This hotel was old and needs alot of updating the headboard had holes in it the furniture was old and dingy. The television was old no flat screen. I will never stay at this hotel again.

This is an older motel and it does have maintenance issues, however, our room was clean and we didn't have any complaints. The staff was also friendly and courteous.

I had read other reviews and was a little leery. Once we arrived we were greeted by a friendly staff who recomended a great restaurant for us just down the road. Our room was clean and quiet. Just what we wanted. I do not have any complaints about this hotel I would stay here again.

I travel often, in and outside of the country and don't require 'fancy' at all but at least CLEAN!! My room was not clean at all. Left over coffee in the pot, the rug had not been vaccuumed and the bathroom I cleaned before using. I don't recommend staying here, ever!

All around bad stay. First room I got the a/c didn't work. Nobody there to work on so got moved to a few rooms down. Used soap and washcloth still in tub. Trash not emptied, room not vaccumed. Should have spent the extra money and stayed closer to Kings Dominion.

The family and I just needed a place to sleep. We were at the half way point in an 18 hour drive. (Acually we had only six more hours to go). Anyway this hotel was a great relief. My girls enjoyed the pool. However, the shower didn't work and the beds were too hard and sheets too stiff. I am going to leave out the free breakfeast. Cheap 2 night stay for Kings Dominion. Not the cleanest place I have every stayed. I don't think I would stay there again. Could be a nice place with a bit of work. I also believe that there were some families living there.

You had a ticket and had to wait in a long line for one plate of food. This Is the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Even my children were grossed out. The bath tub was filthy. The pool was the nicest option. The breakfast staff were pleasant. Breakfast was good for free. I cut my leg on the bed frame as it was extended from the bed. Room 119 is the worst!

We have stayed in other hotels in Ruther Glen VA, I will say we were pleasantly susprised at how nice this hotel was. The staff was terrific, the rooms were neat and clean. Would recommend this hotel if asked

We needed a room that was dog friendly and near Richmond, VA. The room was clean (enough), the staff was friendly, and it included a delicious hot breakfast! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it. It's obviously not a 5 star hotel but it certainly met our needs, exceeded our expectations, and wasn't skeevy.

we had toilet issues- told maintenence and they handed my husband a plunger! Our bathroom door would not shut all the way. Clock was broke in room.

If you are staying for a short period of time this hotel may be okay. I would not recommend if you have children, it is not the cleanest place we've ever stayed. We stayed for two nights to go to Kings Dominion and for that reason it served its purpose. Otherwise it would not be our first choice.

Room smelled like smoke, although it was a "non-smoking" room. Tub stained or dirty. Broken grill at breakfast, so selections were limited. overall disappointing.
