Expect filthy rooms with soiled furniture and carpets, dirty sheets and grimy bathrooms. Rust colored water came out of the faucets for a few minutes before it ran clear (room 1025). Oh, and enjoy the fact that your toilet flushes when anybody in the rooms above you flushes a toilet. Lastly, the constant roar of planes taking off is an added bonus.

We booked the hotel through this great website...but once we got there we realized that we were further from the heart of SF than we wanted to be. Rush hour traffic is horrible! For a few extra bucks per nite one would be much better off staying close to the heart of the city if that is ones intention to visit. We were not able to back out of reservations due to prepayment. The room was clean, beds comfortable, but we were placed in a handicap room with a funky shower and NO vanity. Even though the hotel is close to the airport, it was fairly quiet. Parking is available...but not free!!

You're better off saving money and staying at a Motel 6 or Super 8...whatever those cheap ones are called. Definitely overpriced and angry about my stay.

Excellent Staff, very accomodating. I had a plumbing issue in my room and I was moved to another room which to my suprise was a very nice upgrade and without any hassles. I booked this hotel for a fun San Francisco weekend trip. Even though it is at the airport, I had a very good experience 7 years ago with this same hotel when I had to be in the city away from home having major cancer surgery. The Clarion comped a room for my out of town family while I was in the hospital. What a great hotel. I will definately book with them again. Yes, you do have to pay extra for parking but for the total $ spent it is a great deal.

This was a very good hotel. The room was clean and spacious and the hotel itself felt relatively new, though it probably wasn't. The noise level was pretty quiet considering how close to the airport we were. You could hear the planes, but it sounded more like street traffic and not bothersome. My room was on the courtyard side facing the pool. The airport shuttle was shared with the Westin (next door) and comes every 20 minutes - very convenient. It is also within a 10-15 minute walk from the Millbrae train station where you can catch CalTrain and the BART. The train station is across from In and Out Burger, apparently one of the best burger joints in the country. The downside is the expensive in house cafe (but I walked 10-15 minutes to El Torritos which was just as expensive). Also, there is not much around that area. Overall, convenient, well-priced and nice.
