staff members gave out the wrong fax number, faxes and emails don't get automatically delivered to the guest but require a follow-up with the front desk, this is somewhat annoyingGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very convenient location"
Good quality hotel; convenient location adjacent to main rail station and Metro station as well as walking distance to the old town. Staff friendly and helpful.Only negative issue was on departure. A concierge arranged taxi to Brussels airport where the taxi driver attempted to rip us off, delivering us to arrivals rather than departures and charging […] a Euro 10 premium for Saturday! "Great hotel in the heart of Brussels!"
We had a great stay at the Le Meridian. It is located right by the train station. We NEVER heard any noise from the station or from people outside. The hotel is right between the two major tourist destinations: The Grand Place and the Royal Palace. It was easy to navigate between these two areas and catch a quick train to Bruges for the day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Wonderful Brussels location for a tourist. Literall in walking distance of most important sites. Staff was very knowlegable and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"At Metro entrance and plaza"
The staff was wonderful. It was a special occasion and a welcome champagne was waiting for us in the room. Room was really lovely with view of town. Exceptional.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful hotel, great location"
Le Meridian is a great hotel- modern and comfortable with all the amenities you need. The best part is that it's right across from the train station so you can day trip to Bruges or metro around town. It's also right around the corner from Grand Place and Les Galeries and all that comes with it- markets, shops, food, stands. Top notch.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect Location for Long Weekend"
Great hotel--nice room, great location. Would definitely stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Awesome location, very close to the Grand Place."
We were surprised to find that the hotel was just outside the metro station, which made it very convenient to get in and out. It is also a short walk away from the major attractions of Brussels (Grand Place, etc), yet inside the hotel was very quiet.Genuine Expedia guest review
Every aspect of this hotel were fantastic. 30 second walk from the rail station and equally close to action of Brussels. The hotel offers paid wi fi in the room. And FREE! Hi speed wi fi in the lobby and lounge area. The lobby is set up with comfortable seating. The quality of service and the condition of the property could not have been better.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We liked the convenience of this hotel being just across the street from the train station. We waited about 10 minutes to ask a question at the concierge desk to no avail, we were told he's either on a break or with another customer!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel next to Central Station"
Nice hotel, located next to the Central Station, with a public parking close by, connected with the hotel. A good 4-star hotel in Brussels, in the city center.Genuine Expedia guest review
Bang in front of Central Station. Most of tourist attractions are within walking distance. Also good choice of food and beverages close by. Hotel is neat and functional.Genuine Expedia guest review
Newly renovated rooms were very large and very nice. Liked that you needed key to access elevator. Very nice front desk staff. Great location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent Choice Near Center of City"
Great location near transportation, sightseeing buses, Grand Place, good restaurants and shopping.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not a 5 star"
No offer to handle luggage . Guests visably upset at front desk. Employee handling situation was clearly unqualified and lacked training. Not what you would expect.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Central Brussels hotel - comfort and convenience"
Very nice and well-priced hotel for a walk-about hotel as well as a 100 yard walk to central train station (to airport or intra-Belgium trains).Genuine Expedia guest review

"Definitely not a 5 star place."
Travelling through Benelux we quickly learned that not all 5 star hotels are created equal. The Le Meridien in Brussels was our worst experience. This place is lacking on both class and service. Nobody is meeting you at the door on arrival, nobody is offering valet parking unless you ask (and they warn you they are using public parking anyway), the […] staff speaks like car salesmen at best and like drunken sailors at worst, barman is not paying any attention to customers even when the bar is almost empty. The list could go on but hopefully this gives the idea. The room is ok, not counting that the furniture is old, scratched and broken in places, the AC is either not functioning properly or is grossly underpowered to keep the room temperature comfortable and the bathroom sink is almost clogged. Location is very convenient though - just minutes to Grand Place and other attractions. This hotel is right across the central station, that certainly does not help with particularly upscale surroundings, but frankly the entire historical district around the Grand Place has that sketchy feel about it anyway. Make sure to watch your wallet. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"The nicest hotel we've visited in Europe."
We had a minor issue finding parking for the hotel, you actually have to drive around the corner and use the public garage but it is attached to the hotel so that was nice. We loved everything about our weekend visit, the hotel is within walking distance to most of the major attactions, we didn't drive our car the entire weekend. Cons: The carpet in […] our room was dated and really needs to be replaced. The front of the hotel faces the train station and it was dirty and smelled of urine (the front area is all concrete with no trees or plants). There were a lot of people (homeless looking) just hanging out there. But it didn't affect our stay since we were never in front of the hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"top location, top staff"
Beautiful hotel with top smiling staff ready to help. Recently refurbished rooms are large and comfortable. Perfect location 5 minutes from the Grande Place and the Museums. Only slight negative, air conditioning was European style but acceptableGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Fantastic hotel close to the Grande Place"
Thoroughly enjoyed the service at this hotel. The only negative e bit about our stay was that I telnet wasn't offered on a complimentary basis in the rooms- though it is available in the lobby area. Te staff are very warm especially Laurence and the 2 concierge staff- both Suleiman. "Nice hotel close to Central Station"
We had wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel is situated opposite of Central Station and 5 min walk from Grand Place, the main attraction in Brussels. Other attractions, such as Royal Palace and museums, are also in walkable distance. Metro is very close by. Room has nice decor and new carpet. You can access internet free in buiseness office. "Great location in Brussels"
The room (including bathroom) was very large when compared to most other european hotel rooms. The hotel is also decorated throughout with interesting art on the walls. The staff at the reception desk and restaurant/bar were all very courteous, friendly, and most willing to recommend points of interest in Brussels - even points of interest not as famous […] as the typical tourist sites. It is apparent they take pride in their jobs in this hotel. The hotel is just steps away from great shopping, restaurants, and points/places of interest. If you are looking for a nice restaurant serving typical Belgian food, head over to the Aux Armes de Bruxelles. Make reservations as this place becomes packed quickly. The service is good and the food is great. Locals and tourists frequent this place. Since this city hosts so many international corporations/associations, most everyone speaks english. One point of importance - the description for this hotel lists valet parking. There is none. Parking is underground at a public parking garage, but elevators do take you into the hotel lobby. There was plenty of parking for a Saturday and Sunday visit. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is conveniently located next to Brussels Central train station and within a few minutes' walk to all tourist attractions. Staff is polite and helpful. The overall standard is high, as you would expect from a worldwide chain. My only complaint was that the window in my room could not be opened and the room temperature was uncomfortably high […] despite the heat being completely turned off. "Not your average European postage stamp room"
After staying in very small rooms in London and Paris, our room at this hotel was a welcome change. Le Meridien Brussels is located just a short walk from the old city square and across a small plaza from the train station that will take you directly to the airport. There is a charge for wi-fi in the rooms, but use of the computers in the business center […] is free. There is some noise in the plaza in the evening hours which might become a problem during heavy tourist seasons. Tour buses, taxis, subway station are all available right outside the door. In short this was a very user-friendly hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"BON VOYAGE IN BRUSSELS"
Le Meridien in Brussels deserves 5stars all the way but I give it 4.9 . The staff were pleasant & helpful all the way especially concierge. Even the housekeeping team were warm & friendly when they called to inquire about cleaning our room. I would HIGHLY recommend this spot to other visiting friends & we will stay here again when we next visit BRUSSELS. -- […] one extra plus LOCATION could not have been better -- as close to the train station as you are to the Taxi line. €7:50 direct to the airport - wow !! This hotel had the best location in town. You are close to everything here and can walk everywhere from this central location. Also the train station (which has a Starbucks) was across the street. The hotel had fantastic service and was very comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
Le meridian hotel was a great choice for a three night stay in Brussels.Located next for central station, it was an easy walk or train ride to all the places I wanted to go. The room was nice but the hotel is a little short on amenities. Luckily everything one needs is a short walk away. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Brussels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
LeMeridien is an outstanding hotel in central Brussels. It is located next to the central train station and is 20 minutes from the airport by rail. The staff are friendly and eager to please (language is not a problem). The rooms are large by European standards and were modern, up to date, and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the satellite […] tv had more English speaking channels than many European hotels. Overall the hotel was great and I would definitely stay there again. "The most central of locations"
The hotel is directly across from the central train station, which means it also has the best connections to the metro (subway) and a quick and easy connection to the airport. It is also a few minutes by foot to the Grand Market (pedestrian zones & shopping) and the main Parc de Bruxelles, which is surrounded by museums and other sightseeing (also […] jogging). "An Escape from the Tourism of Brussels"
Le Meridian is in a perfect location to sample all that Brussels has to offer. Just across the street from Gare Central and a five minute walk from the Grand Place, the hotel allows it's guests the opportunity to escape from the at times unpleasant tourism of Western Europe to the quiet confines of a spacious room. Daily room cleaning and a turn down […] service is a given here--unheard of a most European hotels. The expert staff is friendly--almost too friendly--and they are eager for feedback. The bar and restaurant, as is the case with most hotels, is overpriced for what it is, however it provides both a stunning and comfortable atmosphere. If you're going for New Years Eve, make reservations in town early. We were given the option of a four course prix fixe in the hotel for upwards of 140 EUR. We declined and were later given the option for in room service of almost the same fare for half the price. Delicious. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very nice hotel in very good location"
Very nice hotel in great location near the Grand Place, across the street from Brussels Centraal train station, and near the main shopping street. The only comments i have are: A) charging for internet in 2013? come on. that's ridiculous. B) the shades don't work they only cover about 70% of the window so you're awake at dawnGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Le Meridien Brussels - great location"
The hotel was kept up very well. Le Meridien is located in a very preferred location close to the central train station and the Grand Place. The rooms are very spacious for European rooms compared to those in the US. I would have preferred that the restaurant stay open normal dining hours at least until to 10 or 11 at night but this restaurant closed […] very early during my stay. "An Ideal Stay"
We couldn't have asked for a better stay in Brussels. Le Meridien is right next to the Central Station (one stop away from Midi/Zuid), and within ten minutes walking from the Grand Place, the Maneken-Pis, the major art museums, the royal palace, and lots of great traditional Belgian restaurants. The staff was courteous, warm, and helpful--all English-speaking, […] as well. Wifi is free in the lobby and lower floors (I could pick up a strong signal from the third floor). The decor and upkeep of the hotel were outstanding. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms well-stocked. The shower had the best water pressure. If you plan to travel in Belguim, the train is the best way to go and the hotel is a few steps away from station. The area is safe to walk around and it very close to everything.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

They have asked extra charge at the beginning to put child bed into room? Strange as I booked the room as family. At the end I did not pay and squeezed a bed in a small roomGenuine Expedia guest review
"Right in the center of Brussels!"
Hotel has larger-than-expected rooms, with large bathrooms as well. Very comfortable, except for the temperature in the rooms - very hot! Slept with the windows opened, even though it was in the 40's. Staff is very professional, courteous and helpful. Guided us in the right direction for tours, train information, etc. Food service could be a little […] better - not a lot of variety and very expensive; however, there are LOTS of great restaurants within close walking distance. The location is just wonderful. A few steps from the train station and close to main attractions. I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, nice, spacious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful as well. You get a lot more for your money than you paid for. Highly recommend and I would stay here if I go back to Brussels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was very pleasant & accommodating and all spoke English. Excellent price for a Starwood hotel (Westin, Sheraton, etc). The lobby & bar area was quite nice & there was a comfortable sitting area where you could enjoy a drink & snacks while overlooking the plaza in front of the hotel. The bed was king sized & the room was a pretty decent size. […] Free wifi in lobby worked in my room for a day also, but had to pay 15 euros for another 24h. Prompt, friendly room service for dinner when my wife got sick & we had to stay in the room for a day. You can't beat the location of this hotel either. It is directly across from the Brussels Centraal train station (direct lines to Bruges & Charleroi Sud train station which connects by bus to the Charleroi airport) and you can walk the entire city center with many fine restaurants & chocolate shops along the way. This is the perfect hotel, close to grand place and all the activities. Across the street from the Train station. The room was great, super comfortable bed and large bathroom.
