The a/c wouldn't cool the room. I asked for a non-smoking room and this one stunk like smoke and had burn marks in it. The ice machine was broken. The room close by had large dogs that barked all nite.

Pictures can be very deceiving. Beds were not the greatest, bathrooms were tiny, and air conditioner didnt keep room cool. But if you were just passing by i guess it would have been ok.

To be honest the continental breakfast was not good. I know it doesn't include all breakfast food but you could at least have something that people actually eat. It was so bad it made us go out and buy other breakfast that morning. Other than that our stay was pretty good. Thank you.

You can tell that this is an older hotel, however it is kept updated. The beds were great and the bathroom was clean. Everything was fresh and comfortable. The desk clerk was extremely warm and welcoming when we arrived that night.

The hotel location was ok. The ladies who checked us in/out were both friendly, kind, & courteous. However, the rooms are small. Bathroom is even smaller. The hotel staff was very nice and courteous and made sure all our needs were met. We needed a room on the first floor due to my husband having difficulty walking the stairs. I would not stay here again. The room was nice enough, but all night long three semi trucks were parked outside my door with the engines on. They literally shook the room with their vibrations and only by keeping the heater/AC on full could I sleep at all--and even then the truck noise was very pronounced.

I've stayed at several La Quinta Inn and enjoyed the experience enough to try the experience again. The expectaion was that it was not going to be fancy, but decent and safe. To make a long story short. I was on the side facing a neighborhood. The dog barked periodically throughout the day/night. It was windy and one of the panes of glass in our window […] had a gap in it and our door had no doorsweep. As a result, we heard the swirling wind and every other customer coming back to their room all night long. The chair in our room had a nice stain on it. If I sat in the bathroom, I could literally be part of the conversation in another room. Add in the train horn that will go off at 4 or 5 am, and it made for a very unenjoyable stay. The hotel was supposed to be pet friendly, but there was very little grass for the pets to relieve themselves. The bathroom ceiling had black spots which may be mold (some had been painted over put many patches were new or were showing through the paint). The bedding was very light even though the temperatures outside were rather cold (it's January). […] Also, there were few non-smoking rooms available (and ours was only a few feet from the outdoor courtyard seating area where many of the smokers congregated). The breakfast buffet was fair (they did have waffle makers), but there was no pitcher of water for guests to drink (and no water fountain in the area). Bananas were overripe (brown skins). This hotel is the best one that I've stayed at in Bossier City. It was very clean, very updated and modern, and very quiet. The hotel staff was excellent, and the continental breakfast was also very good. I've stayed at several hotels in Bossier City and this one is by far, the best.
