"Not friendly at all"
The least friendly hotel staff I have ever encountered. They told me nothing about the hotel at check in. On check out, they said nothing, except, "you're done". The water pressure was horrible and the toilet would not flush. The front desk did not answer when we called. The ice machine was broken. The pool is cool. Whirl pool was shut down.

This hotel was perfect for attending a couple of Reds games and also taking in some of the sights of downtown Cincinnati. For what I paid, I was satisfied, but if I had had to pay rack rate, I would have been disappointed. It's a great hotel - for $100/night. Highly recommend!

The floors and walls had stains on them. We asked for another room, the new room was smaller, less stains on the floor and a few on the walls. The hotel is very much in need of renovations. The lines at the desk were ridiculously long with very few people working.

"Worst stay ever"
This weekend was a horrible experience We didn't check in until 10pm and their was only one person behind the desk who was talking to a bunch of ladies that came from the bar in the hotel.I was the only one in line and had two kids.It took over 20 minutes for him to dismiss the ladies and check me in.Then we go to our floor and the overwhelming smell of pot engulfed us.We called down to the desk and they put me on hold.I advise them of the pot smell and how I didn't need my kids sucking that in.They said they were going to send security but they sent a maid with Air Freshener and she just sprayed the hall.During this time I couldn't get the remote control to work so we called down for service.The service guys were up in our room within 10 minutes.They couldn't get the tv to work either (after 20 minutes) so they went to get parts.At 12:30am they knocked on our door with the part.Almost an hour after my initial call.Then they came in while my kids were asleep, put the piece in, sat on the bed and tried to work it.Finally 20 minutes later they left.Very disappoint in the service and care of this hotel during the later hours. The room was decent but not great, the wallpaper was coming off in the bathroom and you could see mold. They also used a ton of caulk to cover other problems around the tub.Also when you check out make sure you check out early or be willing to walk the stairs.Everytime we stay it takes a half-hour (no joke) to get an elevator down from the south tower.

Bathtubs wouldn't drain, one bed had a Baggie filled with water in it so that tells me that the sheets weren't changed. Breakfast that's a whole story the buffet bar smelled of fish and the eggs tasted like fish, there was a wrapper from the bacon still attached to the fine bacon, the plain yogurt was rotten, and last but not least one of the cups had a brown spot inside it. Felt sorry for the waitress! Not one to usually say anything about a restaurant but WOW!!!!

"No frills"
The hotel was in the perfect location for our trip, walking distance to great american ballpark, a short shuttle ride from the hyatt across the street to the casino and a short drive to the boat tour we took. The room itself left a bit to be desired the tv reception was terrible, the room needs updating and the shower head left alot to be desired. There is a bar/restaurant, valet is available but park in the garage right next door to save some money, the pool looked nice but was completely packed so we didn't go swimming. The hotel was good enough for our weekend trip but we didn't spend much time there other than sleeping.

"Great deal for a downtown hotel"
The Millennium is downtown a great deal compared to the other hotels. It is very close to the stadiums (6-8 blocks) so a perfect place to stay before a game. The rooms are a bit dated. They did have the old air conditioner musty smell, but it wasn't overwhelming and you soon got used to it. The rooms have a decent view and were comfortably appointed. The linens and towels were a higher blend than cheaper hotels, beds and pillow comfortable and everything was very clean. Almost unheard of they have an outdoor pool. A real pool, with a deep end and lounge chairs and looked like they have a grill area near the pool, but I am not sure that they used it since we left before lunch time. The only negative was the person who checked us in was a little snitty and not very helpful when asking about parking. Valet parking was $27 with in/out privileges or you can self park right next door for $5 every 8 hours (weekend rates), which is a steal. They are also about 7 minutes drive to the casino. We will definitely plan another trip and stay there.

"What a DUMP!!!!"
THIS PLACE IS A DUMP!!!! I was in room 1000. Cigarette burns on the toilet seat and floor in front of it. Towel bar pulled out of the wall. Moldy grout in shower. Bottom of tub stained a dingy brown. Have you guys heard of bleach!? Drain in tub completely corroded! No strainer left, just a hole. I didn't know what a hard lumpy mattress was until I laid in this one! My dog has a bed more comfortable!!!!! AC so loud it kept me up all night as it cycled on and off every few minutes. Room was just overall filthy!! I had Friday and Saturday nights reserved and paid for (non refundable) but left first thing Saturday morning. There was no way my girlfriend and I were staying there any longer!!! Bottom line is, if you plan on just getting drunk and need a place to pass out where it doesn't matter if you throw up on the floor. This is the place for you!! IF YOUR OUT WITH YOUR LADY OR KIDS FIND SOMEPLACE ELSE!!!!! I feel I was completely deceived by the 3.5 star rating! This place isn't worth one star!!!! The management and staff of this hotel should be discussed by the quality of the rooms they put guest in!!

"It was good."
Overall, the hotel was great. But this is a big hotel that has a lot of rooms so we had to wait for an elevator quite a while (7-8 minutes) after check in and before check out. Also, this hotel needs a plumbing work. Water doesn't go down quickly when taking shower. You should expect that dirty water would be up to your ankle while you take shower.

"Good stay"
The lobby of the hotel was beyond filthy but the room was clean. The beds were small but a good sleep. The bathroom was clean also & we were able to get our beds made when we were out during the day.

"ok if you book for right price."
Parking was an issue because Valet was full and they didn't tell you until you got out of the car. There is a parking garage next to hotel but a bit of a walk. Located in the heart of downtown so you do have traffic. but lots of resturants within walking distance. roof top pool was nice.

"DO NOT STAY HERE!!"
Would never stay here again. Hotel needs major renovations done to it as it is very old. AC was not working in the hotel lobby or anywhere outside your room. Door to our room was jammed and hard to open. Front desk clerks were less than hospitable and acted annoyed when you checked in. Very bad experience!

"Great staff, bad rooms"
For what the nightly fee was, I was expecting something a bit bigger and nicer. The hotel needs to be updated. The beds were a bit small and they squeaked every time somebody moved in them. The morning we were going to leave, I noticed that the frame legs holding the bed up was bent and looked like they were liable to break at any given moment. The hallway leading up to our room stunk which should have been my first clue. The staff was very friendly though and I'm all about customer service. My youngest had a toothache and the night front desk staff walked up some salt so that I could rinse his mouth. I just wish the room would have been more up to my standard. I didn't want to drag my family around from room to room as we had a long day by the time we checked in, but my best advice is to stay elsewhere!

We stayed one night at this hotel, while in town for a sports event. Parts of the hotel are outdated. Our room was small, but it was fine for one night and it was just my husband and I. The room was clean for the most part, but I felt the carpet was old and sticky. The room was stuffy and a little smelly too. We visited the bar while here and the bartender was friendly. However, it felt grimy. The only other complaint was waiting a while for valet to get our car. It felt like it took unusually long. We probably won't be back, but it was a decent place for the price.

"incidental charges...."
Just know that they charge your credit card a $50.00 "incidental fee" upon arrival. If you do not have any fees, it can take 2 - 3 days to refund. I hope they are correct in this time frame. I can honestly say that I never have been charged up front, usually they keep the card on file and charge it if needed. I can't help but feel it is a money making scheme for them.

"It was decent but will not be staying here again"
The location is great and very convenient to restaurants and Great American Ballpark, which we walked to. The check-in process was quick and easy, parking was conveniently close, but the condition of the hotel is not up to par. It's definitely an older hotel now, the elevator was pretty slow, and the hallways smelled horribly, and the carpet in the hallway was very wet. The rooms were normal in size but the bathroom was very outdated and it just seemed a bit dingy. We had the air conditioner set to 60 degrees but it was still pretty stuffy in the room. The television did not work part of the time and had very few channels. The pool was nice, even though it was crowded and it was very nice to have a poolside bar and free iced water cooler. Overall, we were disappointed by the quality of the place and will not be staying here again.

"On a budget?"
Can't beat the price for a downtown hotel. However if cleanliness and comfort is super important this place is not for you. We normally stay at the westin a few blocks away and that place is 5's across the board. Staff was friendly and the outdoor pool was nice for the kids.

"Nice hotel"
This hotel was not too bad for the price. It was not a four star by any means but it wasn't awful. I enjoyed being on the 20th floor. Great views. Rooms were nice. Lobby was dirty but I won't hold that against them. It has the potential to be a 4 star with some cleaning.

I stayed in North Tower on a higher floor. Staffs are friendly and helpful! The room is clean and room condition is good! The only down fall is the hallways are too warm. The air conditioning in the room works well.

"Overnight mid-week stay."
Overnight stay with 5yr old in order to take early morning Amtrak (Cardinal) to Alexandria, VA. Hotel was accommodating by allowing us a noon check-in vice waiting until normal 4:00pm check-in. Excellent view from the 21st floor room facing 5th Street. Liked the fact that taxis were readily available for early morning departure to Union Station ($9 fare). Would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Easy 1-hr mid-day drive from Dayton, Ohio.

Would not recommend this hotel. The room did not look clean and there were numerous homeless people in the lobby asking for money. None of the employees seemed to care that there were people begging for money in there hotel as no one asked them to leave. Also, they will charge you 27.00 for parking overnight. Overall this hotel was awful!

"Great Location, Price and Room Comfort -"
Great location. Great amenities, however be aware the hotel will charge you in additional to the Room rate $150.00 Deposit and also $50.00 per day for incidentals. YOU are also required to have a Credit Card, not a debit card. These are some important information that should be told at time of booking. I asked at the front desk and not only did I get a vague explanation, but my card was re-authorized the second night. A total charge pending on my Credit Card was $1056 for a Rate booked of $328 for the entire stay. It was done in error as they claim. But never got an apology. Other than that, I would still stay again as I like the Hotel all in all.
