Rooms were very clean. There was a mini frig and microwave in the room. Lots of movie channels on the tv and a guide! Many hotels I stay at only have one hbo channel and no guide. The value in the rooms is certainly not in the lighting or the bedding but for how much you'll pay to stay here, you'll understand why. The bathroom is very small and awkward, to shut the door you have to literally straddle the toilet. The beds are not uncomfortable but they're not cozy either. I wanted to open the curtains a little to be able to get […] some light into the room but it's just curtains and not blinds, so if I opened them, anyone was able to see into the room and that was not something that I enjoyed. It's not far from the freeways which was really nice and convenient and it was only a few miles away from shopping and a lot of food options. I was very dissappointed with my stay. The main reason I picked this property was because of the pool and jaccuzzi. When I get there, they have filled in the pool(no pool at all now) also filled in the jaccuzzi (whirlpool baths in some rooms for an additional $45..no thanks). Stayed 2 nights, room was comfortable except the carpet was severely stained and dirty. The air conditioner was load on the medium setting, otherwise staff were very nice and accommodating, and went out of their to make our stay comfortable. I think if the carpets were cleaned overall stay would have been nicer .

well i guess you cannot expect much of a motel (right, it's not a hotel but a motel). this motel is ok for the price it chatges. the cons: the swimming pool is super small and the lounge chairs there are really (!) dirty. and the towels ad linens were either stained (evnthough i gues they were clean) or with holes in them. felt kind of old and, and […] the wifi? don't count on that - the signal is really poor an it keeps disconnecting. the pros: the room was ok, felt clean enough, lcd tv, the hotel itself is really close to the 405. the neutral: the continental breakfast was ok, bit poor but ok. i would say that if you don't wanto spen too much and you take all that in mind, i might actually enjoy your stay there. Carson is a bit noisy, so ask for a room away from the street. Tight parking lot. Friendly staff. Only toast or cereal for breakfast so bring your own. Grocery store off Avalon and Carson.

The neighborhood seemed questionable. Noisy high traffic area in front. It was a place to spend a night, but not to vacation. Staff seemed nice. Did not meet our needs, so we didn't even check-in.
