The alarm went off late in the morning and was going off for some time. After the alarm was shut off it went off again and i was not able to get any sleep; however, I had to check out the morning and drive back to Charlotte, NC a four hour drive!Genuine Expedia guest review

To me, the best part of this hotel was getting to bring my 2 dogs along. The holel has a huge lot in the back where dogs can go. One afternoon the traffic was so busy behind the hotel cars were at a standstill. One lady told me the civic center was having a launching. At first I thought they were launching a new product, but I came to realize she was […] trying to say luncheon in that NC accent LOL. Expedia told me the pool would be open, which was not true. The TV had plenty of channels. The resturant was okay, if you like SMALL portions. The breakfast for $14 was okay, but not as good as other breakfast buffets I have been to. The bar and food were pretty good. Overall, the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The air conditioning temporarily quit working, but the hotel was right on top of getting it fixed. My bathtub was stopped up and maintenance fixed it immediately. The beds were ultra comfortable and the pillows were so so very good - I had to stop myself from taking them home LOL. Stayed here for a night for a residency interview. The rooms were very clean *especially the bedsheets, I'm a bit picky about them* Morning breakfast buffet was superb. Arranged for airport pick-up. Courteous staff. Great for a short stay!

The hotel staff were fabulous especially Niki! I was upgraded to a room with a pull-out couch without asking. The room was quiet and the heating system worked well. I had the breakfast buffet which was excellent. Printing was free. The fitness room had complimentary headphones. Free shuttle to and from the airport was provided. The gentleman who drove the shuttle was very kind and offered to take me to nearby places. The only thing I didn't like was that the pool is an outdoor pool and so I couldn't use it because of rain and the bedding was a little light. Overall great hotel.

I truly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Very clean, friendly people and good ameneties. I will be staying here for another 4 weeks and am looking forward to it all. The beds were wonderful and I slept very soundly. The room was quiet, the bartender and bar/wait staff was very responsive and polite.
"Disappointed with Hilton"

During the New Year's holiday My wife and I stayed at this Hilton property for two nights and were truly disappointed. Low occupancy should not be a reason for NO HOT WATER. Maintenance person said it was due to our room being at the end of the hall. That didn't help, nor did the front desk's advice to "let it run for a while." If Hilton is trying to conserve natural resources, this is not the way to do it! I did, however, take their advice, turned on the shower, and went back to bed. After a half an hour we had hot water- and a full tub because the drain didn't work either. There were numerous other small issues that made our stay less than pleasant- from terrible coffee, to a non-visible clock, to a non-working sink drain, etc. Nothing big, but certainly not what I expect from Hilton. The front desk personnel listened politely, but I doubt if any of my comments went any further. The best experience I had was with Brenda, a maintenance woman who was pleasant, cheerful, and hardworking. It is not easy to keep the common areas as spotless as she had done. Kudos to her!

We enjoyed our stay for New Year's. We booked our room here for the New Year's Eve Party. The Hilton in Greenville is a great venue with even better entertainment, the band Spare Change. Would recommend this hotel and the accommodations and will go again next year.

Convenient location, great lobby, bar and internet café. Breakfast is expensive and not worth the price, Visit other locations for breakfast. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfy. Beds are fantastic! My bathroom toilet seat was wobbly but was fixed immediately.

You must stand four hours listening to a super loud lousy band for which you cannot begin to dance to. Dining room had separate person playing so loud that you could not hear the person sitting next to you. Waiter service terrible. Just a drunken brawl. The the worst New Years Eve party in the country.

I had a birthday dinner for my mom at this hotel in the Carolina ballroom and it turned out great. The food was delicious, wait staff and host were exceptional. The rooms are a bit antiquated, but the service makes up for this deficiency.

Overall pleasant stay over Christmas. Being from Florida and in the hospitality industry I'm used to hotels being open year round, even the restaurants in the hotels during the holidays. That's just the nature of the business. This hotel had every aspect of their location shut down on Christmas Day, except the front desk. Not a big deal. Day after Christmas we are in the restaurant, food was average. Worst part was the cook kept coming out of the kitchen making faces and complains to the wait staff about late comers to breakfast. He should stay in the kitchen. Not his problem if someone shows up a 5 till 10. Just focus on his job. Wrong attitude for the business.

Did not partake of hotel dining. Location was great, but entry into traffic flow needs addressing. Shower curtain could be a few inches longer to keep it from coming out of the tub. Should have four towels instead of three.
