Only problem I had was the area that you have to turn into hotel is not clearly marked. You can't see the hotel sign until after you have turned or passed by, wish it was closer to the road. Otherwise great place to stay for the price.

I was there for the LSU Career Fair. Since I'm not familiar with Baton Rouge, it was important to stay someplace close to the university. The hotel was only minutes away from LSU. I stayed here before and after the Louisiana Marathon. It was a great location for everything that I needed. Everything at the hotel was great. It didn't bother me, but if highway noise bothers you, request to stay in a room on the backside of the hotel.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained with all the amenities you would expect from this chain. Main issue was the proximity to the interstate causing loud noise even within room. Ask for a room on non-road side of the hotel.

This was a really nice place to stay except for one thing. The noise from the interstate was so loud it sounded like we were sleeping under an overpass. They need to install glass sliding doors that are much more sound proof. Everything else was great.

My overall stay was well pleasing. My only concern was the knowledge the attendants had regaurding my credit card payment. At the time of our arrival i was told my credit card payment was denied and i would need another form of payment. My brother in law then used his credit card to cover the charges of the rooms. The next morning at check out the attendants […] (which were different from the night before) gave a receipt with my credit card information on it. After inquireing about the results from our checkin, the checkout attendants said they didn't have anything showing My brother in laws card was ever taken or that my card was ever denied. Hopefully our credit card statements will clear up this matter. As for my review this will determine if i will choose or recommend this hotel in the future. I had business at LSU (one exit down the hwy) so picked this hotel. Found a bra in the room, mildew on shower stall floor, my main beef was they have no wifi int he rooms. Cable modem is fine for laptop but devices that require wifi (iphone, itouch, kindle etc) only work in the lobby and this is a LARGE courtyard. !

From the very classy lady on the front desk to the folks serving breakfast to the room cleaners, you couldn't ask to be with nicer people in a nice state. If we visit BTR again, we'll be here.
