"Look elsewhere if you have time."
The building is obviously quite old and being maintained at a minimum level. The windows of the room were dirty enough that you could almost not see outside. The shower kept switching between warm and scalding. The full "hot" breakfast was room temperature both days I was there, and none of the coffee (either in the lobby or the restaurant) was hot. […] Of the four breakfast choices, go with the eggs because it seemed to be the only fresh food brought to us.The hot tub water in the spa was warm at best, with no way of increasing the temperature. Worst of all, none of the staff seemed to be know how to smile, especially the young lady who was sitting people in the dining room. In fact, she seemed to act as if customers were an inconvenience. It would be okay if you were just passing through town, otherwise there are plenty of other places to stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good for the price"
Hotel was close enough to Taos and the ski valley. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The free breakfast was just alright. The "cup" of orange juice was the size of a shot glass. That's literal, not figurative. All in all, the price point made the stay worthwhile and I would recommend the hotel to others.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Tough if you need customer care."
I checked in first and went for the function. When I came back, door lock did not work (unlock). Counter person said that she could not do any thing. Only maintenance would open the lock which would be 7AM only. Waited in lounge for an hour and half. Requested late check out. Did not work. Paid $66 for couple of hours of sleep and rude customer service. […] Be careful if you need any help. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay"
Good soup for dinner, good bed, good breakfast all for a great price!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel ok for it's age. Friendly staff. Restaurant was nice with good breakfast. Only major complaint was smell of smoke everywhere by the rooms...but for Taos and the price we managed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The people were very professional and nice. Roland was the check-in guy, Ana was the restaurant seater, and Roger and Dorothy were waitresses. The breakfast was excellent! The price was great! I will stay again (and again, lol)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great stay. Wonderful price. Really great value with the manager's special and the free breakfast! Definitely will be back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"good deal for the price you pay."
Rooms were well insulated so quiet even though hotel was full. Good breakfast. Free soup from 4-6 pm was delicious! However, our room was not cleaned well. The sink had not been cleaned before we arrived. There was a urine smell in bathroom. There was an old dog toy under bed cover that had clearly been there a long time. But sheets seemed clean. "Look for another Hotel"
Evening staff were very rude. The food at the restaurant was so so. We got in later in the evening and the food tasted good but was served luke warm and the server disappeared so we could not ask for it to be warmed. I will look some where else the next time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for the Price!"
The Quality Inn is a little runned down and in need of some improvements, but it was an overall a good stay. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the service is outstanding! The free, made to order breakfast was absolutely delicious! I would definitely stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice. Great for the price"
Comfortable and Breakfast was a pluseGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel ,in terms, of comfort was fine. Of course, it can use some significant renovations. However, the hotel makes up for this with wonderful staffing, great breakfast, afternoon soup, coupons to the bar, etc. that are all included! The staff is kind and generous to help. They work hard and should be compensated, please leave gratuity for all the […] free stuff. This is only right. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice for price, including AWESOME breakfast!"
The hotel is pretty old and needs some updating. The plumbing in our room needed some attention, but nothing that made for a bad stay: hold the handle down for the toilet to flush; bathtub wouldn't hold water; sink needed new filter on faucet. The biggest problem we had was with the Wi-Fi service that was offered free. Since the location is in the mountains, […] there is not good phone service available, except when you are on Wi-Fi, and we couldn't get the Wi-Fi to stay connected long enough for data usage. However, the room was plenty big and the bedding had been updated, and the breakfast served out-weighed the other problems. You are seated in a fine dining room with table-clothes and servers. There is a choice of 4 full breakfast options, cooked to order, and including coffee and juice. Very good! And we left each morning with a full stomach to go skiing! We were placed in a non smoking room at the end of a smoking corridor. The hallway smelled of smoke. When we turned the heat on in our room the smoke smell came in our room. Changing rooms seemed like an inconvenience to staff and they had to call some one to get it approved. This is a very dog friendly hotel. In the hotel restaurant, at the table next […] to us there was a dog that was allowed to sit on the chair at the table. Waitstaff was petting this dog, we hoped they washed their hands before handling our plates. We did not stay our second night. We will not stay here in future. And we will pay more attention to smoking and pet policies of hotels in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Overall very nice stay and the hotel staff was second to none! Great breakfast variety each and every day as well. Well worth the time to stop here.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is very dated, but for the rates and the full cooked to order bfast you really cant beat it. Don't expect the grab bfast though it is rather slow and usually extremely busy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean & Comfortable"
Nice place for the price in Taos and they are pet friendly. Only a minute from the town center and about 25 minutes to the slopes. The cheapest rooms in Taos Ski Valley were starting at $300/night. Free breakfast is made to order and they allowed us to substitute hashbrowns or bacon for grapefruit. There is a nice clean indoor hot tub to relax after […] hitting the slopes. We would definitely stay again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Ski Vacation stay"
Stayed 4 nights with my wife and two children. Staff was great, room was comfortable, everything worked as it should. The hot breakfast was outstanding, 5 combo options to choose from made my wife, kids, and me happy. Much better than a continental breakfast.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good Value and Excellent Staff"
Everything was ready and checkin was easy and pleasant. We were in Taos to be out and about, so we didn't hang in the room. The walls are thin.... it was Christmas Eve and the family next to us was up and making happy noises until midnight, but we probably annoyed them, too when we turned on the weather channel at 7 AM Christmas Day. Very nice breakfast... […] eggs, juice, coffee, bacon, hash browns.. all included in the reasonable price of the room. Overall, I would stay there again... a real bargain. Although my stay was not bad, I will never use a third party again (Hotels.com) nor will I recommend anyone to use this service. "Staying At This Hotel Was and Is a Mistake"
At the time of our check in (about 9PM on Monday 9/30/2013), we were greeted by a rather poorly groomed desk clerk who spent much more time interfacing with a computer than with us. We were given two green cards for $1 off of one drink at happy hour during our stay. We were told that this was in lieu of the Manager's Reception which continues to be […] advertised on the web and on the hotel marquee, but it doesn't exist. My guess is that the manager wants to spend as little time as possible at the hotel. Concerning the guest room, it had a drop-tile ceiling, which is never a good sign. The only available outlets in the room were a 4-plug outlet located behind the refrigerator. All four plugs were in use. The refrigerator, the microwave, the alarm clock and the lamp, so it was up to me to choose what I didn't want use so that I could charge my tablet and my phone. Keep in mind that the plug was borderline inaccessible. The bathroom door did not close due to warping. There was no fan in the bathroom, although there was a grill so that it looked like maybe there was a fan. Generally the room was clean. When we went down for the complimentary breakfast, we were served a pot of coffee in a pot that didn't look like it had seen a dishwasher in a year. It was filthy outside and inside. We did not try the coffee and at this point left the breakfast and did not return for the four days we were there. We were in a non-smoking room which reeked of cigarette smoke as did the hallway. "The best Taos Vacation"
The hotel was clean, the staff treated us very well and we really enjoyed the free breakfasts in the mornings. This hotel was more than we expected. We had an amazing experience at the San Francisco de Assi church in Taos. It is something we will never forget and plan to go back next summer. "Pleasant Hotel, Very helpful staff"
The hotel and it's amenities are good enough, but the staff were very helpful. The front desk clerk went above and beyond helping the people who arrived before we did and were being put up by a car company because their car had broken down. We interacted several times with housekeeping and they were always very helpful and polite. The only warning is […] to beware of the front door since the rounded top doesn't play nicely with the automatic door closer. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"average for families vacation"
We don't ask for much in a hotel, this was fine for us (couple with teenagers). Staff was nice and helpful. Hotel is older and needed a little touch up paint and maintenance. "Inexpensive dog friendly hotel"
This was an inexpensive, dog-friendly hotel near Taos and Rio Grande del Norte National Monument. Everything was clean, and there was a place to take doggies out for potty breaks.
