The beds were hard and stained...the pillows were like rocks...room serves on cleaned room 2 times out of 4 days...the breakfast was a joke...stains in the carpet...bathroom was so small it was like almost impossible to do anything...

The hotel inside was better that I expected the outside it's an older hotel it was so so in the neighborhood was so so only thing is the bathroom sink area doesn't have a door so the only way you could get dress is you had to actually go into the part where the tub was that had a door that was kind of inconvenient the rest of the hotel was okay I would stay there again if I I couldn't get a room for the same price at one of the nicer hotels in the area.

The hotel is old and not exactly located in the is part of town. The rooms are clean and safe. There is no restaurant at the hotel and the one in front of the hotel is closed. If you want something to eat you need to walk next door to the Marriott or drive about a mile from the hotel. It was an okay stay, but next time I might stay next door.

My sister's and i drove up to check on our dad who lives in Gary. Weather was bad so we had to get a room. Since we checed in late,they gave us 2 extra hours. The rooms wew extremely nice and so was the staff. Um looking forward to my next trip to Indiana...... This is where i well be staying.

Hotel was over booked and caused a lot of headaches. Booked two rooms and checked in and payed and before other guest arrived they put someone in our other room. Not a good situation.

from the outside it looks small, but once your inside wow, beautiful place to stay. my room was very clean and bigger than I thought it would be. I was allowed to check in earlier than my scheduled time, and customer service form the front desk was awesome, and the continental breakfast was overwhelming, they had so many different items to choose from. I will definitely being stay there again.

Shower was awful. Very cold water at night. Neighborhood was crying in hallway at 2am. TV channels very blurry. The hotel staff was amazing and very pet friendly.

Hotel was purchased at a bargain price and was as nice as you would expect for that rate. A bit noisy at night due to thin walls but otherwise the room was adequate. Service staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Clean room as well as nice room setup. What stood out the most was the luxury pillows,may sound weird but most hotels have the worst pillows.

Hotels.com and this hotel were having a hard time communicating about my reservation. We arrived and it took an hour to get us into a room. But they dropped the price, and the girl at the front desk gave us some bags of goodies to keep the kids happy. In the morning my kids overslept breakfast and we missed it. The front desk again helped us out and gave us pop tarts, turned to juice machine on, Etc. Great customer service. Will definitely stay here again if passing through

We had no trouble staying here. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! The hotel is older, but it is very comfortable and affordable. We didn't try the breakfast, but it looked nice.

The room was fine, except the walls were a little dirty. The shower wasn't hot for the first person, but for the second, it was fine. The beds were beginning to tilt toward the middle. The worst thing wasn't really the hotel's fault, but a dog barked throughout the night and then for 20 minutes at 6am.

Parking is very limited due to the location being shared with a restaurant that has parking spots marked and stated they will tow cars. The "free breakfast" only consists of bagels, cereal...small things basically. I had to call front desk about an issue with the ice machine on the second floor (which is where our rooms were on) and she stated to me that it just needed to "replenish" because of it being used so much.....no, it was broke...big difference, which never got fixed. If you need to call the front desk after midnight you might as well not try...they won't answer the phone. I was not impressed at all! No microwave, no refrigerators in the rooms. If I'm going to pay the price I paid then I want more than just a 26" flat screen TV. Rooms were clean though. Bathroom is extremely small though.

Seriously dissapointing; we had to walk up the stairs to the 2nd floor with luggage which included two suitcases We would never have booked a hotel with knowledge there were no elevators My husband and I are senior citizens; walking up stairs with luggage was very hard for both of us A nice young man offered to help us - hotel staff advised no help available to help us get luggage up the stairs to the 2nd floor Expedia and La Quinita should post no elevator service in advertisements

Hotel staff were extremely polite and very accommodating. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a nicer room, which was a very nice surprise. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We woke up late for breakfast and when we called down to the main lobby they told us they would leave the breakfast out for another hour so that we could make it. The pool area was very clean and private. We had a great stay and I will definitely stay here again if I go back to Indy.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar was fairly extensive, and the staff worked hard at keeping the area stocked and clean. The room seemed a little older, but it was clean. Our family enjoyed the outdoor pool!

Hallway door slams, if you're a light sleeper make sure you move, we did. beds are comfortable. Waffles, juice, muffins, coffee. Didn't get to check the pool. In for Indy 500.

Our Hotel room was nice, the interior and exterior of the hotel seemed to be well kept. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly pleasant and friendly. The hotel and room were perfect for an overnight stay for the price.

The hotel was old and needs to be seriously renovated. Paint was peeling in the stairwell. The hall lighting was poor. We will NEVER stay at another La Quinta. Your TV ads are deceptive because the rooms and hotel do not match the ads.

We had to call 3 times to get the battery changed in the fire alarm. We called twice before we left for our event and it still was not done at 11 pm and had to call to get it done at night and it took another 30 minutees before we could go to bed.

We have stayed at Many LaQuinta's this is why we stayed again. BUT upon arriving to the hotel, we were pretty skeptical. The area and how the hotel entrance is (looks like its in an alley) almost made us find another hotel for the night. But when we walked in the room the room itself was MUCH nicer than the overall look of hotel. Loved the locked doors from outside that made us feel much safer, and there was a security car driving around and walking the halls. mixed feelings about that..are you stated not a safe place to be, or is it for overall safety. Staff was friendly and informative tho.

Check in was easy. The room was VERY clean and comfortable. Large fluffy towels were nice. Breakfast was superb! Are staff were helpful, friendly, and very pleasant. We always stay here!
