"College Girlfriends Getaway"
My college girlfriends and I came to Memphis for our annual weekend getaway - which we've been doing for 15 years. An amazing town and an amazing hotel. We all agreed, it was our best trip yet! All I can say is, If you're going to Memphis, stay at the Peabody. The service, location and, of course, the ducks, can't be beat!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Help i need coffee !!!"
The biggest problem for me was getting my morning coffee.. None in the room and very difficult to find the complimentary coffee they had from 6-9 am. It was very nice other than thatGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stay at the peabody"
Excellent place to stay in Memphis. Set the tone for the entire trip! Excellent location. Ducks are so fun to watch. Rooms are very nice, bathrooms are a bit small, but very clean. Created such a fun atmosphere. Staff was very helpful. Would recommend staying at The PeabodyGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Great location- wonderful hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I think the hotel rooms should be updated to include mini bars and coffee service, just to mention a few amenities that visitors should be able to enjoy in a 4 star hotel. I realize it is a grand old hotel, but all hotel rooms should be 'refreshed ' periodically.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Weekend at The Peabody"
Great hotel, friendly staff. Our room on the 10th floor near the elevator had very poor WiFi connection, otherwise the stay was perfect.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel. ..but noisy"
Great hotel but very noisy during the night. Doors being slammed and the maid started vacuuming at 8 a.m. Not a place for peace and quite.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"The Peabody Memphis Is Over rated"
The Peabody Memphis is over rated. We booked a Superior Room. The room and the restroom was smaller than we imagined. Don't except a complimentary breakfast. Make sure that you let the housekeeping svc no that you would like you linen changed or they don't change them. They could spend a little more time on cleanliness in the rooms when it comes to […] the carpet. And the valet service is slow for some of us. You pay for everything!!!!!! "Couldn't Find Reservation"
Our stay at this beautifully maintained property was top-rate. I would definitely stay here again, however, our reservation, made through Hotels.com, couldn't be found. It took the clerk 25 minutes before she was able to check us in, even with our confirmation number. Still don't know if it was Hotels.com's fault or the hotel...embarrassing as well […] as frustrating. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful Property Great Location"
We booked our stay through Hotels.com. When we arrived we were told that we our King room was not available and that since we did not book directly with the Hotel our reservation for that type of room was not guaranteed. The desk clerk was accommodating and waived the upgrade fee since it was our wedding night. The Hotel Staff was very courteous and […] accommodating. We enjoyed our stay. "Absolutely enjoyed our stay."
We stayed at the Peabody returning from a historic visit to Northern Mississippi. We got into town and saw the parade of the ducks. Our accommodations were wonderful as the lounge was grand. Gin Martini decent also. Walked to Beale Street for a fun time. Overall the stay was outstanding.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was almost perfect. We did have a leaky toilet that appeared on our 2nd day. That was not a terrible inconvenience as a couple of towels were able to contain it. What was unusual was we reported the leak at approx 10am as we left the hotel for the day and a maintainence man showed up at 10:30pm that nightGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The stay in the Peabody was most enjoyable. The shops the duck walk was all just awesome! However, a reservation with a queen bed the space was quite small. And, The history of what the peabody hold is just amazing. I would love to stay there again. The experience was wonderful!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Graceland, Sun Studios, Beale Street, Gibson"

"A most memorable place"
We loved the Hotel from the moment we walked into the gorgeous lobby. It was definitely a happening! The bar and filled tables and sofas all around...the fountain, the ceiling, the marble the levels, and, of course the Fabulous Duckmaster and the ducks !!!!! The rooftop with the beautiful views and bar. Our room was beautiful. The location was perfect […] for walking to restaurants and Beale Street. The civil Rights Museum was nearby as well as all roads that lead to other sites like Graceland. It was a most special visit that we will never forget! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Bucket List Item"
The Peabody and their Duck March has been an item on my bucket list since I first learned of it about 10 years ago. It was a great experience and I can't wait to go back! The room was clean and well-appointed with plenty of room and a great bed, the staff friendly and welcoming and eager to help. The place was teeming with guests yet the staff made […] us feel as if we were the only ones there. Room service was quick and very good, a little pricey for an omelette but given the star rating, to be expected. The Duck March was so fun and lively! The surrounding area is a bit sketchy at night coming in from out of town but I was aware of Memphis' reputation beforehand and went directly to the hotel since it was so late. Would have loved to take the hotel history tour but ran out of time. Beautiful hotel in so many ways -- fountains, decorated ceilings, shopping opps galore! They let me keep my keys as a souvenir and the Duck Master signed my book from the gift shop too. Looking forward to taking a trip there again soon! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Requested a king and received double. Not that great. I won't stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was superb.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We loved our stay at The Peabody. It is an old classic that makes one feel pampered, not rushed. Why stay at a cookie cutter hotel when one can stay in a bit of history?Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"What a hotel should be: Grand!"
We found ourselves swept back in time because of the service. The staff did everything they could to make our stay amazing. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the Peabody Club. The extra money is more than compensated for in the upgraded amenities such as breakfast and the evening snacks. The spa was great, and our massage and mani-pedi was a bargain. […] The duck parade is whimsical and perfectly Southern. All of the downtown attractions are in walking distance, perfect for walking off rich food, and we felt safe all the time. Ignore the panhandlers and just go have fun. We will be going back! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Southern Hospitality at its Finest"
Seriously, The Peabody should be responsible for training every employee of any type of hospitality / retail resort in the country. EVERYONE was over the top nice and helpful with a smile on their face. Beautiful hotel in a great area. Wish I could have stayed longer!Genuine Expedia guest review
"nice but over rated"
for what it cost to stay here you wouldn't think it would there would be extra charges for a newspaper the fitness center or even the coffee that you can only get until 9:00 am. there are other very nice places available in the area that I will choose from next time.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Staying at the Peabody"
We enjoyed our stay at The Peabody. It was highly recommended to us and pretty much lived up to its reputation. However the double beds seemed a little on the small side compared to other hotels we have stayed in and also the service in one of the bars was not very good and there was a long wait for drinks etc. These are only minor things but I think […] they could be addressed for future guests. The overall standard of the hotel was wonderful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"The Place to Be during Elvis week!"
I booked this hotel along with VIP tickets to the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Contest for my mother. She has went through many trying times in the last year and really needed a pick-me-up. All I've heard is about what a great trip and what a nice hotel. She said they felt like VIPs!Genuine Expedia guest review

"A Southern Classic"
Anyone that knows Memphis knows this is the crown jewel of the South. From the ducks to the food everything is memorable. I had a double room and the bathroom is very crowded with a pedestal sink with zero counter space. The sink has a very tall mirror in front of it and they would have been better to shorten the mirror and allow for a shelf to put […] even a toothbrush. That being said I will definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Beale street."
Absolutely loved the hotel--beautiful. Enjoyed the piano in the lobby. The ducks are a must see. Our room had updated beds, but you could barely get into the bathroom, it is so very very tiny. standing sink--no place to put a hair dryer, or make up. Very inconvenient. Parking is awful. Long way to walk afte parking (w/luggage) when you do find the parking […] lot! My recommendation: You MUST see the hotel, but stay someplace cheaper. Paying $277 a night for the room is ridiculous. I'd recommend Westin near beale st. sorry!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful old hotel, close to everything"
This is my second stay here in two years. the staff are very professional, the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are remodeled, but there is only so much you can do without gutting everything, so they are a little worn. Bathrooms are small. Beds very comfortable etc. Wonderful bar in lobby and by street, both with piano players. I have no idea why, but […] I could stare at the ducks in the fountain for an hour if I wanted to. This hotel is very close to Beale street, Many restaurants, Sun records, etc. We walked to everything but Graceland which is about a 12 minute drive away. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Extremely disappointing - MOLD in bath & more"
Extensive mold found in bath tub. Staff was unwilling to let me speak with the mgr. As I had a cell ohone photo, they eventually got maintance satff on it and offered an upgrade & did not honor the comimentary parking offered. Staff was certainly NOT as friendly/attentive as other hotels on our trip. On asking about a business center for a printer for […] our boarding passes, we were told there is none and could use a FedEx office. The hotel is definately living off of its past reputation. "Grand hotel, lacked the fine touches"
While the hotel itself was great, the service wasn't what you'd expect from a nice hotel. We ordered a crib for our room, when the gentleman arrived with a pack and play I showed him where I'd like it set up. He simply dropped the pack and play and left - didn't set it up. After dinner we got back to our room and there was a random mini refrigerator […] dropped in the middle of our floor - turned over on its side. While we didn't order a refrigerator we were glad to have it bc of the baby. However - I was surprised that somebody would have dropped in the middle of the floor - and not set it up and plug it in before they left the room. The next morning we ordered room service with coffee and we didn't get cream or sugar. The line at the Concierge service was always long and slow. The woman was clearly the only person working and it was evident that the hotel needed more than one Concierge. All and all my complaints are minor. My point is that while it appears to be a high quality hotel, all of the small touches with customer service are missing. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Hotel in a mediocre area"
Hotel is an oasis in a desert. Hotel & staff are 1st rate - the club fllor is well worth the extra cost. Beautiful views from the roof.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Wonderful hotel/loud Elevator"
We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Our only complaint was the elevator noise all night. Our room was next to the elevator. We did not realize that we would be next to an elevator when we booked our reservation.Genuine Expedia guest review
We loved staying in the hotel. The hotel service was excellent. The staff went out of their way to make us happy. The location is perfect. We will definitely stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The "superior" room was very small with a very small bathroom. I had booked a king size bed room overlooking the river. I got two small double beds, with a view of a brick building. The $18.00 per day parking charge is outrageous, and quite frankly, so is the room price. ($355.00 for one night - which would have been ok if the room had actually been […] bigger than a closet, - with comfortable beds - no the price was still outrageous.)The march of the Ducks was cute, nice for the kids, but almost impossible to photograph. the walk from the hotel to the 3d floor parking garage is quite lengthy, with no direct elevator service to the lobby. The beds were not comfortable. I woke up with a back ache. The staff was cordial and knowledgeable. Room service was excellent. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I self parked my vehicle. Hotel added about $30 for "Hotel Fee" & Parking......The history surrounding the Peabody makes staying there unique...the parking makes you want to stay there about once a year.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Fantastic location for this delightful experience."
From arrival to departure we felt that the Peabody Hotel was exactly what we wanted. The staff was always willing to advise, assist, answer questions and always with a smile. Our little group of three spent three nights at the Peabody and were sorry we had to leave since we wanted to visit more attractions on our list. We visited Graceland, spent more […] time than resources felt we would need so we headed to the Arcade Restaurant that Elvis loved and had a very late lunch. Since we were exhausted we sat in the lobby to watch the ducks return to their rooftop lodging before heading to Beale Street. Mud Island was another place we visited and spent more time than resources said to allow. What a treasure that must be for the city of Memphis! From there we went to the Civil Rights Museum and were quite impressed with the way the Museum presented the story of slavery and the tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. We had much more we wanted to do while in Memphis but time just didn't allow.
