Inexpensive, centrally located in mid-town. Nice boutique style hotel. Extremely small bathroom. I would stay there againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I used to stay here when it was an old Days Inn and they've done a great job with the renovation. Yes, the rooms are small but I can live with that. The bathrooms are ridiculous however.... not functional. I would also like to suggest they provide better irons. But most of all, I was shocked to see that they don't recycle and that is unlike most of […] the indigos I've stayed at. I thought they lost the sustainability trademark that Indigos are famous for. "Clean, but tiny rooms. Not kid friendly."
We traveled with our toddler daughter. Did not know that there were no tubs in the rooms. Little kids don't really like showers. We had a room with two double beds for 3 of us and it was quite cramped. I had stayed in larger hotels in New York! The bathroom is extremely small, you can touch the sink and tub while on the toilet. If tall you may hit your […] head on the sink when getting up from the toilet, that's how small it is. The staff's service was good and attentive and the room was clean. I would not stay at this hotel again with a family. My brother in law recommended it, but he has no kids and didn't think about that. I guess if you are single and want to save money it is decent enough. As an FYI, parking is $25/night. "Rooms are cheap, but they get you with the food"
The quality of the hotel was great. Their customer service was great. The receptionist, Joshua, was very personable and always asked me if I needed anything in my room. But, I soon realized that the affordability of the room was offset by the prices for room service. One bagel was $3.75! Perhaps this is standard at hotels, but this was my first encounter […] with room service. Would I go there again? Of course! I'll just have to bring my own snacks. "Nice decor, polite staff"
I had a great time at Hotel Indigo this past weekend. The staff was extremely friendly and pleasant to work with. My only (small) complaint would be that there are ice machines on every other floor as opposed to each floor. Also, I'd read the reviews where people complained about the restroom being tiny and at first glance I didn't think it was an issue. […] It wasn't until I showered and water was all over the floor that I saw that it is a problem. The a/c controls/unit were also kind of screwy. My room would be extremely hot or extremely cold. I wasn't able to really figure out how to get it just right. A huge positive for me was the bed. Talk about COMFORT. It was so comfortable I missed breakfast all 3 days of my stay because I couldn't get myself to climb out from under the covers. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Very comfortable and the staff was excellent. We will stay here again when passing through Atlanta.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was not disclosed to me that there would be a $25 parking fee so I was surprised that I was asked to pay for it. The bathroom is incredibly small, can was your teeth while sitting at the toilet. the towels were stained as well as the shower curtain. Caulking at the shower was stained black with mildew and the lavatory sink was clogged.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice hotel for price"
Only wish bathroom was larger and window did not rattle. Food was good, clean hotel, but needs work on building upkeep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff was very friendly and interested in making your stay great. Breakfast in hotel restaurant was convenient and tasty with a good variety of choices. Bed was very comfy. Bathroom is tiny and only one at a time can use it but not a real problem. Heat/cool fan is noisy as is the case in many hotels - earplugs helped a lot. MARTA train from airport […] to hotel is very convenient and easy to get to sights as well. Pros outweigh the cons and it was a highly successful stay for us. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Go elsewhere, next door maybe."
Smallest room ever. We had to stay out just to keep from tripping over each other. no divider between shower floor and regular bathroom floor, just a curtain. Then we complained and got a room a little bigger with no extra charge but now the bathroom was a total of 5 feet from door to the end on the inside of the shower. then I hit my head on the sink […] just trying to sit down on the toilet. I get the whole authentic thing but I guess that's just not us. Staff was great and hotel was clean but I was so jealous of the people I could see out the window at the Georgian Terrace pulling up and checking in. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Spend a Little More and Stay Next Door!"
My advice... Pay the extra to stay at the Georgian Terrace next door. I've stayed there before and it's well worth the extra money. About this experience... when I went to check in, there wasn't a very good indication of where exactly you're supposed to check in. There were TWO employees at the "desk", and neither of them paid any attention to me until […] I finally asked if this was indeed where I could check in. They were nice enough, but handed over my room keys and parking key without any information about WHERE to park (which isn't evident because the garage belongs to and is labeled "The Georgian Terrace") or where my room was located, which fortunately was written on the key folder. The room itself was TINY. It reminded my husband and I of some NYC hotels we've stayed in, but this is Atlanta... not Times Square. I also paid an additional charge for a room with a "view of the city". My room was on the back of the building on the third floor with a view of the Georgian Terrace parking garage, and just below was the roof of a lower section of the building with a bunch of AC units. The bathroom was so small that you could hardly turn around in it. It was literally a 6' x 6' square that included a shower, sink and toilet. My only positive experience there was when I checked out with Joshua. He was absolutely delightful! My husband and I often attend events at The Fox and Shakespeare's Tavern, but I can assure you, we won't be staying at Hotel Indigo again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Midtown value"
Good, solid hotel. Staying Midtown can get expensive. Indigo is a great value, not too expensive and a really nice hotel. Lobby area is very stylish, great décor. If you are not spending a lot of time in your room doing business, this is a good hotel. Close to great restaurants and across from Fox Theater.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to the Fox Theatre"
When we checked in our room, it smelled like smoke. It is a non-smoking hotel so we complained to the front desk. & we found out that there is a $350 fine for smoking! We were moved to another smoke free room. The beds were comfortable but I noticed some dust by the bed & one our washcloths had make-up on it. The bathroom was tiny but it was fine for […] one night. Also, I heard several sirens go up & down the street all night which made for a restless night. Not the hotel's fault, but maybe soundproof windows would help. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Cute and Cozy with a "Boutique" feel"
Spent just one night for a girlfriend city night getaway but would have loved to have stayed longer. The hotel is beautifully and cheerfully decorated. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are small but cozy and well-appointed. The building is old, so they have done a wonderful job making use of the space. The only problem I had was with […] the parking; swipe card didn't work properly, but other than that not a bad thing to say. Will definitely be back and recommend highly. "Perfect Place to Stay When Going to the Fox!"
We loved the Blud Indigo. Very upbeat, funky decor - sort of modern art deco. Excellent food in the bar, good drinks, too. The room was somewhat small, but comfortable. "Tiny rooms, mediocre service, not impressed"
This hotel has a cool lobby, which is why we booked it, but past that we weren't really pleased with anything. The room was tiny. Like, super tiny. The bathroom was so small I had trouble sitting down to pee without hitting my knees on the sink. The pillows were awful. I also paid extra for a city view, but instead got to look at a parking garage. Service […] wasn't great either. The one time we went down to the bar, we sat at a table for 5 minutes without the server's attention, I had to go up to the bar for a menu. There were also issues with the parking garage. We paid a lot for the card that gives us access to the garage, but we were warned that there were problems so we should just hit the call button to be let in if the card didn't work. Well at one time there was a line of people trying to get out but having problems and it took half an hour for us to get up to the machine. Our card didn't work so we hit the call button. Instead of letting us out, they put us on hold. Over 5 minutes later we're still blocking out traffic and they're not answering the call button. We start beeping the horn. Finally someone comes out but says she can't open the parking arm because then everyone behind us will get out...?!? It took more arguing and unfortunately some profanity to finally get out of that place. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"My Metso trip to Atlanta"
Good Points: 1) Service is probably the best I've ever had. The staff learned my name by the end of my 5-day stay. Eddie, the front desk manager, was awesome. 2) Great location. Within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. 3) Sink was clogged when I checked in. When I mentioned it to Eddie, he had it fixed that day. Same with my heat which […] just had to be changed from "cool" to "heat." 4) Received a free drink at the bar one night. 5) Housekeeping did a good job. Bad Points: 1) Expensive parking. Should be included in hotel rate or customer should get a discount. Close to the hotel you could park your car for a lot less, but it wasn't covered parking. 2) Small rooms especially the bathroom. Probably wouldn't bring my husband. 3) The bed was really hard. When I mentioned the hard bed to Eddie at checkout, he asked if I saw a memory pad. There was no memory pad. 4) Expense breakfast. Had to ask for salt & pepper, and butter and jelly. The last morning I was there, the cook forever to make two scrambled eggs and toast some bread. The waitress apologized, and gave the breakfast to me for free.Another time I had to ask the waitress where my order was. Overall: Would return for business, but not personal. "Not as nice as it used to be"
I stayed at this hotel about 5 years ago and it was a 5+ this trip not so much. The hotel is showing wear. Rooms as mentioned are tiny and bathrooms even smaller. My room last time was larger. Also a couple of the restaurants in […] the area have gone out of business so it is not as great of a location as it was before. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Several of the reviewers for this hotel have a gripe about the size of the bathroom. While I may have traveled internationally a bit more than most, and therefore encountered small, efficiently used bathroom space, I felt that the complaints were a little melodramatic. One person suggested that a large person might not even fit into the bathroom. True, […] the space is small-- limited to a single sink area and the toilet, but the shower was spacious, updated with contemporary fixtures, and the shower head worked well. If you are looking to lounge in the bathroom or soak in a Jacuzzi, this might not be for you, but it was contemporary, nicely styled, like the rest of the room. I found my stay to be quite comfortable, Reasonably priced, and made better by friendly, helpful staff. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"A good starting point"
We were prepared for the small bathrooms, we've been on a boat. Sans that, the room was cozy, no view but I was fine with that for the price. I love the lobby and the décor throughout. Did not care for the minty smell in the hallways however. This hotel is close to a lot of things and it's definitely a landmark if you need to pry the cool places out […] of the locals. Although we didn't get to stop at our hotel bar I could tell those that did had a great time. I do not suggest this for those with children staying in the room with them. It's just to small. However 1 or 2 people can deal with it just fine. Also, the service was great, waters were given at all times of the day and night and the PILLOWS were wonderful. "Mediocre service & small rooms - great location!"
Price was well worth the location and level of service. I had a late check in (10:00 PM) because of delayed travel plans. I called around 8:00 PM to let the hotel know that I would be checking between 10:00 & 10:30 PM. When I arrived at 10:15 PM there was NO ONE in the lobby to help me. Literally no one. After about 10 minutes I was able to track down […] an employee at the hotel bar (which is also in the lobby) who said she didn't know how to check anyone in and didn't know where anyone was. I waited at least 15 minutes to start the check in process, which felt like quite a long time at the end of a long day of travel. The room was well decorated but VERY compact, which I don't necessarily mind but some people might. Great location. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

When I drove into the parking garage at $25 a day with in out privileges and a security guard in the heart of midtown Atlanta, I was immediately impressed knowing the my new Azera would be safe. Then I entered the premises and was in awe of the unique decor of the lobby. Amanda, the front desk clerk, was attentive and immediately welcomed me to the […] Hotel Indigo. Although my room wasn't ready, since I arrived a little before check in, she checked my bags and offered me a coupon to a restaurant were I would receive a free desert or appetizer. I was booked at another hotel for the next day just to return on my third day in Atlanta. She assured me that there would be possibility of an opening on the second day and I would be able to stay in the same room. What a relief! After lunch Amanda checked me into room 203. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy with a view of Peachtree Street. I was right above the awning. The bathroom was small since it was a historic building which is forgiving for the size. It served its purpose but would be uncomfortable for a tall or large person. I met Chris that evening and he also assured me that the possibility of staying the next night were pretty good. "Just call down in the morning". I did and was told that the hotel was booked. After calling the back up hotel for an early check in, Chris called me back and indicated that he spoke with the hotel manager. "Hotel gets 5 Stars, Staff gets 6 STARS!!!"
We stayed at the Indigo Tues through Friday. We usually don't take advantage of dining facilities at hotels, but we DID at the Indigo, wonderful breakfast every morning, and lovely cocktails and appetizers in the evening. Never heard a sound from outside once in our room, great for getting rest, day or night. The staff remembered and used our names, and couldn't do enough for us, Concierge-minded, every one of them!
