This place is fantastic, breakfast is much more than just toast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good friendly staff, good location, great continental breakfast. Room was nice though it was close to the rear exit and we could hear the door close every time someone walked through. High price for the quality but it was somewhat convenient to get to Okemo. The lady who stocked the breakfast was very friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good bargain for a what you get"
This was my second time staying here rooms are nice and spacious decor is more modern than you would expect. If you are looking for an affordable decent place to stay near killington I would recommend. They also have a great spread for their continental breakfast.Genuine Expedia guest review

Upon entering the room it was cold. Front desk was notified. A repairman responded immediately. if you are looking for basic, clean, room with a good price, then this is a great place to stay! we're a family of snowboarders and the mountains are just 20-30 minutes away (Pico, Killington and Okemo) breakfast is served as early as 630AM which is great since we try to be on the mountain for first tracks!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Too much chlorine in the poolGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We were looking for a comfortable place to rest after a day of skiing. We didn´t want to spend too much money, but we didn´t want to stay in a dump either. We have come to like Comfort Inns but this one was nothing like the one we stayed in in Durham, NH. We give it a bare pass.Genuine Expedia guest review
"descent hotel, unkempt facilities"
the room was big and descently clean and had a nice bathroom. the lobby we had to walk through to get to our room had two bathrooms, one of which was out of service and smelled up the whole lobby for the three days we were there. no one was working on it during that time.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Front End Receptionist is a liar!"
I booked this motel due its indoor swimming pool. I called the day before our arrival to check to see if the pool was open. I was told it was. After arriving my sons and I went for a swim. The pool was very cold. I asked the reception if the pool heat could be turned up. I was told yes. This was after maintenance working hours which I later found out. […] So naturally maintenance never came because they were not even on site so the pool remained cold. The next day I found out that the pool was out of order for the last several days and they were awaiting a heating element. Front end Reception was dishonest and was abrasive and definitely not front end material. The rest of staff were friendly nice and professional. On our first night our room heater was not working properly. Initially it worked but later in the night it was only blowing cold air. It was fixed during the day of our second night. But what a way to spend our first night. Cold pool and a cold room. When I book a hotel for their pool, call day before to confirm it is in operation, I expect to get what I paid for. It is for these reasons I cannot recommend this hotel as I would not stay at it again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"You get what you pay for."
Picked the Comfort Inn because of it's proximity to Killington mountain and its low cost. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was better than I expected. Eggs and sausage were served. There is a small hot tub and a cold pool. I discovered that my bathroom toilet seat was not clean after I had unpacked all of my belongings and made myself […] comfortable in the room. I notified the front desk and asked if someone could clean the seat for me. The attendant offered to switch my room immediately, but he was unable to send anyone to the room to clean the seat. It was about 7 pm on a weeknight and I guess no maids were on duty. The attendant, a nice guy a the front desk, offered to clean the seat himself but said that he was the only one in the hotel and could not leave the front desk. I asked him for some cleaning supplies so that I could clean the seat myself. The gentleman was reluctant, but gave me some cleaner and a dirty rag to do the deed myself. I didn't want to switch rooms because I had already unpacked so much crap. The attendant told me that he put a note in the system for the manager to see if he could adjust my rate, but he was unsure if this could be done since I booked the room from expedia. I never received an adjustment. Life goes on! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"great for college visits"
The staff at Comfort Inn were some of the friendliest people I've had the pleasure of dealing with. They were helpful in recommending a nice family type of restaurant for us to eat at. There were a few things wrong with the room...clock radio provided did not work, some wall paper was starting to peel, little things like that, but the whole facility […] was very clean. The location right in Rutland and right off Route 4 was very convenient. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This place has ridiculously comfortable beds, and that's coming from a guy who's spent a lot of time in hotel beds. The place isn't particularly modern, but don't count that against it: it's quiet, pleasant, the staff is absolutely awesome, and did I mention the beds are ridiculously comfy? Nice shower, too!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Overall good value for price"
The bed was comfortable and, if I hadn't noticed some hairs on the bathroom floor that could not have belonged to either my husband or myself as soon as I arrived, I probably would have rated it higher. The rug in the room didn't feel clean either so I was glad we both brought slippers. The "scrambled eggs" in the comp breakfast were from a microwave. […] We don't eat flour or sugar so the waffles were not an option though they looked delicious. Would probably try a different hotel the next time we are in the area. Staff was helpful, room relatively clean, free breakfast was very good, short drive to Killington, plenty of dining options around for every appetite. Would definitely stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient to our site seeing trips"
Advised by staff Inn going to be renovated. Staff made up by their friendliness and care any deficiencies in structure. Breakfast much better than stay at another chain previous nights. Room size larger, towels even thicker and rate was lower. Pool looked good too.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Paper thin walls and chronic door slammers"
Second and last time I will stay at this hotel. The first time, horrible. Noisy with door slammings until early morning-finally quieted down around 1am. Vowed never again. Attended weekend wedding and wanted to stay with relatives in same hotel. Warned the relatives, but they wanted to stay. Same issues, kids running & yelling in halls, doors slamming […] constantly-it was like a Scooby Doo cartoon! Called front desk and manager did come up and speak to 'guests.' Did quiet down. Too bad, the hotel was clean inside and out, nice breakfast and nice staff. I usually like the Comfort Inn chain and generally feel the hotels are a good value. Will never stay in Rutland Comfort Inn again. Fool me twice... Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Decent & clean facility, friendly & helpful staff"
We had a good stay here. Although this is a budget hotel on a busy road, it is clean, comfortable, and offers friendly staff and a very good breakfast. I would stay here again. It's well located, right on Rt. 7 and near some pretty towns. We enjoyed visiting Brandon, an attractive small town not far away. Lovely countryside. There is a road north that […] runs parallel to RT. 7 and between it and Lake Champlain; it is a lovely ride. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Nice clean rooms for an inn which is somewhat dated. Breakfast bar was excellent. Rooms were very clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
The Inn was close enough that my husband's family was able to meet us in Rutland for dinner Saturday night and we had our own family reunion before we all met in Addison, Vt . the next day for the Family Reunion. "I'm keeping my fingers crossed..."
There was a glitch when we arrived. Though my reservation CLEARLY stated that we were going to be there for one night, Sunday the 11th, when I got there, the desk clerk had listed me as a no-show for the night before. When I pointed out on THEIR reservation slip that we were not due until the 11th, she was very accommodating and gave us a room and said […] that she had charged the room for the night before, but was not going to charge us for the correct night. Since I HAD ALREADY PAID via Hotels.com, this made me worry: am I going to be charged TWICE now? This would be the first time I had a problem with Hotels.com, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. "Very pleasantly surprised!"
The hotel was a bargain for the price we paid. Spacious with a microwave, fridge and big tv. We had a good sized bathroom with fluffy towels. The room was very clean. Obviously it is not 5 star but for a Comfort Inn I was very impressed. I would stay here again and not hesitate to recommend it to friends.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very good, with the exception of the moring coffee"
Enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly, room was clean, reasonably priced. The breakfast is adequate, but the coffee is awful. The breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly. We would have liked to use the pool, but it was so hot in the pool room from the heated pool, it wasn't desirable. We will be staying again in the near future for another trip […] there. "Great Price, Location and Service - just unlucky.."
Hotel was in great overall shape. Rooms were very clean. Staff was very friendly. However, it just happened to be in the 90s and the air condition in the hotel was broken. New tower on it's way but I just happened to be there prior to it's arrival. Otherwise, all was good. Lack of air conditioning is the only reason for my low ratings.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"get what youi pay for"
I was greeted at the front desk by this guy who didn't ask for my name, assumed I was with a guy that was standing by the door and told me I only had one night booked instead of 2. When I said I paid for 2 nights he got an attitude until he realized he messed up. It was decent, nice neighborhood. The most uncomfortable pillows 0- bring your own.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable place to stay in Rutland!"
The room was roomy and very comfortable. Other than a sticking faucet and light switch , everything was great. The staff was terrific, and the breakfast was delicious...plenty of variety. A good deal for the money! will stay there again when we come to Rutland!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Have not stayed at a Comfort Inn and thought would give it a try. Pictures online seemed to make this hotel a nice choice for staying. On a positive note, the employees were very friendly. The negatives of our stay - had hard, beetle type bugs on floor so we kept everything off the floor; - bathroom plumbing leaked water everytime the faucet was used […] on the floor; - AC/Heat unit in room didn't work properly. We couldn't cool off the room; due to the fan limitation was only low that could be used; therefore, it was more like lukewarm air transmitting out unless you were sitting right on top of the unit then you could feel the faint cool air. Therefore, we had to open a window for air and there weren't any screens in the window. Even though we were located on the second floor, I kept thinking of a bat or some other kind of insect/animal that would find it's way into our room. LIke I said, this was our first time staying at a Comfort Inn; however, I don't believe I will be staying in another one. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Decent Cheap Hotel in a Good Location"
We stayed here for two nights in February in order to ski at Killington. Killington is only about 15 minutes from the hotel so the location is good. The hotel itself is about what you would expect from a cheaper scale hotel: very little noise insulation, average to below average upkeep, and average to below average comfort. We were stuck in a room right […] beside a hallway door so you could hear every person who came down the hallway. Also, our room door rattled anytime anyone walked by. The heater put out very little heat and rattled as well. Now that I think about it, this hotel has very little going for it other than it's cheaper than staying in Killington and it's not that far away. We won't be staying there again. "Stayed years ago when it was new, just stayed agai"
Stayed years ago when it was brand new and we were back in the area and it was our first choice. Close to downtown Rutland where our function was being held. Having breakfast included certainly helped with expenses.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I went with a couple of friends snowboarding at killington. Initially we wanted a closer place, but due to the fact that it was the holiday season and we wanted a place with a jacuzzi for decent price we settled on this hotel. I'm very picky; cleanliness and good beds are by far the most important things. The beds in this place were fairly new and […] very comfortable, as well as while its not newly renovated its still a very clean place. The jacuzzi was empty at night, which was great for us. The breakfast was a regular hotel breakfast - nothing too exciting, but then again that's not something that's a primary concern to me. Overall, friendly (obviously, its VT) and helpful staff, a clean and comfortable place with a pool and jacuzzi, all at an affordable rate make me want to drive the extra 15 minutes.
