"Great hotel at an awesome price"
Great price, location and staff are all very pleasant. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious with nice updating. We had 2 rooms. One room with a king bed in a separate room and a spacious, comfortable living room. The other room had 2 double beds and was very comfortable also. The free parking was a bonus too! The only problem we encountered […] was the unpleasant odor of urine in one of the rooms near one the beds. We mentioned it the first night we stayed and the staff offered to put us in a different room. We declined only because we had so much to move and were too tired but I regretted that decision. When we first checked into the room, the window had been left open, probably because the odor was noticeable after the last guests left. We lit a candle to freshen it up which was effective, checking with the front desk first of course! The next day, someone came to check out the odor, not realizing we were still there one more night. They also gave us some airfreshener to use. Can't complain too much though because it is a pet friendly hotel so it could always be a possible problem. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Great, clean hotel. Close to Space Needle. I would stay again and would recommend to anyone.Genuine Expedia guest review
Visit was short so, but everything was OK. Liked the underground parkingGenuine Expedia guest review
"it was dark"
the room is very small and outdated. it was dark they don't have enough lights. the walls are thin you cam hear others. bed was comfortable. if your looking for a good free breakfast don't stay here, they barley had anything!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall not so bad. Kind of dodgy across the way.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good location, very friendly staff"
Stayed here for two nights with three adults and two small children. Beds were fine but the rollaway which had a $10 additional charge was very uncomfortable with springs sticking out - a hard floor was more comfortable. Location is great and price is about as cheap as it gets for the area. Staff were very helpful and polite.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We came for our 1st anniversary and to see the Supercross races at Centurylink Park. Totally enjoyed our stay, you were so centrally located to all the tourist things we wanted to do. Though your hotel is very aged, it is also very clean and nice and your hotel staff was great, with a BIG KUDO to Nate!!!! What a great young man he is...always smiling, […] courteous and full of local information and direction. HE'S A KEEPER!!!!! Only draw back was there were two groups of young people staying at the same time....very noisy....doors opening and closing and banging (they turned their locks out, so could enter and exit easily without swiping) into late into the night, early morning! They weren't loud with their voices, just doors slamming constantly and continuously trying our "shared" door :( . We paid the same price, so were a bit disappointed that we couldn't get a good nights sleep while they were there....we we're on vacation. That aside, I guess we would stay there again, because of your central location and staff....Recommendation.....keep groups like that together on floors or in pods close to one another. Keep them away from other paying guests and remind them that there are other people staying as well and to mind their manners. Also would like to see bagels on your morning menu...though was a nice morning walk to the space needle where they had wood fired fresh bagels for $1.... Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Stayed here before and will stay here again. It's two miles from Safeco, but it's a nice walk before and after sitting at a game for 3+ hrs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Zak to check-out Seattle"
Excellent place to stay for the price. Parking a little shaky, but otherwise great!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Close proximity to everything great in Seattle made for our best vacation ever!!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Final Destination"
The room and breakfast were great. Parking was a bit difficult. If you had more than a compact car you could have been in trouble trying to fit in any of the spaces. Even in our small car we had difficulties. Otherwise, a great night!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A pleasant surprise"
We needed a place that would allow our two dogues and offered free parking in downtown Seattle. It was only for one night so I chose the hotel on price and those two conditions. The room was beautifully appointed, clean and very comfortable. The king bed was like sleeping on a cloud and even the pillows (of varying softness) were comfy. I highly recommend […] this hotel, especially if one is traveling with a canine companion. There is a wonderful park directly across from the hotel that makes fido's necessary trips very convenient. The only slightly negative comments I can make are that there is a vague unpleasant odor in the halls and parking is a little tricky due to the less than generous parking space size. Otherwise, this hotel is a deal in the lovely Emerald City. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"close to whole foods"
Eating healthy if very important to us, so we chose to stay near the whole foods in downtown seattle. this place is super close to the whole foods and the space needle, pacific science center, chihuly museum and everything else downtown. it was super clean and the frontdesk was very accommodating.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a nice stay, the room was very clean and even got to check in earlier then the time it said. Good hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
For $140 a night I did not expect to stay in a room with so many broken things. The window was broken, the drapes didn't shut, the toilet paper dispenser was broken, and the lights were very dim. Our view out our window was an office building and because the drapes didn't shut the lights kept us up all night. The breakfast was okay, but nothing was getting […] refilled so the food was gone and peoples dirty dishes were piling up along the wall. I will never stay there again Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Overall good experience"
We stayed two nights for ECCC. It was about a 10 minute walk from the WA convention center. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the inside of the hotel was so clean and updated, I was worried when we pulled up to the building. Don't judge a book by it's cover! The only downside was Parking was very limited so once we got a […] spot we left our car there until we checked out also walls were thin. We could hear the people's conversation next to us and they were also commenting on ours through the walls. We would stay again for sure! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay!"
All staff were pleasant upon arrival & friendly when asked for information; the free cookies were a bonus. It was far enough from main town Seattle that noise was a moderate factor. Parking was kinda tight but was more of an issue from other guests than with the staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good location, walking distance to space needle, pike market , groceries etc. Breakfast is great. Highly recommendedGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was clean, there was only sheer curtains so not real private, no way to adjust the temperature in the room. House keeping came to the room at 9:30 in the morning wanting to know when we would be checking out. They seemed to be in a hurry to get us out, didn't really appreciate that. The breakfast selection was not real great, but it was ok. […] The folks at the front desk were awesome very helpful and kind. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"You shouldn't lie to the customers."
We asked the front desk for an extra blanket and was told by the front desk agent that hotel had no more. Returning to the hotel room without a blanket we passed an open closet completely FULL of them. Straight lie to the face, she should be fired.Genuine Expedia guest review

Heater didn't work so good. either off or burning you up with heat. Nice shower. Breakfast was really nice. Helpful staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
Excellent value for the price. Close to many things. Street noise, minimal.Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel is fairly close to the Space Needle and Jazz Alley. We are walkers and walked everywhere. Walking from the train station was a little far but definitely not too far. The hotel itself is very clean. The staff is kind, helpful and funny. Breakfast that is served in the morning is also quite good. I would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"family get away"
the hotel was great front desk very friendly and help full. Will stay with them again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was difficult to check in because there is a circle driveway for checking in that was blocked every time I needed it. Once you're in that position... you're stuck. The hotel does not monitor if the check in spot is being used for not-so-short-term parking, It was inconvenient and irritating and the front desk did not address the problem. There was […] a sock in my room on the floor near the couch. Not mine. Previous guest. Which made me think that it likely hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned well. There is a sliding glass door that faces an alley. The room, though, has a fold out couch, large vanity, fridge and microwave. Breakfast in the morning was varied and good. I never did get to use the fitness room, but it has a couple of cardio machines and a couple of weight machines. Parking is tight but available. Compared to other hotels nearby, and given the service, I think it probably wasn't the best deal in the neighborhood. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great customer service"
The front desk did a fabulous job during check-in and check out. They were incredibly nice especially since there was a bunch of us from all over Washington State there for a concert at the WaMu theater. The beds were also really comfy. The only thing that I did not like was that parking was only limited to one car per room and there wasn't really that […] much offsite parking for our guests. Other than that, everything was great! The host staff was wonderful the entire four nights we stayed. Pleasant and accommodating including the free baked cookies at the front desk. It was a large family event so we had two other rooms reserved for our parents and sister with kids. Each was clean and ready to go when we arrived. Spacious and comfortable beds! The only draw back was the construction […] going on down the corner, but I'm sure once that is done it will only add to the type of available eateries and shops this hotel is close too. Pikes Market was walking distance and tons of places to explore. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We had an excellent stay, and it was nice having a hide-away bed for my son! The customer service was excellent! The Continental breakfast was one of the best I have ever had at a hotel. Only tiny complaint is that the beds are deceivingly uncomfortable? You lay in them and they feel amazing and cozy and comfy, but both my husband and I woke up with […] sore backs. "Best Buy in Downtown Seattle"
We stayed two nights so we could see a show at Jazz Alley and wander around the big city a bit. This is not a new hotel, but it is updated nicely. Good restaurants are within a block or two, and Jazz Alley not quite three blocks. It's nice to park for free at the hotel and walk where we want to go because parking garages are expensive and street parking […] very hard to get. I'd say if we wanted to go further away from the hotel it would make good sense to use taxi cabs and enjoy the door service. The room was nice sized and very clean. We loved the travertine and stone bath area with the vanity separated from the shower and toilet. And the double showerhead was luxurious! Toiletries are by Rusk and quite nice. This room may have been an upgrade for us, so be sure and ask at check-in what kind of room you are getting. The best part for my husband, though was watching the high-rise construction nearby. He could sip his coffee and watch the crane and elevator, while men in hardhats walked beams and ladders. He says they added a new floor in just two days! The Hurricane Restaurant is a half block away. It's the former Dawghouse Café, a bit of Seattle history built in the 1930s. It's proud to be a dive, but it serves a good breakfast at a great price. It's only going to be around for one more year as Amazon bought the property and it will be replaced by another one of those high-rise buildings, again, within easy view of the La Quinta. We were very pleased! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Easy commute to city locales"
La Quinta is an excellent hotel in a convenient location for those with cars. They have their own garage, and do not charge for parking. The decor is excellent, and I felt the quality of the room was higher than expected...with marble countertops and such. The room was quiet, and I had a nice desk at which to work. The reception staff were pleasant […] and very helpful. The breakfast room was pleasant; however, I would have liked more hot foods. I would recommend this hotel with enthusiasm. No complaints at all. I definitely wasn't expecting such a nice stay for the money I paid, and I was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast could use a few more healthy protein options (other than yogurt and hard-boiled eggs, which are nice, but one or two more couldn't hurt). The business center was extremely useful, as I was there to give a presentation […] and needed just a little bit of time to work on it and print some things off. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any stay, business or pleasure. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Pleasant Surprise/Value Walkable to Seattle Center"
I've stayed in this area before and I'm glad to see they're continuing to make improvements, although construction on nearby Aurora Ave is a nightmare. This La Quinta seems very lonely from its entrance tucked across from Denny Park. But just a block up is a Whole Foods and you're a short walk to anywhere downtown. Convenience factor is HUGE! Lobby […] was cheerful and comfy; breakfast area was large, with lots of seating. For combination of price and location, this La Quinta was a real value. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Affordable and Comfortable"
When we booked our tickets for a concert at Paramount Theater, we also needed downtown lodging. We were pleased to find LaQuinta Inn as one of the selections because we had a great prior experience with LaQuinta in the Portland area. We easily made advance reservations online. The check-in clerk was so friendly and helpful with providing a map, directions, […] and dining recommendations. This downtown Seattle location was perfect because it was within walking distance for everything we needed. The housekeeping staff provided a nice personal touch by taking note that we needed help organizing all the toiletries for three adults. Nice surprise when we returned to find the extra tray on the bathroom counter. The beds were extraordinarily comfortable - we didn't need to use the egg-crate topper we brought with us in anticipation of the usual rock-hard hotel mattress. Also enjoyed the shower with duel shower heads. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Location, reasonable price for the location"
Good location for taking in all the sights of Seattle, not the best neighborhood to the left of the hotel but to the right is a Whole Foods store. Garage parking with plenty of room, there's a park across the street to walk the dogs just don't go at night. Soft comfy bed, room was clean, hotel personnel were very nice, pet friendly. I will definitely […] be staying here whenever I come to sight see in Seattle. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

I have stayed here before. The last time they were just beginning a remodel of the lobby, desk and breakfast areas. Rooms were already remodeled. This is a convenient location for downtown Seattle. Very nice option for a downtown hotel, walking distance from Space Needle and all attractions in downtown. Free parking during the stay. Staff at check in super friendly and helpful. "Mice room, great price!"
We had to get a room last minute and ended up at LaQuinta because it was pet friendly. The rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Couldn't ask for more really. We'll stay here next time we're in Seattle too.Genuine Expedia guest review
"People can see you!"
I was placed on 5th floor with many windows facing the next building. The funny thing is that the room had inadequate curtain so people next building could literally see you.Genuine Expedia guest review
