The stay was okay. It was on par with what I expected. The only thing I could complain about is the parking. I came back to Hotel room late at night and there was no parking available. Otherwise, the people were nice and the room wasn't too bad considering.

I reserved a king size bed but was given a room with double beds.the sales person said that booking online does not guarantee the room you requested. It took us forever to find the motel using our GPS. We finally called the hotel and the gentleman talked us "in" to the motel. The huddle house restaurant that is located beside/with the motel was/is HORRIBLE!! The "waitress" needs an attitude adjustment! My wife and I just stayed overnight for an event at Patriots Point. The rooms were clean, except for some mold behind the toilet. The beds were comfy, plenty of pillows. The price was great compared to others in Charleston.

we asked for a non-smoking room and, although it didn't reek of smoke, you could tell folks had smoked in it previously. for the price, the room didn't surprise me so it was worth the price, but not more. the staff tried to take care of rowdy and loud middle of the night guests and ended up calling the police. i don't think that's anything the hotel […] could've prevented. the location was very convienent. My family and I went to my wifes college reunion 11/2-11/4. We normally do not complain about hotels, HOWEVER, when we returned from seeing friends throughout the day to our room it smelled like WEED. Yes, that is right, the first night and the second night. I complained the second night to the operator in regards to the smell and they even called the […] police. We spent most of our night with the door open with our kids in the room. It gets better, upon leaving we left our backpack and pillow behind. I don't mind the pillow, but the backpack had things that are hard to replace. They gave us hard time just trying to see if it was there. We had to wait for housekeeping. Who has to wait for housekeepers to see if left property behind. What happened to the managers in charge?, they hardly assisted us in finding our property. After repeatedly calling back for my property, they said they would call me back "if" they find it. THEY NEVER CALLED - I had to call them again just to get in touch with someone. Now we have to have our property shipped back to us (SC to NJ) Lesson learned, buy cheap buy twice. If you are looking to stay at this hotel, be advised there are 4-6 hotels in this area. I would recommened staying at one of the other locations. Read more

To be fair, we knew this was a budget hotel and did not expect royal, multi-star accommodations. However, several things were just unacceptable for ANY hotel, no matter what the price range. First, the room was advertised as nonsmoking, but the bedding and certain parts of the room definitely had a stale, "tried to wash it out" cigarette smoke smell. […] Also, the walls were relatively thin, which did not provide as restful a night's sleep as we'd have liked for either of the two nights we stayed. Finally (and because of those thin walls), we were rudely awakened early on both mornings by the VERY loud sound of housekeeping carts rolling up and and down the walkways and a LEAF BLOWER right next to our window. At one point the man operating it actually blew into our window!! This would have been understandable if it were 10 or 11 a.m., but this was at 7:30-8:00 in the morning! I stay here several times a year. The hotel staff were very nice and fast about checking in and out like always. If I could change one thing, it would be that you offer coffee to your guests in the morning besides the "make it yourself...just a taste at best...not very good coffee in the room" or the "Huddle House...pay two dollars......and wait forever […] for refills". I end up crossing the road and heading across the street to the gas station half asleep. So Please....consider putting in a coffee pot in your lobby...... a really BIG one. Thanks Read more
