I went down for a business trip. The hotel staff are caring and considerate! They gave us a call to make sure we got settled in ok...Who does that? La Quinta does that! This was our first time at this hotel, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The room was nice, very clean, comfortable bed. But we got there early and, forgetting there was a 1 hour time difference there, could not check in. We checked out a few things in the area and then went back a little after 3pm, which was their official check in time. When […] I went in to check in, I was told that they were running behind, and to please come back in 30 minutes or so. When I returned in about 40 minutes, I still could not check in, apparently there was a problem and there had been a mandatory order that all AC units in every room be cleaned before we could check in. The nice rep who I had talked to each time (Brittany) was very pleasant and helpful and apologetic, but she left about 4pm and said the General Manager would be in soon to get us all checked in. Finally it was almost 5pm before he came in, looked to see who was waiting, told the rep to go ahead and start checking people in. No apology, no explanation, just turned and walked out. Would I go here again if I was in Huntsville? Maybe. I just think that Brittany needs to be the General Manager and the other guy needs to be doing maintenance! Read more

We checked in and then took a shower. The shower would not drain! I called the front desk and asked for someone come fix it since we were about to go out. They informed me that they didn't have anyone to fix it. So I asked for a new room and they were more than happy to give us one, HOWEVER, they stuck us next to their laundry facility. It was super […] noisy all night. Our room smelled terrible to make things worse! AND our shower head was fit for a person 5'2"! My boyfriend is 6' and had to bend over to rinse his hair! Even though continental breakfast is available, the Denny's restaurant in the building next door has great food and you get a 20% discount if you show your key folder as proof of staying at La Quinta. Overall great overnight stay.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the staff was excellent. I arrived earlier than the scheduled check in time, was able to check in right then and they had my room/keycard ready for me. The location was easy to get to, even with 2 other LaQunitas on the same road, I didn't have any issues finding the right one. I was close to the interstate and was able to reach all tourist locations with ease. The continental breakfast they served in the morning was similar to most other hotels, they had waffles and good OJ, so I was happy. This was my first time in the area visiting family in Madison and I was pleasently surprised at how close I was to everything from shopping, to food, gas and groceries. Having to enter the room from the outside was not an issue for me, I still felt safe and secure. I will definately be staying at this hotel again and would recommend it to family and friends. Convenient, room was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. If I had to suggest any improvements, I'd suggest that the corners of the room could use a wipe-down, and the pool should be cleaned more often (many leaves in the pool, but our stay was at the time Sandy was moving up the coast and the winds were fairly heavy in the area).

I WAS PLEASED WITH THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL AND FRIENDLY STAFF. MY BATHROOM SMELLED LIKE URINE. THE AD SAID WE WOULD HAVE A REFRIGERATOR AND MICROWAVE IN OUR ROOM, THAT WAS NOT THERE. IT FELT MORE LIKE A CHEAP MOTEL WITH CONSTANT NOISE AND SLAMMING OF DOORS ALL NIGHT. I WAS THOROUGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

Stayed one night for business in a King. Room was good size, cold cold AC, comfortable bed, numerous pillows, recliner, free wi-fi and a good sized desk to do work. Also included mini fridge and microwave. Room had a faint "old smell" but not enough to really mention. For the price and checkout of 12:00, I would stay there again.

There is more than 1 la quinta inn next to each other. Oddly enough I picked the wrong one. Had to cross traffic to get to the right one which was two buildings down. The people at the first la quinta inn were much nicer!

I read many reviews before booking at this hotel for a short weekend trip and found that some were probably customers that may be difficult to please. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Bathroom was a little small but overall it was a great deal for a low price hotel.

Kind of oldish. All room doors open to the outside. The room I stayed in did not open directly onto the parking lot, so that made it very quiet. The continental breakfast wasn't all that good, although they did have waffle makers. The upside is that there is a Denny's in the parking lot, not 20 steps away. My room was filthy! I dropped something, and moved the mattress to get it, and it was pure filthy back there. Cig. filters, perfume, dust 2" thick. The mattress it's self was nasty under the cover. Grant you it was a smoking room, but washed the walls down myself, cleaned the stained tub before I could shower, cleaned behind the bed myself, and wiped […] every lamp, drawer, and object down with disinfectant cleaner I went and bought. I prepaid the room with debit, and did not want to wait weeks for a refund. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone period. Our family reserved rooms & paid in advanced, and we arrived late at night, 2am. Then, we were told it would take 30 minutes before we could check in and get our rooms!!! It took at least 20 minutes to check in. The hotel is next to a 24 hour Denny's. There were loud stereos playing, car alarms that went off at least 3 times from 3am-5am, and people […] screaming at each other in the parking lot all night, especially from 4-5AM.
