Allison at the Concierge desk really made my stay. Within 5 minutes of arriving she had me reserved on a bat boat and gave me great ideas for seeing Austin. I did it all. Walked 15 miles in 2 days, ate great food, heard fabulous music and saw all the sights. Even went to a Day of the Dead party and an Aids Walk. Thank you Allison!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The Omni was a very nice hotel. We made a quick trip to Austin to see our daughter at UT, so unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy the amenities. The swimming pool is really nice. Our only complaint is that our room smelled like smoke. We would want to make sure that did not happen again, since it was a non smoking room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Aweful service and not worth the money"
This hotel was extremely overpriced. I've stayed in the other Austin Omni and it was much nicer. This place was old and outdated. Most nice hotels these days (and even cheap motels) have big fluffy duvets or comforters on the beds. This place had a quilt!!! Also, no carts to bring your luggage up to your room!! I had to make three trips.. No bellboys […] to help and took forever to check in because only one person working desk!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Had a nice time, wish i could of enjoyed a few more days and yhe pool.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed in many different hotels before during my travels and this one made my top 3 hotels. i can just imagine how much better the one in downtown is.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not great value for the money"
The hotel was fine, just not worth the cost. Older hotel with a little facelift. Towels were hard. Staff was kind and accommodating. A maid helped herself to a bottle of our water. Can hear freeway noise.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cheap stay just outside the heart of Austin"
Good stay if you are looking for an alternative place to stay in Austin. Cheaper than the hotels in the heart. Great facilities - with spa, hot room, pool. However, it is getting very old and in need of a renovation. Good if you need a hotel half way between downtown Austin and the airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We loved our stay, and will be back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Old hotel smell"
Updated interiors or not, this Omni stinks - quite literally. It is not a uniform stench as one might imagine. But one that changes daily and by location. Musty Rooms Dank Hallways Stained Carpets Outdated bathrooms (80's at best) Linens were never fresh. Not the expectation we had of an Omni or the hotels.com reviews. Best part of our stay was […] the shower we took at home when we were finally able to wash this hotel off us. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Will definitely stay here again!"
Our stay at the Omni was perfect. The hotel was only minutes away from South Congress, 1st street, and downtown. It was also conviniently located right off the I35, 71, and 290. This made it so easy to navigate through Austin. The hotel was clean, staff was kind and attentive, and the pool was lovely. The will definitely be our hotel of choice when […] staying in Austin. "ACL wknd stay"
I went for ACL wknd with a girlfriend of mine, as soon as we arrived they welcomed us and were very friendly. The hotel is nice , a lot more of older crowd but that didn't bother me , it was pretty cool to hear that the UT players where staying over that same wknd. I enjoyed to see the school spirit ! As soon as we checked in and went to our room, the […] elevators were pretty outdated and looked dingy and creepy. Our room was super nice , clean , well stocked. What i didn't like was that there as no free wi-fi only in the lobby , which sucks because signal was terrible.I also thought the lobby furniture could be a little more updated or at least go thru a deep cleaning , you could see all the dirty and stains on the chairs, I would think because its an Omni chain it would be a little well maintained. Anyway, great stay with a few flaws, it's pricey if you want to buy any drinks or snacks , you would be better off eating outside and bringing in your snacks and drinks. i would say pricey over all. "Omni Austin TX"
I was shocked the Omni did not have free Wi-Fi in the rooms, over the last five years this is the first hotel that charged customers for Wi-Fi separately. Additionally, the mattress was too soft and uncomfortable. Room was clean, fitness facilities were excellent. Elevators did not work properly on Saturday morning early which was a problem.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is a brilliant find for the $ and the quality of the hotel. My wife and I wanted to stay in Austin a night and decided on the Omni Southpark. It did not disappoint, friendly service, clean, great bar!!, pool and not too far away from downtown. Uber was $12-14 each way. The only downside is that it's located just off of I-35 and the highway blocks […] some of the views from your room. Overall, quality hotel! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not on par with my expected Omni experience"
The hotel was tired and old. The maid service failed to remove a half drank glass of tea that was in our room for the entire week. The gym equipment was old and not working property. I love Omni as a brand, but this particular hotel is certainly NOT up to standard.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Older but nice"
Location is really great. Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly and knowledgable. The room is a little older but well maintained. No lights in front of the full length mirror was a minor thing but annoying. All in all nice stay for an Austin hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel and Pool"
This hotel was in a convenient area for us. I love having a restaurant on property!Genuine Expedia guest review
"The Good and the Bad"
The Hotel is located at the intersection of two highways, so expect traffic noise to be part of your accomodations. The furniture is dated, carpets need to be replaced, and the restaurant needs a total overhaul. I ordered breakfast one morning that never arrived before I attended an all day conference off-site. The front desk had little desire to assist […] the misfortune, saying that perhaps my timing in placing the order (calling the night before) was the problem, and I should try calling the morning of instead. Thankfully, another manager later called my room, and offered me free and prompt breakfast service the following morning as apology. So there is a disparity of service - I encountered some amazingly helpful and friendly staff, and others who were rude or completely disinterested in performing their jobs. I wouldn't stay again because of the distance from eateries and shopping (you have to take a cab EVERYWHERE), and also because it wasn't worth the price. Not a 4-star hotel, but a solid 3. "Great location outside of the downtown core"
The hotel staff was very accommodating. I always felt safe, well provided for, and like I was truly welcome.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice but will do some driving."
Overall the hotel was nice, but upon checking we were "greeted" by a person named Kelly. She was not the best - she was short with us and somewhat crass. The room was overall ok, but it faced the highway and so there was a lot of outside noise during the day and night. They should really consider insulation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient hotel in South Austin"
This is a large conference hotel in south Austin at I-35 and US 71/290. I have stayed here several times. The rooms and bed are very comfortable, clean and quiet, even the rooms facing I-35. It has a very nice pool that kids enjoy. The restaurant is nice, but there are many restaurants up and down I-35 as well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Internet is NOT free, no vending machine"
The hotel quality was ok. But internet was not free! And no vending machine. So, I could not but a bottle of water at night. The location is ok but not convenient to find food near by.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We not happy to wait until 430p to get our room. Check in time was 3P. We were tired and thought we could rest before having to get ready for an event by 5p. We had to get ready as soon as we got in our room. Not good at all!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not happy at all"
Hotel was over priced, and needs a serious upgrade. The beds were worn down from too many uses, internet was an extra fee and did not work well at all in the room. The room as well as the lobby smelled moldy. I would NOT recommend this hotel. You pay for everything here, and its not worth it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Football weekend in Austin!"
Perfect location! Not right in the middle of the madness of Austin after a game.. Just far enough awayGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very close to ABIA"
Booked this hotel since we had an early flight and is close to the airport. I think it took us about 7 minutes without traffic to drive too. I will stay here again when flying out of Austin. I didn't have the time but I definitely wanted to swim in that gigantic pool! Maybe next time.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Paper thin walls, close to highway"
The hotel itself was nice and pretty clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was dark at night. Only problem: paper thin walls, and it's next into a highway.Genuine Expedia guest review
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.I think breakfast buffet was expensive and would have rather had queen beds instead of full size.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Easy access to many areas"

"Information prior to booking"
Should be clear that can't get rewards points or wifi if book on another siteGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"An amazing weekend getaway"
The entire staff was friendly, the service was beyond expectation. I would recommend to all. Location was close to downtown Austin, making it easy to have a taxi drive you around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value for the price"
This hotel is a good value for the price I got a room at, marginal if you pay anything close to full price or get any of the pricey extras. Rooms are showing their age, could use some freshening up.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, but service could be better."
My husband and I got a rare weekend away from our two very young children when we visited Austin for a birthday party. We selected the Omni and booked a room. We then later discovered they do NOT honor any Select Guest member benefits when booking from a third party site. We kept our reservation anyway. We ordered breakfast from the small door hanger, […] put it on the door knob the night before, and went to bed. We were looking forward to a leisurely breakfast in bed, except it NEVER CAME. They forgot it. The door hanger was still sitting there on the knob at 7:30 a.m. I called the front desk. They said it was room service's fault. Then room service blamed someone else. Basically the staff all blamed someone else on the staff. They offered us a discount on the to-go food in the lobby gift shop which we politely declined. Strangely, no one apologized. It seems like something small. But that was a big deal for us; a luxury we've not had in ages. It is those little personal touches that keep us returning to a hotel. Those simple points of good service are what get our repeat business. I doubt we will ever return to this one. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Room 1119 had plumbling issues. We woke up to water on the bathroom floor and sewage in the sink Saturday and Sunday. The hotel maintenance attempted to fix the problem however the issue kept coming back. I was informed by the hotel that because I booked thru Hotel.com my room rate could not be adjusted. This was a great inconvenience leaving (4) women […] to use 1 bathroom for the entire stay. I was very disappointed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Fantastic. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Everyone was very attentive and professional. Beautiful hotel and wonderful visit.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
THIS HOTEL WAS AWESOME.. CLEAN, FRIENDLY AND WELL KEPT. ONLY THING I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH WAS THE FACT THAT THE POOL WAS CLOSED FOR CLEANING ON A BEAUTIFUL SUNNY SATURDAY. THE WHOLE DAY!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean hotel, nice rooms, friendly staff"
I stayed here on an off-peak night and the price was right. The location is convenient to south Austin in particular, though not far from downtown. It's right next to two major highways so the views aren't anything to write home about, but the hotel is well-kept and the staff were very friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review
"All that we were looking for"
Came to Austin for a friend's Bachelorette weekend. We were wanting a nice hotel, offering higher end accomodations, that was close enough to Downtown so that the party could be going. Everything was clean as clean as it could've been and the service was A-1 !Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Minor issues to fix"
The shower is unvented and has moisture problems, the maid accidentally left my door open after a cleaning , but the lobby is nice and the fitness facility appealingGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nothing for nothing"
The room was very nice but you had to pay for everything incidental. Your WiFii was extra. No refridg in roomGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Should've planned ahead"
The hotel was nice! I mean really nice. The staff was all very friendly. The rooms a bit small but not bad. Now the reason we booked this hotel was the pool. It's even better in person. The hotel had to shut it down at 1pm on a Saturday because they didn't plan ahead! Not enough chlorine for a busy Labor Day weekend. It's hard telling your two year […] old that the pool is closed. It ruined a whole day. Otherwise I would recommend this place. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location for getting around"
Wonderful for our trip - close to relative's home, and easy access to freeways. Pool was very nice! Hotel staff was very friendly and quite professional, from the valet to the pool guy. Only minor thing - maids don't do a very adequate job of restocking room with towels, coffee, etc.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
