Mediocre at best. Staff was pleasant and helpful. We had small ants crawling on our night-table when we woke up in the morning. Front desk was pleasant and placed in another comparable room. Elevators were terribly slow. It was faster for us to walk up three flights of stairs rather than take the elevator. Vending and ice machine was on the floor below, […] thus another stair trip or take the slow elevator. Breakfast offering was average; typical pre-fab'd eggs with fake cheese, dry sausages. The access to the hotel from the road is fine if you come off the interstate. Coming West from the main attraction area you are forced to go down the road about a quarter mile and then do a U-turn to get back to the hotel. The price charged greatly exceeded the value received. The room was great, but a little tight for wheelchair access with the extra bed in there I didn't need. The length of the shower hose wasn't long enough for the location of the seat, which was very disappointing. The sink was a little too high as well. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. The staff were very pleasent and Breakfast was very good. I had only two complaints. The elevator needs service ASAP. it is scary the sound it makes and the door closes on you. I also did not like the pillows which is easy to remedy I will bring my own next visit. We will stay again at this hotel.

Hotel is conveniently located across from the new shopping area and local restaurants. 5 minute driving distance to interstate, Convention Center, and Hampton Coliseum. The room was nice and very clean, but it was pretty small. They only have one ice machine on the second floor, and the elevator is a little sketchy. The surrounding area is undergoing construction, but it didn't seem to bother us. It's in a nice convenient location, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is obviously old but it didn't smell funky and the rooms were kept clean--the public spaces could use a touch-up of paint and such. The elevators were incredibly slow, however. Staying for the night was fine--wouldn't want to stay for a longer time.
