Great lil hotel. Perfection location. Right next to the MARTA station, literally up the street less than 3 min. Great location.. Great restaurant across the street, walking distance to a CVS, Starbucks, FOX theatre, and many more.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Enjoyable.Perfect place to stay overnight after attending events at Fox. Only wish restaurant stayed open later so you could eat with out leaving the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect for one."
The location is very convenient to GA Tech. While small, the lobby is inviting, and service is friendly and efficient. The room and bath size are perfect for one, but probably a bit tight for more.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Needs some tweaking on service."
We live in outside the city of Atlanta, and occasionally go to Midtown to enjoy the restaurants and sights. This is the first time at Hotel Indigo after having stayed at another hotel nearby which we like very much. We had stayed at a couple of Hotel Indigo hotels in London and one in Asheville and liked the boutique-y feel of their concept. That said, […] and though our stay was only one night, the Atlanta site could use a bit of tweaking, particularly for the price. The room was small which we expected, but the bathroom was ridiculous. My husband and I are tall and could barely fit into the bathroom. Also, there were little details that showed a lack of oversight. The coffee/tea available only had one coffee packet. We dropped into the bar for a nightcap and the bartenders spent most of the time we were there mopping up the floor in front of us because a beer keg had spilled beer all over the floor. That night we were jarred awake by a toddler who had been let loose in the halls at 3:30 a.m. and was screaming and running for over an hour. I will say that when we checked out and I mentioned these things, the desk clerk was very apologetic and asked how he could make it up to us....maybe a bottle of water for the road? Uh....really? How about offering a discount on our room? Anyway, given our experience we'll go back to our usual place where we feel like we are appreciated and treated extremely well. "How it really is"
Hotel is renovated hotel that just didn't go all the way. Loose ends everywhere. Location to the fox cant be beat but I would check out next door.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Hotel Indigo Atlanta Midtown Dear James from big d - Thank you for being our guest and for taking time to share your sentiments from your recent stay. I am sorry we did not inspire you enough to earn a higher rating. We are about to begin phase 3 of our renovation, giving us a new, more cohesive design in our guest floor corridors and meeting rooms. I hope you will check back in a couple of months to check it out. We'd love to have the chance to impress you. Best regards, Gabriele Webster, General Manager
"Great hotel, but tiny bathroom, & parking is tough"
If you're driving reconsider staying here - it is directly across the street from the Fox Theater. Traffic and getting into the parking garage can be a nightmare. Otherwise it's a great neighborhood.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice accommodations."
This was a first trip to Atlanta, and the Hotel Indigo was a great welcome! We would certainly stay there again!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Wouldn't stay here again"
The lobby is beautiful, but the rooms are ridiculously small and the bathroom is a joke! For $75 more a night, we could have stayed at the W. Definitely not worth your money and rather disappointed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great staff but be prepared to pay for extras"
Like other Hotel Indigos, a hip place with good people; my only problem was after seeing that hotel parking was $25/night, I chose to park on street a few blocks away but in order to feed meter had to be there by 7 AM. Got there by 7:30 and already had a $35 parking fine! So pay the $25 and sleep easy! Some good bars/eating places within walking distance […] and also at hotel. "Lovely boutique hotel, helpful staff!"
I really enjoyed my stay! I would certainly return. The rooms were appointed very well, they're small, but have a lot of character. The lobby and hotel staff was wonderful. I forgot toothpaste and they quickly got me some, they have free printing for boarding passes, they stored my bags all day, and gave me helpful directions. I took the train to-and-from […] the airport with total ease! I highly recommend! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel, tiny bathroom"
We really enjoyed our stay - it's a nice hotel but the bathroom was ridiculously small. It felt European - you could literally wash your hands while seated on the commode and needed to remove the toilet paper from the wall to reach it. That said, the shower was actually very spacious and was probably bigger than the rest of the bathroom.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice. Should have complimentary breakfast fr the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel was perfect for my friend and I for a relaxing weekend in Atlanta. The rooms were clean and the staff is great. My only complaint was the bartender at the bar downstairs...he was a bit rude. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hip hotel, Great staff"
Was in town for my birthday and it was awesome to have staff remember me from previous stays. The location was great for what my plans were while there. This is my go to place in Atlanta.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Needs Sprucing Up"
After reading previous reviews I knew what my expectations should be. Older hotel, small rms, small bathrms, eclectic décor. The lobby was clean and trendy. There was one person working the desk but luckily it was not crowded. 2 small elevators to take you to your rm. But they also have stairs that are quicker if you are on a lower floor. We were on […] the 2nd floor with a view of the FOX. The bthrm was the smallest I have ever seen. You can sit on the potty and wash your hands at the same time....think cruise ship. The flooring needs to be replaced... it is laminate made to look like wood and had a few tear marks. It is an old building so all the AC units are in the windows. The walls are old stucco and painted. They did not have blackout curtains so when the sun comes up...you are up. The bed was comfy. This hotel has a decent price and location and since we were only there for 1 night it was not that big of a deal. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Cute boutique hotel in a central location"
I really wanted to like this hotel more, but after a long day of traveling I was disappointed that our room wasn't quite what I expected. A small room, with an even tinier bathroom, the entire room smelled like fresh paint that was still drying. The bathroom was miniature! Even the thinnest and fittest folks would be touching the sink as they were using […] the toilet, god forbide you try to do a 360 in that bathroom! The decor was cute, but looked a bit shabby and worn down. Location was pretty great and the staff was friendly from the limited interaction I had with them. I did get a knock on my door at 8am for house cleaning...I also had a staff member open the door while my boyfriend was changing, mistakenly thinking the room was vacant for some reasons! "Nice place and able to park car without valet"
Hotel Indigo was very nice. I really like being able to park and go as I please without having to use a valet. The room was clean and roomy. They hadn't made up the room by 3pm and I could not get a safety deposit box---only complaints. The rest of the stay was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Boutique hotel with outstanding customer service"
We stayed there recently on a Braves/Six Flags combo trip. Nice hotel with cool decor, right across from the Fox Theatre. The bathrooms are indeed small; only possible complaint here. I mean, *really* tiny. But the staff here are super friendly, and were helpful with food suggestions and minor accessories for the room (we requested a razor, mouthwash, […] and even a bottle opener...all were provided with a smile.) We'd definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This is our second stay at Indiago . Rooms are very comfortable. Located downtown across fron the Fox. The bed was dreamy. Close to all amenities . Highly recommend this charming property.Genuine Expedia guest review
Outside of hotel a little run down and rooms a bit outdated, but the staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. For the price it was worth it. Hotel close to UCSBGenuine Expedia guest review
"close to the fox"
good location but small repeat small bathrooms. also the additional fee for parking makes the cost quite a bit to much for overall.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I liked the hotel and convenient location. I realize it is a historic building and was warned by the front desk clerk, but the bathroom was too teeny. Even so, it was easy parking at the Georgian Terrace parking garage and pleasant enough overall. I think it was a good value for an Atlanta hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Toto show at the Fox Theater"
With the exception of the high price of parking @ $25 per day and the very small bathroom the stay was very comfortable and all of the staff were friendly and professional.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel- but really small room and bathroom"
The hotel is in centralized location in Midtown were you can walk to different events downtown. The hotel service was good and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Our only complaint is the bathroom was really small, so if you are claustrophobic, this is not the hotel for you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"31 out of 35"
I only gave a lower rating because of the bathroom. It was too small! I am 5'2 and I actually hit my head on the sink pulling my pants up! The toilet and the sink are right in front of each other with a little "wiggle room" between them. The staff was amazing and I loved the decor in the hotel/rooms.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Small rooms but lots of charm"
We were attending a wedding at The Fox, so convenience was the key. The hotel is truly charming -- a mix of wonderful old architecture combined with modern/eclectic elements -- a great fun combination. Our room was very small, our bathroom tiny, but all we needed was a clean place to shower and sleep for one night and this fit the bill perfectly. The […] hotel staff is OUTSTANDING. They went out of their way to be helpful -- especially Earl at the front desk -- he was wonderful when our van got stuck in the parking deck and we had to park it outside on the drive -- and Earl ensured that would be just fine and provided the appropriate paperwork so we would not get towed. We will definitely stay there again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We had a one night stay while moving my daughter. The hotel manager was wonderful and let us park the Uhaul in special parking. The room was very nice and comfortable. We would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a bit of an issue with this booking. It wasn't the fault of Hotels.com nor Hotel Indigo. The manager on duty had no obligation to accommodate us in any way, but she went out of her way to make us feel beyond valued. Her name was Gabriele Webster and we appreciated everything that she did for us.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Small bathroom for sure!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location just opposite of the Fox theater. The hotel is very modern with a charming lobby. The staff is great. And yes the bathroom is very small, but I don't understand why would one need a huge bathroom. The only thing that I would add is a small fridge in every room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is a lovely hotel, in a mostly transformed neighborhood. People were friendly, I felt safe walking around, and there were plenty of restaurants and places to gather. And of course, the Fox Theater is across the street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a great location in Midtown and a great room. However, the toilet made a noise after flushing, lasting all night, even after maintenance looked at it. Other than that, I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was in a great location; near good restaurants and the available taxi service outside the hotel was excellent. In other reviews, the bathroom was rated poorly for its small size. However, how much room do you need to do your business? Yes, it was small, but it was clean and usable and its small size did not bother me. All in all, I would recommend […] this hotel. "Awesome place to stay!"
I loved this hotel! The room was super cute, clean, colorful, inviting, cozy, amazing! It was close to the ground floor which I like. The staff were courteous and friendly. The bar area was great as was the little front patio. The vending machine was good for late night snacks...as were a few restaurants down the street. Super close to downtown, the […] park, farmer's market, great coffee, fun bars and restaurants. I had a room on the animal floor, I didn't have a pet. The dog next door was quite noisy. The front desk didn't charge me for the drinks and coffee I'd had at the bar. Very nice of them and they were very pleasant about it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The Hotel Indigo Midtown Atlanta is a lovely place to stay. The staff is warm and friendly; the room was comfortable despite other's comments about the small bathrooms. They are not for living in and are adequate for their designed purpose. It was raining lightly so we were happy the garage is close to the rear entrance. A great Italian restaurant was […] right across the street, so again, everything was quite satisfactory. Also, this hotel is a piece of history as it was the first Hotel Indigo in the world. I have also stayed at the Indigo in St. Petersburg, FL and it is equally charming. I highly recommend them both. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Lovely hotel very close to the amenities of Midtown Atlanta. If you need to walk to Downtown Atlanta (about 10 to 15 minutes), just be aware that there are A LOT of people living on the sidewalks nearby. "Great location Midtown Atlanta"
This is a perfect location. Came here for business and pleasure so it was perfect not to have to drive once we parked the car. Beautiful street, lovely lobby and front terrace overlooking Peachtree. I had stayed at a Hotel Indigo in Asheville and the room was twice […] the size but the location really made up for it! I would stay again and the staff was outstanding. Close to the MARTA. Nice location in Mid-Town. Cool old building. Tragic decor. Small rooms, really small bathrooms. Nice staff, who provided friendly and completely adequate service. Trashy outside every morning, broken bottles and garbage.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very small room. Hard bed. Tiny bathroom."
The location is the only nice thing about this hotel. We were going to a show at the Fox Theatre and it is right across the street. We were only supposed to stay one night but checked out and did not stay because the room was so uncomfortable. The a / c was not working properly, the bed was extremely hard, the bathroom was tiny.Genuine Expedia guest review

If you are over weight do not stay at this hotel....the bathrooms are extremely small. sit on the toilet and rest your head on the sink small. other than the extremely small bathrooms the hotel was old and had some contemporary flare. the bar is good but you will have to help the staff make your drinks as none of them have bar tending experience. Breakfast […] is scrabled eggs everything so if you want those sunny side ups you will be eating elsware. location was busy so lts of traffic on the street side. The decor is fun and location good (right across from Fox Theater), but the rooms are small and bathrooms super tiny. We were in town for only one night. Hotel Indigo is centrally located in Atlanta's Midtown neighborhood and was convenient to Emory University Hospital Midtown where we were visiting a patient. First off let me say is room is small, the bathroom is really small, it's cute and comfortable but small. Very clean. Way cool surroundings the historic Fox Theater is across the street and the Georgian Terrace is next door. The interior of the lobby is filled with interesting art and graffiti, marble floors, and eclectic design. Staff was friendly […] and helpful.
