Was overall disappointed in our experience at Hotel Indigo. Love the midtown area and being right across the street from the Fox Theatre was what we wanted since we had tickets to The Nutcracker! The hotel lobby is very swanky, contemporary, modern, and has a great chic/hip feel to it. Once we got into the room we were so disappointed. The size of these […] rooms are super small (boutique style) and the overall décor was just weird. We felt like we were staying in a upscale dorm room. There were scuff marks on the walls and the bathroom had stains on the walls. I don't know that I would stay at this hotel again. Next door is the beautiful and historic Georgian Terrace and it's such a better deal if you want to stay in that area. However, I will say the service and staff of the hotel are great and very helpful. We complained about our room since they put us in a adjoining room and they were quick to refund us on some charges and wanted to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. Staff was great! "Great hotel in Midtown with great rates."
The only reason this hotel didn't get 5's all the way across is because it is a renovated historical building. This makes the rooms a little small. I'm a big dude, but I was comfortable. I got a corner room which is bigger than the normal rooms. The bed was like a giant fluffy cloud that made me late for work by being way too comfortable. My stay was […] all of 7 hours (Christmas party crash pad). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Rooms and bathrooms too small. Parking ridiculously expensive,as was dining. Very limited menu. The people are the greatest asset.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Avoid the Perimeter Traffic and Stay in Midtown"
Those Business travelers that pay their own expenses will tell you about how Atlanta hotels around the Perimeter are expensive and the traffic, well I finally stayed in Midtown and loved it.. Kinda like staying in the heart and you can get anywhere on the surface streets and get to where you need to go. Hotel Indigo was great because the food was very […] good for staying in and doing work,, Nice casual Italian a block away. If you wanted to drive to nicer areas only 5- 10 min up Peachtree and your in Buckhead or Virginia Highlands the other way. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Watch the Parking, very safe but can add to the bill. I will stay here again Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"In town for concert"
I was in Atlanta for the Usher concert and chose this hotel as it was in my comfort level when I decided to spend extra on a downtown hotel room. The pictures made the lobby look really nice and cool, but wasn't really impressed in person. My room was small and bathroom even smaller! I could literally barely turn around in the amount of space given […] between the sick and toilet. You do have to walk outside from the parking garage into the hotel, no skywalk connected. On the upside though staff very nice and friendly. The next morning ran into the same staff member who checked me in and he greeted me by name. I like that and found that very personal. I did pay a dollar more to include breakfast which is good because a small glass of pulpy orange juice is $3.50! Thank goodness my breakfast voucher was up to $24. Unfortunately for the price I wouldn't stay here again as I did expect a little more. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Great stay. Rooms are tiny but that was expected from an old, renovated buildingGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Mario meets indigo"
Was cool - only issue was the breakfast wasn't free and I get hungry in the morning but whatever second was I didn't know i had to put a security deposit up on my room that was a little annoying because no one warned me - if i knew i would have brought that extra cash!! But hotel is dope and i will deff be staying there again :)Genuine Expedia guest review
"Don't hold my credit card funds for prepaid stay"
The only problem was with credit card processing. Although my reservation was prepaid on hotels.com they still ran my Amex for the full room and tx rate which held funds for three business days after checkout.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not impressed- sometimes you get what you pay for"
I tried this hotel out because I was paying for this trip myself and the price was cheap, seemed like it had some good reviews and was in a decent part of midtown. I was very underwhelmed by the place- the lobby was fine- popular bar area, didn't spend really any time there. I was not impressed by the room- it had a slightly weird smell, like lingering […] smoke from years ago but it just stays because the carpet and furniture were never cleaned or replaced. Room was small, but that's fine- I did like the fact that it had a refrigerator, but the bathroom was teeny. The worst parts of the stay were that a) parking was super expensive in the garage next to the hotel- it was basically a quarter of what I paid for the room, which definitely took away from any perceived money savings, and b) I had to turn on the AC during the night because the room was stuffy, and every time it kicked on, the unit made so much noise it woke me up; needless to say, I did not get a good night's sleep. When I told the staff at check-out, they offered me a cup of coffee in the lobby as compensation (really?), but I didn't have time to stay and hang out because I needed to head to work. I was left wishing I stayed at either the Georgian Terrace (located next door), or at a B&B where the parking would be free and I would have gotten a nice breakfast! "The Hotel Indigo"
Room was comfortable, I like the appearance and feel of the hotel. The bathroom was very small with no fan. Other than that, I was pleased. Had breakfast at the hotel, which was fine, and the hotel is within walking distance of several stores.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location, but..."
Rooms are very small, and the bathroom the size of a matchbox! Restaurant closes too early, we went to show at the Fox and wanted to return for a light evening meal and nothing was available.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very Small Rooms"
Worlds smallest bathrooms, clean rooms, hotel staff was ok, slow bar serviceGenuine Expedia guest review
Great lil hotel. Perfection location. Right next to the MARTA station, literally up the street less than 3 min. Great location.. Great restaurant across the street, walking distance to a CVS, Starbucks, FOX theatre, and many more.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Enjoyable.Perfect place to stay overnight after attending events at Fox. Only wish restaurant stayed open later so you could eat with out leaving the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect for one."
The location is very convenient to GA Tech. While small, the lobby is inviting, and service is friendly and efficient. The room and bath size are perfect for one, but probably a bit tight for more.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Needs some tweaking on service."
We live in outside the city of Atlanta, and occasionally go to Midtown to enjoy the restaurants and sights. This is the first time at Hotel Indigo after having stayed at another hotel nearby which we like very much. We had stayed at a couple of Hotel Indigo hotels in London and one in Asheville and liked the boutique-y feel of their concept. That said, […] and though our stay was only one night, the Atlanta site could use a bit of tweaking, particularly for the price. The room was small which we expected, but the bathroom was ridiculous. My husband and I are tall and could barely fit into the bathroom. Also, there were little details that showed a lack of oversight. The coffee/tea available only had one coffee packet. We dropped into the bar for a nightcap and the bartenders spent most of the time we were there mopping up the floor in front of us because a beer keg had spilled beer all over the floor. That night we were jarred awake by a toddler who had been let loose in the halls at 3:30 a.m. and was screaming and running for over an hour. I will say that when we checked out and I mentioned these things, the desk clerk was very apologetic and asked how he could make it up to us....maybe a bottle of water for the road? Uh....really? How about offering a discount on our room? Anyway, given our experience we'll go back to our usual place where we feel like we are appreciated and treated extremely well. Response by Hotel Indigo Atlanta Midtown Dear James from big d - Thank you for being our guest and for taking time to share your sentiments from your recent stay. I am sorry we did not inspire you enough to earn a higher rating. We are about to begin phase 3 of our renovation, giving us a new, more cohesive design in our guest floor corridors and meeting rooms. I hope you will check back in a couple of months to check it out. We'd love to have the chance to impress you. Best regards, Gabriele Webster, General Manager
"Great hotel, but tiny bathroom, & parking is tough"
If you're driving reconsider staying here - it is directly across the street from the Fox Theater. Traffic and getting into the parking garage can be a nightmare. Otherwise it's a great neighborhood.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Wouldn't stay here again"
The lobby is beautiful, but the rooms are ridiculously small and the bathroom is a joke! For $75 more a night, we could have stayed at the W. Definitely not worth your money and rather disappointed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great staff but be prepared to pay for extras"
Like other Hotel Indigos, a hip place with good people; my only problem was after seeing that hotel parking was $25/night, I chose to park on street a few blocks away but in order to feed meter had to be there by 7 AM. Got there by 7:30 and already had a $35 parking fine! So pay the $25 and sleep easy! Some good bars/eating places within walking distance […] and also at hotel. "Lovely boutique hotel, helpful staff!"
I really enjoyed my stay! I would certainly return. The rooms were appointed very well, they're small, but have a lot of character. The lobby and hotel staff was wonderful. I forgot toothpaste and they quickly got me some, they have free printing for boarding passes, they stored my bags all day, and gave me helpful directions. I took the train to-and-from […] the airport with total ease! I highly recommend! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel, tiny bathroom"
We really enjoyed our stay - it's a nice hotel but the bathroom was ridiculously small. It felt European - you could literally wash your hands while seated on the commode and needed to remove the toilet paper from the wall to reach it. That said, the shower was actually very spacious and was probably bigger than the rest of the bathroom.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice. Should have complimentary breakfast fr the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel was perfect for my friend and I for a relaxing weekend in Atlanta. The rooms were clean and the staff is great. My only complaint was the bartender at the bar downstairs...he was a bit rude. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Needs Sprucing Up"
After reading previous reviews I knew what my expectations should be. Older hotel, small rms, small bathrms, eclectic décor. The lobby was clean and trendy. There was one person working the desk but luckily it was not crowded. 2 small elevators to take you to your rm. But they also have stairs that are quicker if you are on a lower floor. We were on […] the 2nd floor with a view of the FOX. The bthrm was the smallest I have ever seen. You can sit on the potty and wash your hands at the same time....think cruise ship. The flooring needs to be replaced... it is laminate made to look like wood and had a few tear marks. It is an old building so all the AC units are in the windows. The walls are old stucco and painted. They did not have blackout curtains so when the sun comes up...you are up. The bed was comfy. This hotel has a decent price and location and since we were only there for 1 night it was not that big of a deal. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Cute boutique hotel in a central location"
I really wanted to like this hotel more, but after a long day of traveling I was disappointed that our room wasn't quite what I expected. A small room, with an even tinier bathroom, the entire room smelled like fresh paint that was still drying. The bathroom was miniature! Even the thinnest and fittest folks would be touching the sink as they were using […] the toilet, god forbide you try to do a 360 in that bathroom! The decor was cute, but looked a bit shabby and worn down. Location was pretty great and the staff was friendly from the limited interaction I had with them. I did get a knock on my door at 8am for house cleaning...I also had a staff member open the door while my boyfriend was changing, mistakenly thinking the room was vacant for some reasons! "Nice place and able to park car without valet"
Hotel Indigo was very nice. I really like being able to park and go as I please without having to use a valet. The room was clean and roomy. They hadn't made up the room by 3pm and I could not get a safety deposit box---only complaints. The rest of the stay was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Boutique hotel with outstanding customer service"
We stayed there recently on a Braves/Six Flags combo trip. Nice hotel with cool decor, right across from the Fox Theatre. The bathrooms are indeed small; only possible complaint here. I mean, *really* tiny. But the staff here are super friendly, and were helpful with food suggestions and minor accessories for the room (we requested a razor, mouthwash, […] and even a bottle opener...all were provided with a smile.) We'd definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"close to the fox"
good location but small repeat small bathrooms. also the additional fee for parking makes the cost quite a bit to much for overall.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I liked the hotel and convenient location. I realize it is a historic building and was warned by the front desk clerk, but the bathroom was too teeny. Even so, it was easy parking at the Georgian Terrace parking garage and pleasant enough overall. I think it was a good value for an Atlanta hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Toto show at the Fox Theater"
With the exception of the high price of parking @ $25 per day and the very small bathroom the stay was very comfortable and all of the staff were friendly and professional.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel- but really small room and bathroom"
The hotel is in centralized location in Midtown were you can walk to different events downtown. The hotel service was good and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Our only complaint is the bathroom was really small, so if you are claustrophobic, this is not the hotel for you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"31 out of 35"
I only gave a lower rating because of the bathroom. It was too small! I am 5'2 and I actually hit my head on the sink pulling my pants up! The toilet and the sink are right in front of each other with a little "wiggle room" between them. The staff was amazing and I loved the decor in the hotel/rooms.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Small rooms but lots of charm"
We were attending a wedding at The Fox, so convenience was the key. The hotel is truly charming -- a mix of wonderful old architecture combined with modern/eclectic elements -- a great fun combination. Our room was very small, our bathroom tiny, but all we needed was a clean place to shower and sleep for one night and this fit the bill perfectly. The […] hotel staff is OUTSTANDING. They went out of their way to be helpful -- especially Earl at the front desk -- he was wonderful when our van got stuck in the parking deck and we had to park it outside on the drive -- and Earl ensured that would be just fine and provided the appropriate paperwork so we would not get towed. We will definitely stay there again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
