Very Relaxing. Great Cusomer Service. Very comfortable beds. The amenities were great! The Pool/Spa was much better than I expected.

Even though Keystone is usually thought of as a skiing destination, when my wife and I stayed there during the Fall it was quite enjoyable. The hotel staff was very courteous and answered any question or request politely. The valet service helped to reduce the impact of parking across the street from the hotel. Overall we were very pleased the hotel and our stay. Items which stopped my rating being all 5's include: no A/C in the room - inop a/c controller. Dissatisfaction with hotel restaurant, 2 bad meals, breakfast and evening meal, very expensive and did not taste good.

My husband and I decided to stay in Keystone in late August. It was a wonderful and beautiful time to stay in the area. The resort was very clean and staff was very friendly. Even the housekeeping staff was open and friendly. In/Around the resort there are many dining choices suitable for family dining. Our daughter, who just turned 2, absolutely loved […] the open water that had a small beach for the kids to play. The best part of the beach is that you don't need to bring your own sand toys because they have some! You also have an option to feed the fish (Which were pretty and big) and the ducks. I've never stayed in a hotel before where all the staff were helpful and friendly like this place. It was awesome! You must do some special training, or else you're just good at screening employees. Very comfortable and quiet. Beds comfortable and not squeaky, but feather pillows were a bit flat and uncomfortable for us & led to 2 nights of restless sleep. I told the desk clerk about the pillow problem at checkout and he told me that they have synthetic pillows available... So I guess I should have complained earlier. Not busy in summer season. Offered coupons for their restaurant and voucher for free golf. Accommodating to needs (refrigerator, humidifier, extra pillows, etc.) Great views. Walk to trails, creek, fishing, paddle boats, bikes, restaurants, shops, etc. Kid friendly. Loft suite gave privacy without having to get 2 rooms.

My husband and I decided to sneak away to the Keystone Lodge and Spa at the last minute to escape the excessive heat in the Denver area on our 5th wedding anniversary. We had no idea what to expect as we are not skiers and have never been to the Colorado ski resorts. Very disatisfied. The room booked and confirmed was not avaialbe which was in the newly updated resort and spa. Instead they put us in an 30 yr old non updated smelly condo not in the main building. We were stuck because we had no choices and the room was already paid for.

Wife and I really enjoyed the place. I'm sure it's busy in ski season but in late June it was dead. Just how I like it. The lounge was so empty at happy hour I almost went up to the bartender and said "Hair of the dog that bit me, Lloyd." The steakhouse was nice also. Very friendly and helpful staff and a well organized shuttle service. The outdoor pool had a very comfortable temperature. We had a loft which was clean and offered more than enough space for the two of us. The bathroom was quite small, but sufficient and clean.

Overall a great place to stay although as near end of seaon various hotel restaurants were sporadically open. Shuttle service was very useful and integral to getting around various ski areas. Beautiful location with great scenery and ambiance. Would definitely stay here again in future travel to Keystone.

What a great resort! Seconds to Keystone ski area-their shuttle takes you straight to the gondola...literally! Staff were very helpful and loved that there were options for restaurants without having to jump in the car! View from room is great, but we had a hard time with altitude. This hotel is quite old but has been maintaine quite will. Rooms were very nice and clean. Each room had a balcony with charis as well as a large flat screen TV with OnDemand. Pool was outdoor, heated and large, the kids loved the it! Spa included 2 hot tubs, steam room & sauna as well as a large workout room. Shuttle service to mountain is included […] in the resort fee. It drops/picks up right at the gondola and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for it. Also complementary ski storage was included in the resort fee as well. This hotel had fantastic set up for the skier, if only the girl on front desk had told us when we checked in. For 2 days we caught the resort bus or wrestled with the car park, walking miles in our ski boots with skis. This was totally unecessary as the hotel had its own mini bus that took you straight to the gondola. also when we checked in they did […] not have our room request. there were 4 of us travelling and we requested 1 room with 2 double beds and 1 King Room. they did not have a King room available and said we had not requested one. It was late , 11:30 pm so we didn't argue and took the double room. When we got to the room we checked the paper work from Expedia and we had in fact requested 1 King. I called the front desk and she said " you requested the room , but you didn't reserve it. She said we should have paid extra to reserve the room. The next day we were able to move into a King room, but this totally ruined the first day and we were unable to ski. Coupled with the fact that she neglected to tell us about the ski arrangement, her performance was dissappointing and annoying. Happily nobody else was so unhelpful, in fact the opposite, Everyone was courteous and went out of their way to help. All in all it was a great stay, but I don't think I would book through Expedia again if the request is not valid. Read more

When asked about the charge and my inability to choose my own rate of gratuity, the hostess was extremely rude and told me that it was charged because there was a large group of Europeans who don't tip. The rooms were very clean with updated furnishings. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. The outdoor heated pool was great for the kids (even in winter). The staff at the hotel and really throughout the resort were very nice.
