The hotel staff, including the front desk, parking and suttle service and the bartender and kitchen staff could not have been more kind and accommodating. I was staying at the hotel to be close to Riley Children's hospital and the location was perfect.

Excellent place to stay. Close to downtown. The free shuttle was great. Walk outside the shuttle would take you where you needed to go and give them a call and they picked you up. I stayed here when I came to Indy for a work event at the Zoo, but I have also stayed here when attending athletic events. The hotel is only a few miles away from downtown and the zoo, Lucas Oil. It is right in the center of IU. The property condition is well-kept. The service has always been good. The valet was very quick. The food at the bar which […] is open later has always been good. Parking is 18 dollars, no continental breakfast, service was poor, spiderwebs in the corner of the bathroom. The only possitive part of the hotel was the comfortable bed. Will never stay there again. Been in countless hotels for less than half the price, that have been 10 times better.

If I'm in Indianapolis again I will probably be staying else where for a few reasons. First off, while the staff was indeed very friendly it would have been nice to have been told that there was a parking garage option and that I didn't have to pay the (rather high at 24 dollars a night) valet fee. Secondly the place is in need of some updates. The […] elevators were run down looking and VERY loud and shook quite a bit going both up and down. The room we were in was nice, but the furnature was scuffed, scratched, and just looking worn. For the cost of the room for the night I think they could have had some better stuff in there. It also felt like the bathroom was an after thought. The shower wasn't all that great, and it was very very tiny. The door almost hits the front of the toilet about half way through it's swing. And when my GF and I were both trying to get ready I had to move out into the sleeping area because there wasn't enough room for both of us. Standing side by side. The AC unit in our room also gave off a heavy musty odor when it was running. I didn't mind it so much but my GF made multiple comments about it. Also, there is not breakfast option other than paying for room service (which is a bit high). And finding the place can be a bit of a pain, it is VERY easy to miss if you don't know the area and know what the hotel looks like. Read more

Was a guest of the hotel for a conference. Was charged to park in the "hotels" parking garage a very high rate. Later found out that conference attendees who did not stay in the hotel were able to park for free. Please tell me how this can be? I am a patron of your hotel and a non guest parks for free. The people of Indianapolis are very pleasant, particularly the staff. This is a campus hotel that they're making into a dorm. Still, the grounds are beautiful, the restaurant good & there's the benefit of a campus attention to detail. Nice spot & I'd stay here again.

I checked in late in the evening during the week. I found a parking spot close to the elevator to the hotel and had no problem checking in at the front desk despite arriving around 10:30pm. The room itself was nice and had a relatively large desk and office chair. The bathroom could have been cleaner (very slight dirt in the grout on shower wall tiles), […] but the room as a whole was clean. Bathroom was very basic. Around tub/shower there was broken grout, mildew and peeling caulk. Bed was very uncomfortable. We slept poorly and my husband's neck and back bothered his for some time after our stay. Hotel listed as downtown but really on the edge of midtown. Mile walk at least to dowtown resturaunts.

This is a very small criticism, the ceiling vent in the bathroom was dusty. HOWEVER, EVERYTHING else was super fabulous. Great location, so so comfortable bedding, and the shower, whoa, so contemporary and cool. Loved it. We had dinner and breakfast and both were so wonderful.

They charge $18 for parking and since the University owns the surrounding area there is no other street or lot parking. This is an outrageous fee for Indy. Also there was mold on the bathroom celing.

The location of the hotel was okay. It was located on campus. The staff was not cordial or really concerned about the power outage that made us have no air or lights. They said to us that many of the rooms were experiences the outage and that because it was around 11pm when it happened that everyone is generally sleep and it should be fixed the next […] day. (they were not concerned about giving us another room when I told them that my husband has a c-pap machine that he had to sleep with.) The cleanliness of the room..well the headboard had head marks on them, the wall in the bathroom looked like someone regurgitated, and the remote control had hair all through it and it looked like someone spilled liquid all down the side of the bed..(mind you I seen all this before the lights went out because I inspect every hotel I go to for bedbugs)...Just not a great experience.
