We are extremely disappointed to find out that 2/3 of hotal was under renovation. No gym, no pool. Plaster dust and construction debris in stairwell and hallway. Fire alarms were set off by workers. The renovation was not disclosed that it was not done, it was advertised "newly renovated!"

The hotel was in the middle of a remodel so the normal lobby was the back door to the hotel and the office is a room. Not really a problem. The room was clean. The only issue is the clerk smelled of stale cigarettes.

I did not sleep for two nights, so I checked out early. The mattress was terrible, and the noise level of other guests was ridiculous. Hotel is under construction. Despite being under renovation, service and facilities were good. Breakfast was outstanding, with a man making "to-order" omelets and someone helping make waffles. However, the last day, I had to leave for airport by 7 a.m. and despite breakfast service supposed to start at 6:30, I had to forgo the omelet because the man was not ready and something […] was wrong with the waffle iron. I had trouble regulating the heat on the unit and despite setting it at 60 degrees, it still seemed to warm to me. The cleaning staff seemed to gather right outside my door in the hall and visit while waiting for me to leave. The other thing that didn't really affect me since I left for the day about 10 and did not return until 9 p.m, was that the water was shut off from 1 to 4 every day because of renovation. Things I really liked and appreciated: my room was clean, front desk staff efficient, price I paid was great. While beds are a matter of personal preference, I liked the mattress' firmness. Whil the hotel is undergoing renovation/expansion, the staff was fantastic and the room was clean and just what was needed. I was offered a room on the 2nd floor but did not want to carry my bag up the stairs. The check-oin person offered to carry it up for me. Done!

The hotel was very clean, quiet, and close to family. The breakfast was simple, but did have a variety of foods. Great hotel, was clean clean at all times. Beds were very comfortable, soft but not overly soft. Only drawback is rooms are VERY small. Not too much of an issue but may be more of an issue if you are staying longer or have kids. Breakfast was good, had some kind of variation everyday for a week.
