"Hotel Indigo Atlanta"
If you are over weight do not stay at this hotel....the bathrooms are extremely small. sit on the toilet and rest your head on the sink small. other than the extremely small bathrooms the hotel was old and had some contemporary flare. the bar is good but you will have to help the staff make your drinks as none of them have bar tending experience. Breakfast […] is scrabled eggs everything so if you want those sunny side ups you will be eating elsware. location was busy so lts of traffic on the street side. I would not go back. :-( Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good enough for short stay"
The decor is fun and location good (right across from Fox Theater), but the rooms are small and bathrooms super tiny. We were in town for only one night. The front panel of our A/C popped off, and while we reported it to maintenance, it did not get fixed before we left. The front desk workers were very pleasant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel Indigo is centrally located in Atlanta's Midtown neighborhood and was convenient to Emory University Hospital Midtown where we were visiting a patient. The hotel's location is in a very walkable area and is near lots of restaurants as well as the historic Fox Theatre. Our room was small but compact. The bathroom was tiny but provided Aveda toiletries […] which was a plus. We would definitely stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Love the Location"
First off let me say is room is small, the bathroom is really small, it's cute and comfortable but small. Very clean. Way cool surroundings the historic Fox Theater is across the street and the Georgian Terrace is next door. The interior of the lobby is filled with interesting art and graffiti, marble floors, and eclectic design. Staff was friendly […] and helpful. This was a single with a queen and I'm sure they have larger rooms. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Small bathrooms. Not so good area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel we really nice and we enjoyed it. The only issue I had was that they would not work with me regarding an family emergency. I had to check out early and they would only tell me to contact Hotels.com. Hotels.com contact the hotel and the hotel refused to wavie the check out early penality. However Hotels.com helped me out and I cannot thank […] them enough. This is a prime example of why I use Hotels.com. They are the GREAT! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great employees but rooms are a little small"
We booked last minute due to plumbing work in our daughters apartment. The employees are wonderful!!!! The room is a little outdated and small and the bathroom is tiny. I asked if they had a bigger room and they said no.:( Food was amazing and so was the employees; to bad it was too small. If you need a place for 1-2 people this would be good (bathroom […] is small); more than that and it is a tight fit. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"A miss on too many fronts"
There are few aspects to a 4 star rating that are essential. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom are at the top. I gave 3 stars for the bed. The bathroom shower was dirty (with black mold). Overall condition of the hotel was OK for a place of this age, but a new coat of paint over the top of neglect still leaves the neglect! On top of it, ate at the bar […] and the smell from the bar was dank (reminded me of the shower). Staff was OK, no refrigerator available. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Not a bad hotel"
I enjoyed every aspect of my stay but the fact that the rooms did not come with a refrigerator. We were told that one would be sent to our room though it never was.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good price for a great location, but small rooms"
This hotel was a very reasonable price for the Midtown area, walking distance to plenty of bars and restaurants. The rooms and bathrooms are very small, but for the price, location, and friendliness of the staff, it was a good stay. They are very pet friendly!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel Indigo - Midtown Atlanta"
Nice place, lowest cost for any hotel in the area, bar was nice. patio where you could eat or have a drink. 100 Yards to Fox Theatre.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cramped, Hot and Muggy"
Tiny rooms and tinier bathroom. Interior hallways were hot and muggy. In the room, despite the AC being on full blast the entire time, it was always hot. Once the sun came out, it got hotter. Would not stay there again, I expect more in the $140 price range.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel but very tiny rooms and bathrooms"
Liked the location. Hotel was decorated well. Hotel was clean. Room sizes were small and the bathroom was tiny! Had to pay 25 dollars to park in parking deck. I think a little too expensive for what u get.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Super close to Fox Theatre"
The hotel staff was SUPER nice. Michael checked us in and out and helped us with anything we needed through our stay. He was extremely nice and helpful! The rooms themselves are on the small side, but the building is super old and historic so there isn't much to be done about the size of the rooms or bathrooms. However, the hotel makes great use of […] the space and the rooms are super cute and modern. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family. Hotel is old but remodeled. I didn't get a sense of clean. But wasn't dirty either. Just overall impression was not one of clean. Was a good location for the Fox Theatre. But I won't choose again. Even though the rooms were very small and the bathroom is tiny, the rooms were clean and interiors were well done. The hotel is renovating and after being moved two times, we were given a room in which everything worked. The shower in the first room would not drain. After one shower, the show floor was completely filled with water. No shower in that […] room for the second person. We called the front desk and were moved. The second room was at the end of a hall where the wall was being repaired. Workmen were outside our door before 8:00 AM working on the wall repair. We asked to be moved but we had to wait until late afternoon when the room was cleaned. Finally, the third room was ok and we did not have any problems. The hotel staff were very nice and we did receive meal, parking, and wine comp. They tried to compensate for the inconveniences. The trip would have been much more enjoyable if we had not experienced the room problems. Disappointed. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good place but a lot of noisy construction"
Good location, beautiful old building. We were put in a room with a large bath but a tiny bed, got it changed for a big bed and a small bathroom, they were very nice about it and did it quickly. Fine friendly service from everybody. Excellent Mid-town location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small bathroom but, overall, very nice."
Everything was fine, except for the bathroom. It was very small (there was only about a foot of space between the sink and the toilet), and the curb of the shower was not tall enough. When we took showers, water from the shower spilled over onto the bathroom floor. Everything else was fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small, but convenient"
The Indigo is a nice hotel, I went for one night because I was seeing a show at the Fox and didn't want to drive immediately after. It was very convenient and had a parking garage. The place wasn't crowded, the lobby was stylish and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are very small, which I was warned about, and the bathroom is a step-up and small. […] Overall you don't really need that much space in a room so I didn't feel cramped for the night and the bed was very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend staying for longer than a few days, though, because of the small space and lack of mini fridge. There wasn't a coffee maker in our room but there was supposed to be. "Close to the Fox"
We stayed here one night due to its proximity to the Fox Theater. The hotel was lovely- trendy, but not over the top. Rooms are very comfortable, though the bathroom is small. Overall, a wonderful experience. Staff members were very polite. We would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The stay was wonderful. The only issue I had was how the so called "Free Breakfast was listed. It's not free. You can eat up to $12 of breakfast free per person. So, I felt like that was misleading on the advertisement. Other than that, the stay was wonderful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Location, Not So Great Customer Service"
I loved being able to walk to the play at the Fox Theater and go to restaurants without having to drive in traffic. The hotel was nice, the rooms were small but we had expected that. The room was very charming and clean. However, we were charged $20 for one extra person (total of 3 in a room with 2 double beds) and though we had 3 sets of towels, we […] only had 2 coffee cups. I called first thing in the morning and was promised another coffee cup and more coffee to be brought up immediately. We checked out of the hotel 3 hours later and the extra cup and coffee were never delivered. The desk clerk was very nice and apologized when we checked out but didn't offer to refund the $20 charge. We had been assured that customer service was above and beyond for this hotel, but we didn't experience it in our situation. I am very disappointed and will more than likely stay at the hotel next door the next time I attend a Fox event. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The room was very small. Too small. The two of us kept bumping into each other. It was very uncomfortable. "Great place to stay for a show."
This is a great hotel to stay if you plan on attending any event at the Fox theater. It is right across the street and conveniently located. Parking was 25 dollars a night but it was easy enough. In walking distance to many eateries. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Clean, but small"
If you're looking for a quaint, quiet getaway that's different from the traditional hotel scene, the Indigo fits the bill. Uniquely decorated (although undergoing renovation during our stay), it was a nice place to stay for one night. The rooms weren't quite as spacious as they looked online, and the bathroom was European TINY. "service doesn't trump space"
Bulky round sink inches from face when sitting on toilet. Should have been rectangle and thin. Bulky armoire and TV stand rob precious space in an already small room. Impossible to place suitcase anywhere either than next to bed. Nice decor, but faux distressed cliche. Confusing hall decor. Fantastic lobby. Impeccable service thanks to scale and room/staff […] ratio. Best hotel shower experience ever. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Recently stayed at the Indigo to attend a concert at the ASO. Great location. Very friendly staff. Secure parking (although there is a fee). Bathrooms are small but very functional. Room was perfect. "Not like other Hotel Indigos..."
Having stayed at three other Hotel Indigo properties, this one in Midtown Atlanta was not as expected. The room was very tiny and felt more like a motel room, than a Hotel Indigo room. It was very cramped. Didn't have the modern and clean decorations I've come to expect. And the bathroom was the smallest hotel bathroom I've ever seen (and I've taken […] trips to London where the bathrooms are tiny). Sitting down on the toilet put you about 6" away from the sink, the wall, and the shower glass. It was incredibly small and uncomfortable. The bedroom itself was fine, but again, not up to Hotel Indigo design and comfort standards. Maybe it was just this room? But the hotel was also undergoing maintenance, which didn't help our trip. We walked five blocks to get dinner and it didn't feel safe. I've stayed in parts of downtown Atlanta before. I'll definitely stay at a Hotel Indigo again, but not this one. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel but understaffed."
The hotel is terribly understaffed. The front desk was staffed by one individual who also delivered towels, etc. There was no bell staff so you have to wrangle your own luggage. The staff park the hotel vehicles to block the area in front of the entrance so you can't pull your car up and unload. We had to park on the 8th floor of the parking garage […] (a separate building) and move our own luggage to the hotel and up to the 10th floor. Rather pricey for a "self-serve" hotel. "An elevating experience"
I travel 40% of the year up and down the East Coast. I decided to take my wife out for a night on the town and grab a room close to the Fox Theatre. We dropped off our things in the room. Its was clean and all the basic amenitites seemed to work. We left for a show and dinner. It was late when we returned to the room. So we prepared for bed. We had […] a king size bed; or twin size beds with a king mattress thrown over the top of them. One bed was damaged where the head of the mattress was pointing 30 degrees down toward the floor. So when I got into bed my feet were over my head. My wife got a good laugh out of it but we both ended up sleeping on her portion of the bed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Love Hotel Indigo but not in Atlanta"
I love the brand of Hotel Indigo but the missing wall in our hallway was not attractive, and the next morning there were guys cussing and scrapping outside our window doing drywall. It started at 7am until 10am, and I was on a mini vacation where I wanted to rest. I understand work needs to happen, but it could of been done calmer, or at least have […] thicker walls from the outside of the building from my room. Then, when we told front desk, they just apologized but didn't seem sincere. I don't need any thing free, but they could of talked to the workers or made us feel better. "adorable boutique hotel"
It was under renovation but everything was comfortable and the room service for was prompt and delicious. Very close(across the street!) to the landmark Fox and the Vortex which has the best hamburgers and The Laughing Skull, an intimate comedy Club. Best birthday ever!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The boutique hotel is appealing. I opted for a king size room with a city view. The room was extremely tiny. The bathroom would not be adequate for a small child to use the toilet and not hit their knees on the sink. I was shocked that there was not complimentary coffee. Overall, the only thing nice about this hotel was the view of the FOX.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Older hotel, fabulous staff"
Having stayed at the Indigo in Chicago, expectations were high, probably too high. Hotel is older and "historic", so space is at a premium. I did not expect that to mean no bathtub in the rooms. I will say that the staff was SUPER accommodating and very willing to change me to a handicap room that had a tub. Unfortunately, when I went to use that tub, […] housekeeping had done a very poor job of cleaning and there were long strands of black hair still in the drain. On top of that, the toilet in my room kept running and running. The chain would fall off the drain and I had to take off the back cover and fix it to get it to stop so that I could rest. I admit, I did NOT report this because by the time that I would get back to the room, I just didn't have the energy to report it and wait for someone to come up and do what I could do myself. Despite the less than stellar physical accommodations, the staff was incredibly friendly and professional and certainly made up for the pitfalls of the room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was a perfect location in Midtown and was walking distance to restaurants and bars. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel staff was unfriendly. Parking cost for the hotel was unexpected. As a someone who works for the military and is paying full price for a room I expected to park at the hotel for free! When asked if this could be waived that man just said no. We asked about the surrounding area and he was unable to give any suggestions of places to go. The rooms […] were clean, but SMALL! There was no bath tub, my boyfriend kept banging his nees on the sink when he went to use the bathroom, water sprayed all over from the shower since there was no door and on the curtain preventing water from going all over (didn't work). I don't enjoy cookie cutter hotels so I usually look for a boutique hotel and that's what Indigo feels like.Smaller, cozy and more personal.
