What a great experience at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in recommending places to go and see. The only downside to this hotel was that it probably has the worst gym and workout facility of any place we stayed in New Zealand. This could be a world class hotel with upgrades to these facilities.

"Very stuffy and smelly"

Hotel would have been fine, if it was not stuffy. The carpet in the hallway smells really bad. Need more ventilation. Hotel should probably replace their old carpet. I read similar reviews about this hotel, but I didn't take the stuffiness seriously. I should've listened. Another improvement would be free internet access. That's a big plus for visitors like me.

This hotel completely exceeded our expectation. The room was fantastic, and the hotel wonderful. Highly reccomend this hotel.
