Everyone at the hotel was friendly and the breakfast was good. The patio in the back is also real nice. I like that checkout time isn't until noon also.

I have stayed at other Holiday Inn Express hotels and they were much nicer. The edges of all the carpeting throughout the rooms & halls had a dust line as if no one ever vacuumed there. I came back to my room one morning from breakfast and there was an almond dropped by my door. I came back after dinner and it was still there. Got up the next morning […] still there... Yes it was just an almond but housekeeping had come by because I had a note under my door acknowledging that I had left the do not disturb sign on my door so they did not clean. The whole experience was good except that they couldn't give us the room we asked for. We bought a King suite and so did the other couple we were with and when we got there they told me there were out of King suites so I had a Queen suite. Then when they checked in right behind me they were told the could have a King suite smoking or a Queen suite not […] smoking. I already bought my king suite so it should have been held that 45 min from check in time that I wasn't there. The only other problem we that the heat didn't work right in the room. Read more

First of all, there needs to be a sign or street numbers on the front of the building. One washcloth looked like someone had wiped their butt on it, the shower/tub control was broken, there were rips in one pillow case and one bed sheet. The cleaning personell were very loud next door.Not what I expected. I'll try someplace else next time!

air conditioner was loud... kept me awake several times in the night. mildew beginning to build up in corners of the shower. staff was nice and room just okay. I would stay at the wingate just down the street it is much nicer.

Biggest complaint is they dont have good internet which is somewhat important for business traveler. The help desk which you have to call (as no one in the hotel can help you with it) is not any better than beating your head on a keyboard.

Staff and assistance was fantastic! Mattress felt older but pillows were awesome. The big problem i encountered was nt he Am taking a shower. The handle had no on/off stop. so it would just go in circles and no idea where hot/cold was. In addition it took a couple minutes to even figure out how to shut it off! Handle on the shower was help on with a […] big phillips screw that stuck out 2" and was obviously a quick fix..no skill involved. The room door took the strenght of an elephant to close and was a huge noise when i did. I leave early in the am and could hear people yell/complain when they woke up to the door being closed. Hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We used the shuttle to airport and left our car parked for the week that we were gone on a cruise, upon return we just called and the shuttle picked us up and returned us to our car in a prompt manner. Overall experience was great and stress free.

The room was very clean. The front desk people were a little unorganized but friendly and helpful to everyone. One of the hotel staff was nice enough to walk me to my room because the tv was on and I was afraid to go in. I would definitely stay here again. I hope all of the Holiday Inns around the country are the same standard.

Hotel manager was cursing when we arrived with children present. The carpet in our room was dirty and stained. The maids didn’t do a very thoughrow job because there was a very aged and rotten apple and banana in the refrigerator. Room and facilities kind of aged and in need of remodel. Not in my opinion up to the Holiday Inn Express standards.

Bathroom was not clean. Did not have housekeeping service. Did not get any clean towels. Bed was not made. Did not get coffee for the following day. Did not have a frige in the room. The front desk clerks were all friendly. Overall not a pleasant experience. Would not stay again.

A fairly large hotel with 14 floors and only two elevators, one of which was out of order. It advertises a restaurant, but there isn't one. The "scenic" lake in back had beer cans floating in it.

I chose a Holiday Inn Express for us to stay at while we were in St. Louis. We have stayed in the same area where this Holiday Inn Express is located at many times before and like the location. I have always been very impressed with all the Holiday Inn Express, that we have visited before. This one not as much. There was mold on the ceiling in the hallway […] outside of our room, the television was old and small, and the handle fell off of the water control while I was in the shower. This hotel is in a great location, close to the airport . I was very impressed with all of the hotel staff , they all were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the free hot meal every morning . This was the first time i was able to leave a hotel, have no complaints , and feel like I look forward to coming back.

This hotel suited my needs. It was clean and the room was adequate. Free WiFi in the room is a definite plus. Parking is also free. It is in a business park type location near the Missouri river, pretty far from downtown. I might have rethought the choice knowing how far it was.
