It's the little things that sway opinions about a hotel stay. The room is clean, the location is in walking distance to the space needle. It's pricy but that's not my qualm. My beef with this hotel is twofold. 1. I called before booking the hotel and one hour after booking the hotel that I needed two pack and plays or cribs for the stay. I called again […] to confirm two days prior to my trip. Again upon check-in I reminded the front desk attendant that we needed two pack and plays...several hours later, after returning from downtown Seattle, no pack an plays. We called the front desk and the new attendant, an aloof, prissy redhead in her early 20s gave some excuse that Expedia screwed up the order (it's Hotels.com and this was a request made outside of here)....don't make excuses, don't give me attitude, just apologize and send them up (send them up they did but your front desk attendants represent you...she does a poor job of it). 2. The next morning, at we went down to eat our continental breakfast, on the large screen TV in the dining area, volume raised, was Fox News. Come on! You're going to force feed this channel to everyone in the dining area in Liberal Seattle? Who decides this? At best this channel is divisive, at worst it's right wing propaganda...either way I resent having to listen to this garbage over breakfast. I won't stay here again. Like I said, it's the little things that nix this hotel, but for $184.83 a night, show some common sense. Read more

There was a leak somewhere in the bathroom ~ we think it was coming from the shower b/c after a shower there was quite a bit of water on the floor & it would run from tub around toilet out to sink area. Don't be turned off by the outside appearance of this hotel. The inside is much more updated and is a quite pleasing space. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. You are within walking distance to many of the major sites in Seattle and if you aren't up for walking, there are several bus stops nearby. We were pleasantly surprised about the quick walking distance to the Space Needle and the EMP. Also, we really enjoyed the breakfast, size of the King Suite and the friendliness of staff. The room was very clean. We'd stay here again. Only downside, wish there was a pool.

La Quinta is a very nicely upgraded older hotel in an excellent location. It is within walking distance to many of Seattle's attractions. The quality and cleanliness of the rooms is very, very good. Free WiFi, free parking, and complementary breakfast are nice bonuses. The service is excellent. We would stay there again.

We spent five nights at the hotel, choosing it primarily because it was about one mile from a relative's home. It was a very pleasant stay, with a spacious room and bathroom, and a nice and accommodating stay. The free parking was an added benefit, but the parking spaces were difficult to get into.

All in all it was great, my only complaint is that the carpets were in need of a good cleaning; our white socks were brown after walking around the room for while and that the parking was challenging.

The hotel is a bargain considering its downtown location (a short walk to the Jazz Alley). Our room was clean and quiet. The staff are friendly, helpful, and accessible. We'll definitely stay there again.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The location is very convienient to sights, Convention Center and Seattle Center. After we parked our car we never used it the whole days. Very nice to have free parking, only 52 spots, first come first serve. The room was clean and very comfortable, nice to have a sofa to sit on, noise was not a problem, TV channels […] were limiting. Glad we had good books for the evening. Our main dissapointment was in the breakfast offering, fresh fruit was not too fresh, apples were soft. Cold hard boiled eggs were in a pile (how fresh?) too much refined and processed food, like; belgium waffles, lots of "white" offerings with sweet rolls, breads, biscuits and processed sausage/gravy, and Yami yougurt-loaded with sugar. this place is awful, we let the front desk we'd be checking in late as we were driving cross country and wouldn't make it by check in time. when we arrived there was a young kid working,the location has no parking available except a few spaces up front, and a garage with a 7 foot clearance, our truck was higher than that. the kid told us to park on […] street because it's free until 8am. so after arriving at 2am, i'd have to check out 4hrs earlier since they don't have parking to accommodate. the kid was insensitive to our situation and basically implied it was our problem not his. very displeased with the location as we've had great service at other locations for this hotel. wouldn't recommend hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. First, I was greeted with a smile and genuinely felt welcome at check-in. Check-in was fast and informative. The lobby is very nicely appointed, including upscale furnishings, a wall aquarium, and a large, inviting computer lounge. I even found myself touching the tile by the elevator (it is so pretty and […] looks like fabric). Our room was just as nicely furnished with a wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows. I actually thought that it might be just as if not more comfortable than my mattress at home! The location is also great. There is a park right next to the hotel. There are restaurants and a Whole Foods market just 1/2 block away. The Highway is not difficult to reach if you are driving and parking is free. I forgot a personal hygiene item and it was supplied again with a smile. In the morning on my way past the front desk to breakfast, I was greeted again by a different employee but with the same welcoming smile and willingness to be of any help to me. Garage fills up quick which is located around the block. Upon checking in, there is no place to park. Heater in the room looks like it was installed in 1920. Room didn't keep warm at all. The kids working the front desk needed some customer service training. Location is great

Staying at the LaQuinta Inn Seattle was great for our trip. We were able to walk to the Space Needle, Paramount Theater and Pike's Market. However, we did take a cab back from Pike's Market because it was a little far to walk back after walking around all day. The room was large, comfortable and affordable. We had a great time in Seattle.

Absolutely the best value in Seattle. The staff, the room, the bed, sheets and room comfort. Better than continental breakfast. And then there was the convenience of the location. Walking distance to neat cafes, space needle, Chihully musuem, Enterprise and Budget rental cars and short cab ride to Pike Public Market. Sweet!

Excellent location. Close to Seattles sites: convention center, tourist sites, pubs, and restaurants. This hotel was quiet, which is a must a must for business travelers. Staff was great too.

Room was wonderful and clean. Fluffy linens and choices of pillow were a bonus. The continental breakfast was convenient and more than just your average pastry, coffee, and piece of fruit. Loved the make it yourself waffles. A block down the road was a Whole Foods market and a trolley to the Westlake shopping area, which was also where the light rail […] transit to the SeaTac Airport was. The Space Needle, Chihuly Glass (OMG!) Museum, and Music Experience was about 1/2 mile or so walk. The area was relatively quiet and just a tad away from the downtown chaos. Steps away from the hotel was a yoga studio and asian restaurant with a McDonald's a few blocks up the road too. Staff were friendly. This is a pet friendly hotel, but I didn't have any issues. Since this was a more affordable hotel (love it!), there were several athletic student groups staying, so you always had folks around and didn't feel isolated. Would definitely come back again.
