Like the hotel and the surrounding location is good. The only thing I didn't like was that the person that help us was not cooperative. Other than that I do recommend it.

If you're looking for a deal, you might want to be sure to notice that the "resort" fee in the description is not included in the total price of your room. We were surprised to get the "RESORT" fee added to our card 2 or 3 days after checking out. Was this a resort? Maybe I missed something. I also missed the "mountain view."

The restaurant has open air seating facing the fabulous lake behind the hotel with the McCormick Ranch golf course on the other side of the lake. The pool is nice enough. The hotel is away from shops and restaurants, so you drive for everything. They claimed to have a driver, but he only works 3 hours a day, so if you aren't going to eat on his schedule, you will need a cab in one direction. The room, while clean and comfortable had numerous minor maintenance issues -- peeling wall paper, leaking faucets, cracked grout […] and so forth. We were in a room with a parking lot view and were told the lake rooms were all occupied when we asked to change. If they were occupied, they were occupied by people who don't know how to turn on a light, because 90% of them were dark each evening and the hotel was virtually empty. The real disappointment came upon checkout when we were charged a $20/night "Resort Fee" plus tax. This was charged to the credit card we had provided for incidentals and we were told it was for amenities such as wireless access (worked 3 nights of 4, and was advertised as complimentary) and use of the pool (which we didn't use). This was in addition to our full payment in advance including $104.41 in taxes and service fees. I recommend you seek other accommodations when your travels take you to Scottsdale, I assure you I will. Read more

The room looked old and small, I went to the bar and the service was aweful, the bartender was bad, i sat on a table and hed to go to the bar and get my own drink and ask for a menu, my chicken sandwich came out without the top part of the bun. I would not stay there again. Bad service at the bar.

I had a pleasant stay, the bar and restaurant area were nice. I think the room was nice but the comforters seemed a little cheap looking considering the rest of the hotel status. Everything else looked great, but it did look dated and older. I would however recommend staying here it is a very nice place.

I did not get the room that I paid for, I paid for a Superior, King bed, courtyard view and I got a basic double bed room with no Courtyard view. When I asked the lady at the desk what I had paid for, she gave me another room key to the Superior, King Bed, Courtyard view and I moved myself and daughter at 10 pm at night just to learn that the new room […] given to us was never cleaned from the previous night. Rooms were very dated. Carpets were very dirty. The bathroom was horrid and we had to take cold showers. We were moved to another room but it was the same old story and another day of cold showers. It was a complete joke. Sorry but this is Scottsdale and I expected more than what they have. No valet or help with the bags. Ordered a king with a view checked in at 3:30 got two doulbles with a parking lot. 20 minutes later they found a different room. Wonderful staff everyday! Very clean and peacful setting. Only pinch was they were out of regular coffee for room. It was not a problem since there was free coffee in the lobby every morning by 6am:)

This hotel has the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Normally in any hotel I wake up multiple times per night, but here I slept like the dead. If you're into cars, request a street side room. The noise is negligible, and watching the road from the balcony is practically a parade of high-end rollers. On the down side, you'll be charged fifty […] bucks a night on top of whatever you've already booked at to cover expenses. Don't use room service or order movies and you'll get it all back, but that's a non-trivial chunk of travel finances tied up for the duration of the stay. 3 night stay to play golf at Camelback (across the street). Spent 2 nights in first room and room had an odd odor. I spend over 100 room nights at hotels and it was odd. We loved our stay at the millenium. Our dinner was fabulous as we ate, relaxed and enjoyed the views of the lake. We were excited that we could swim in the heated pool in the beginning of November. We would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed at this hotel for one night but it was very pleasant. The only thing I didn't like was the $15 per day "resort fee". They need to include this in the price of the room so there are no surprises when you get your bill.

Our recent stay was wonderful especially since we had a room with a view facing the lake instead of the parking lot out front. The service and food (a dinner and a breakfast) in the hotel's restaurant was excellent. We also enjoyed our time in the swimming pool.

Our stay and our experience there at the resort was very, very dissadisfying and we were very un happy. Our room had no AC what so ever the maintence person was notified and came in and tried to fix even switced out the unit and still continued to blow out HOT AIR. We called the front desk and were told to give it some more time so we did at 11:30pm […] I ended up calling up to the fromt desk again because we just couldnt take the heat any longer we were all sweating like crazy as if we were in a sona. The lady then at the front desk moved us room and in doing so come morning we relized that we had left a few items in last room the guy at the front desk took us back to our room to look for items and hosekeeping had already came and cleaned up room so items were never retrived and housekeeping had been notified as well and said that items were not found in room. Me and my family were very disappointed in our stay there at the Millennium Scottsdale Resort and Villas I will never ever stay there again nor will i ever recommend this resort to anyone as well. The hotel is older however the general upkeep was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue was that the A/C unit didn't work and this the room was stuffy for our stay. We requested a new room, but the hotel was all booked up. The staff did get us a fan in order to make the room comfortable. Unfortunately with the A/C issue its doubtful […] we will go back. the first few nights were good... very quiet and peaceful. I had to move rooms because there were a bunch of people that checked in on my floor and it was nothing but loud adults, crying children and people arguing in the hall. Probably will not come back here... Once they re do the hotel and up their services then maybe I will return.

Hotel had great amenities including complementary puddle boats that you can take out on their lake, bicycles you can ride around the property, fishing equipment to use on the lake, and a wonderful pool.

The Hotel public space areas are very nice and most appear to have been renovated at some point. However, the room was very dated and could use some TLC. Very friendly desk clerk, who gave us a spectacular view over the pool looking onto the "lake" by the golf course. We had a very nice breakfast inside the restaurant.
