent breakfast and the rooms are comfortable. The staff is very friendly. There are more upscale places to stay than this, but for the money, it represents good value.

On the west side of Ft. Worth, it was a nice place to stay. It's an older hotel, but clean and comfortable. One word to the wise, if you are going downtown ft. worth it's a $30 cab ride! Other than that, it was a nice place to stay.

First the good... The breakfast was nice (for this price range). The wifi was fast, no trouble in connecting. Free parking and plenty of parking spots. The front desk service was quick and efficient. Location is right off the free way, easy to find. Now the bad... The stay would have been better if they had a refrigerator and a microwave (I have been […] to other similar price range hotels which include them as standard). Our room needs renovation, it showed signs of wear and decay (especially the bathroom and carpet). The room did not have blinds and the tv was really old (it showed everything in blue). All in all it's a good hotel for a low budget road trip (especially with the free hot breakfast and parking) but I would not recommend it for a nice family stay. Read more

Very friendly front desk and clean lobby. Rooms were nice but exterior common areas could use attention. Pool area was messy. The hotel is near I-30 only about 7 miles from the Zoo, museums, and Stockyards. The complimentary breakfast was good, with egg'n'sausage biscuits, cereal, a waffle iron with batter, yogurt, muffins, etc. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, even had a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. I picked this place because of the previous reviews, and I agree! It's a very warm and friendly place to stay. I went down stairs the first night to heat up dinner I had bought for my honey, and found a bunch of military men chatting with each other and the staff as if they were all old friends. It reminded me of my USO post back home! When we went […] down for breakfast the next morning, I was worried it would be slim pickin's left, but there was plenty of food and plenty of variety! pros: the location was very convenient, just off of I-35W and near restaurants, 5 miles from the FW botanical gardens, and it was VERY easy to find. the desk manager is very friendly; she gave us pertinent information right away regarding places that might of interest to us. THAT's very good initiative. the breakfast selection was the best among all […] the other choice hotels we'd been to; they had the usual coffee, waffles, and cereal in addition to fruits, hash, sausage & biscuits, juice. the hotel was satisfactorily quiet. cons: the biggest con for us was the pillows were lumpy and very uncomfortable. the faucet on the sink had residual white spots (probably from tooth paste from the previous occupants). the wifi was at best poor+; it disconnected me before i even typed 2-3 sentences in which makes researching for weather updates (which would've been useful to us during that time). the bathroom/ comfort room didn't have a vent so if you do number 2, the smell wouldn't have any where else to go but into your main room. now, THAT isn't very pleasant. lastly, though it's a very trivial matter, the tv set up is all greenish; the picture came up as greenish, kinda like a painting laid out first in green then with all the other colors glazed over on it. it was annoying. this hotel could be great. but right now, it'll do if there's nowhere else to go. Always have some proteins to eat, it is not just all starch & sugar, a diabetics nightmare. Good quiet location right off a major freeway so you can get to almost anywhere easily. We booked based on customer reviews, but were disappointed. It was loud, with planes flying over and little soundproofing between the room and outside cars and voices. No refrigerator in room. Very basic accommodations. Location convenient to I-30, but in a depressing area next to a closed Target store.

This was a very quiet place, great for sleep. Breakfast was more than expected and it was very nice to have internet access. The rooms could use a bit of updating and the bathrooms were a bit moldy, as usual in older hotels with alot of humidity. I do plan on staying there again.

The only good thing about this motel is the rate. I guess you get what you pay for. This room was listed at 2.5 stars(how i have no idea) . The room smelled like smoke and the bathroom was old and dirty. Bed was extremely hard. I've slept on floors in college that were softer. The absolute ONLY complaint I had was I saw nothing to indicate this was the Cattle Baron's Quality Inn - only saw the Quality Inn sign, so drove past it the first time around. Pool was not available for first three days. Breakfasts were fine, and service (overall) was good. On final day, elevator was out of service to first floor. I still would recommend the hotel, but attention must be paid by the staff to the details.
