      I was pleasantly surprised by the value. Hot breakfast was included. Very fast good wi-fi was included. Coupons for free wine and beer in three hotel restaurant watering-holes were provided. Room is a standard hotel room with plenty of space. Extras like microwave, fridge, ironing board, and a real desk with rolling chair were present. Shampoos, soaps, and lotions and plenty of linens were presented. Only issue was those people using their free drink coupons got very happy and loud much of the night both nights. It didn't ruin my day or night. Life is life.

      The Lookaway Inn was a great spot on our stay in N. Augusta, SC for a concert in Augusta, GA. The staff was very friendly, in particular Sammy, who was there during check-in and check-out. He gave us a tour of the beautiful main building and gave us some of the history of the home. Our room was spacious and spotless. The beds were very comfortable. We didn't want for anything. They have a beautiful courtyard that would be very nice in pleasant weather. The Inn was also very close to downtown Augusta, GA (much more so than the chain hotels out on I-20) but felt 'safer' than venues down around Broad Street. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. Two items to be aware of: the TV's are small but they are HD so we found them very easy to watch. The floors are all hardwoods so if anyone is walking above you with shoes on you'll hear them. This was a wonderful place to stay!

    This particular La Quinta was below any others I have stayed at. The location was very convenient, on Washington Road. We chose this hotel because of... the cheaper price while still being in a great location. The room was small as well as the bathroom. The shower heads were very short. I am 5'11" and the shower head was right at my collar bone. There was also just about enough room to turn around in the bathroom. The parking was difficult and they weren't even at full capacity.     When my wife booked the room she was under the impression it was furnished with a microfridge, and had more channels on the television besides 5. Was not happy about that since i brought food with me so i wouldnt have to eat out and still ended up having to eat out every meal.

    The rooms are clean and the beds are great. It's not a luxury hotel but for the bucks, you can't beat it. It is in close proximity to the interstate and the Denny's has good food 24/7.

    We got a room here to crash in Augusta after a party. Everything was good for the intended purpose. It was close to the highway and lots of food choices around. I wouldn't hesitate to rebook this hotel again.

    Very good value for money. Had trouble with one light not working, and could not get TV to turn on. Checked in late and left early and was a single so I did not call services for help. Overall, I got a good night's sleep and the staff was helpful during check in/check out. Would stay there again.

    Price was decent for what we got. Rooms have updated furnishings but the old bones still showed, badly. Hard to navigate the intersection in front of the hotel, It did have a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robins across the parking lot. Unfortunately, the guests next to us were rowdy both nights and we did not get sleep, having to call the manager […] to quiet things down. Breakfast was all pre packaged and more like a continental than a "free hot breakfast". Read more

    We were very pleased with our accomodations. Ms Peggy greeted us upon arrival and she was greatly concerned that the accomodations be suitable. There had been some confusion evidently, I had asked for a handicap room requesting grab bars in the bathroom and evidently I called them "rails" and whoever I spoke to thought I said Braille and there was some […] concern.     The beds were very comfortable and the staff very friendly. The breakfast was also decent for a budget hotel, with a variety of cereals, juices, pastries and fresh fruit. (The fruit was actually available all day.) The pool looked fine but it was too cold to use it in November. We will stay there again when we go to visit family in Augusta.

    Our stay was very comfortable and conveniently located to get around the community. The room was clean and fresh with plenty of room. The staff was friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome. It was not fancy but clean and comfortable and a good nights sleep. There were other restaurants and business to eat at within an easy walk.

    We enjoyed stay. Courteous staff , clean room, very nice continetal breakfast. Outside signage is not as prominent as others on street and we had alittle trouble with location when we arrived at dusk. overall very good. convenient to I-20

    The room was clean but clearly a former smoking room turned non-smoking room. Room 314 reeked of smoke and funk. When I tried to get another room I couldn't because they were full due to the IronMan that we were there for that weekend. I believe they switched a bunch of smoking rooms to non smoking rooms in order to fill the place. They offerred me […] room freshener. We had to continuously spray it. When we went to the pool, other doors were open and I could smell the same disgusting smell. The only saving grace was the price, pleasantness of the front desk clerk who tried her best and the fact that a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins is in the parking lot within a very short walk. This is also NOT one of the newly remodeled La Quinta's. It is a very old motel in need of upgrades and Febreeze. Read more

    Overall the hotel is very simple. Finding your room is like walking through a maze but once we found our room it was great. The breakfast was scarce but other than that it was great

    It was bare minimum and it smelled kind of funny. I don't think they gave me the option of having a non-smoking room. Only one of the beds was made, the other had the sheets just left on the floor. The hotel felt dated and dirty. The only upside it was one of the cheapest in the area.

    Check in was good, staff was nice and polite, there was a girl walking around in the parking area when I parked. I had a weird feeling about her. She started to walk towards my car then turned around. My room was clean. I was happy that they allowed pets of all sizes with no pet fee. It was really quiet.
