"memorial day weekend"
Boyfriend & i live in Cincinnati, did a little "stay cation " went to reds game & dinner in downtown Cincinnati, swam in pool at hotel... staff could have been friendlier & more helpful, phone didn't work in room, i kept calling from my cell & kept being put through to a voicemail, tried to order room service & again went to voicemail... don't think […] they weee prepared for busy weekend... pool very nice... "Good location, but that's about it."
Positives: good location, outdoor pool with comfortable lounge chairs, okay price, great customer service: our check-in associate was very friendly and funny; negatives: lacked basic amenities such as a mini fridge, multiple towels and pillows accessible in the room, lacked robes, poor view (of the top/roof of a building).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"This Hotel Needs a Major Upgrade"
This hotel has outdated furnishings, hard beds and just a general feeling and smell of "old." Wi-fi is $8 a day extra. Rooms are very small. Staff was helpful and generous.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
All good but urine on the toilet seat and toothpaste on the sink upon arrival. Clearly did not clean the bathroom.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location but the Hotel is a mess!"
When you walk in you think Wow this is beautiful. But the min you get off the elevator its a different story. Drywall falling down, stains all over the carpet, and lots of staining on the ceilings. The water in our bathtub would not drain. It was pretty gross. The room was very dirty. The windows were dirty. I would not stay there again. The staff was […] not friendly at all. "Okay I guess."
Staff was really nice, although seemed understaffed. Found a hairball in the shower eew! Toilet made this awful noise every time it was flushed. Probably will opt for a different hotel next trip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
For the price for a one night stay, it seems that a micro wave and refridgerator would have been included!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel did it's job - have us a place to shower and sleep, but that was about the only good thing. Our room was right next to a construction site where men were banging hammers at 7 in the morning on a Saturday. There was also a faulty air conditioner unit running that made a horrible loud clanking noise non-stop. We were right next to some kids […] who had been parting all night and decided to slam their doors and make a ton of noise at 3:30 in the morning. When I called the front desk to go take care of it - it still didn't stop. The area around the hotel did not se safe or clean. It felt very ghetto. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"within walking distance of the great american park"
For the price and the hype not impressed. The ice machine was broken on our floor and at 11pm didn't want to go looking for one. There was and extra charge on our bill and had to go take care of that. When checking in at about 4pm there was a long wait and only one person was at the desk then after a while a couple of more went in. Parking is confusing. The […] staff that we dealt with were nice and helpful. Kudos to them. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very close to ballpark and stadium - great locatio"
For as pricey as the hotel was - I was a little bit disappointed. Wasn't the nicest, but could have been worse as well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was out dated. A newly renovated Hyatt was across the street and wish I book there instead. Valet was so slow My original room smelled like an old smokers room, so I had to switch. Overall, I was very disappointed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location, Not Great Hotel"
Pro: - Location - Staff was ok - Tv was modern, good cable selection Cons: - felt old and rundown. The only way this can be 4 stars is due to bullet points on an amenity sheet, not real life. - hairs and stains in bedding and on towels, obviously not changed between guest stays. - got an orange soda out of the vending machine. Exp Date: 2007. - Comically […] small pillows (airplane sized) - unfinished furnishings, reminded me of cheap IKEA beds and desks. Mattress showing from under (non fitted) sheets - next time I would spend the extra $20-30/night and stay down the street at the Weston or Hilton. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
My boys loved watching the construction of the addition next door but if waking up to construction noises at 6 am might bother you I'd suggest staying somewhere else or at least at the opposite side of the hotel until the are finished.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great view of Cincinnati"
We got in around midnight and Cincinnati was awake. It was nice to see that.Genuine Expedia guest review
"First night terrible...next night fine"
The room we were given was right above construction work being done on a parking garage below. The pounding, banging and yelling continued from 4am on. It was impossible to sleep. I did go to the desk the next morning and was given a new room and the staff was very pleasant. I did ask that I be compensated for the disaster the night before. The manager […] said he would have to contact Expedia for the refund for Fri night. I haven't heard anything from the hotel or from Expedia. The room cost me 107 doallars plus tax so it wasn't cheap. Just very disappointed. I work in customer service and I would have been all over this for a customer. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Inconsistent-Too many goods and bads"
I'll start with the good- great location especially if you're going to a reds/bengals game it's within walking distance, room was fine nothing to complain about here, and the hotel bar/restaurant area is nice to hang out at The bad- the worst kept gym I've seen at a decently known hotel (many of the machines either didn't work or hadn't been maintained […] at all), the 25/day parking, obviously it's a downtown hotel so parking is limited but at least be aware of this (I thought it was a little steep), and wifi for a lot more than a couple bucks (I still can't fathom why hotels continue to charge for this in today's age, either build it into the price of the room so I don't feel appalled paying that price for crappy internet or make it free). Overall I think this hotel is fine, and for the right price the location is worth it, but don't expect anything to knock your socks off. If you're here for a game and aren't going to be spending a ton of time in the hotel this place is probably for you, otherwise do some homework Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"just better than ok"
everything about the hotel was okay the bathroom is a little bit dated and it had the sink plug pulled out aside from that everything else was just about alright the pet policy is not accurate it states that there's just a $100 deposit but when you try to check in they let you know that only $65 is refundable there's a $35 fee they charge for cleaning […] no matter what. "Old but adequate."
Long lines to get checked in. People walking around lobby with beer bottles. Hotel is old & dingy. Wifi expensive & not included.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our biggest complaint was that there are no refrigerators in the hotel rooms. They are clearly making an effort to renovate all over the hotel and the location is perfect.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good hotel with good location"
The line for check-in and check-out was incredible long. If you don't want to pay for parking at the hotel (almost $22 ), one block down there is a public parking lot that cost 5 dollars 12 hrs.Genuine Expedia guest review
"2 hours to check in"
Terrible they had 3 people trying to check in 300 or more we spent 4 hours in the lobby waiting in line to get a key to our room along with 300 othersGenuine Expedia guest review
"nice place but took one hour to check in."
Was pleased with stay. It's a nice place, pretty lobby, had nice view of a beautiful downtown. Downside is they were booked full and we had to wait in line one hour to check in. Almost ruined our evening plans. Wondering why they weren't better preapred to process the check ins.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Construction on building next door"

"Nice, but no warning of 6:30am construction noise!"
The hotel was in a great walking-distance location for getting to the ball field which was the purpose of our stay. The hotel restaurant was nice for dinner & not too pricy. Check-in went smoothly & our room was nice. The beds seemed smaller than a full size, but I could be wrong. However, it was the WORST nights sleep I've ever gotten in a hotel! We […] were VERY disappointed to be woke at 6:30 on a Saturday morning because there was very loud construction going on right outside our window. If we'd have known about it we would've used ear plugs to help us be able to sleep. It was SO loud there was NO WAY to go back to sleep once it started. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great location - still needs some updates"
It's a nice hotel in a great location. Clean room with comfortable bed. Good staff. My only complaint is heating system. Very old, noisy heating unit like you would find in a much cheaper hotel. The rest of the place seemed updated so I was very surprised.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Too many surprises!"
Every staff member we spoke to was very friendly. They care about their hotel. Our problems were with the building. Our "smoke free" room smelled so strong (from smoke or mold we aren't sure) it caused our allergies to kick into high gear. We were frustrated with all of the added charges. When we checked in we were told we did not need to leave a credit […] card on file because we had prepaid. But when we asked where to park - we were told about the $25 a night charge. That is fine - we had a car - but tell us in advance. When we were in the room and turned on the lap top to check out restaurants we found the $7.95 a day charge for 24 hours of Internet service - fine, just tell us in advance. The 24 hours only lasted 12 hours before we were no longer able to log in. The hotel did remove that charge from our bill - which was nice. We found the elevator doors did not always open when we reached the lobby - so we used the "open door" button - a little unnerving. Our last night one elevator was out of service. We started one morning at 5:30 to the sound of construction outside of our room - we understand that construction needs to happen but would have liked a head's up! It was interesting watching the giant concrete pour! Our bill was incorrect when we went to check out - it was fixed right away but didn't add to our impression. The room was small but serviceable for our needs. The lighting was very poor. This was a disappointing experience. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Opening day 2014"
Our stay was really nice. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was ready when we arrived and they allowed us to keep our car in valet until after the game. Great time!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I've stayed at better...alot better..."
I thought that the staff at front desk were very nice. The room was where the main issues were. The door to the bathroom was practically falling off the hinges not to mention the fact that a huge piece had broken off the left side. Shower seemed to be lacking in the hot water department. Bed had pillows that were more like travel pillows, only about […] the half the size of a real pillow. Bed seemed very bouncy more as though I was sleeping on a pull-out bed. Overall, a restless sleep and a not very refreshing stay. I've stayed in better. If you have the option of another hotel, I'd pick a different one. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Sheets looked like they had not been changed. Bathroom not clean. Old place needs money to fix up but you're already paying your housekeepers so clean the room! I won't be back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Yapping Dog and substandard rooms"
Next door to me was a dog that spent 30 minutes straight yapping loudly and scratching at the door. I finally went downstairs and asked to be moved. They did as I set my phone on the counter and played the recording from my room of the yapping rat dog. When I moved into my new room, it did not have the feel of a clean room. I never took my shoes off […] as the smell reminded me of a overstuffed vacuum and burnt rubber smell. Although I was warned of construction, it started so early that we checked out way before we planned and left. I will never stay here again as it is not worth the price you have to pay. Especially when there are hotels all around. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Dirty Linens. Rude staff."
Upon arrival I inspected the bed linens as I usually do as you can't be too careful with bed bugs these days. When glancing at the pillows I found that the pillow cases looked possibly stained. When I looked closer, these pillow cases were straight dirty from the last guests. They had make up on both sides. Make up does not stain, these were simply […] dirty. GROSS! After calling for housekeeping they shortly came to the door. The housekeeping staff was very rude. She barked to show her this dirt then proceeded to throw the dirty pillow cases on my luggage before she finished and stormed out of the room. RUDE! I was so not impressed! Among this issue, the room in general was rather gross. I was very dissapointed with this stay and will not choose Milennium in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Looks better from the lobby"
This hotel was OK. It was impressive when you first came in. The staff was friendly for the most part (there was a rather rude valet). Everything was overpriced, but that was to be expected. The true disappointment was the room. It was small and uncomfortable. The walls had some visible cracking going on. The bed was uncomfortable. There was no wifi […] (seriously Millennium? The 1990's called and wanted their lack of technology back). Also the cable was terrible. There were very few channels and the pay-per-view stuff was horribly disappointing. Several of the pay-per-view movies that were being advertised weren't even available to rent and the interface was not intuitive at all and it seemed to back out for no reasons at all. "May have been nice once."
The lobby was barren, the shop fronts were vacant, the ballroom and meeting rooms were empty. It seemed like a ghost of what was once a nice facility. We had no information in our room about the hotel, its facilities, or neighboring attractions. The TV reception reminded me of the days of rabbit ears and aluminum foil. The phone by the bed didn't work […] and during a three night stay never got fixed. The in-wall heating/cooling unit was loud and cycled between too hot and too cold. The bathroom was broom closet sized. On the up side, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were far better than the industrial strength pillows we have come to expect from hotels. And the fitness room was decent sized and well appointed. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
