I generally use EXTENDED STAY for longer trips so that I can cook, etc. Because of this history, I knew what I would find at this hotel, and it being so close to the airport made my early departure easy to do. It is challenging to find decent restaurants in the area, and you will need a car to drive a few exits back to find okay ones.

I just stayed one night and I got in real late (not an extended stay like the name says). It's not fancy but it's pretty new and I stayed here for a really low price. It's next to much fancier hotels. If you're going to get in late, go right to bed and get up early and scoot, this place is all you need.

The lady at the front counter is really nice. The airport shuttle drivers are also very helpful. We had a really happy stay even though our flight was cancelled due to snow storm. Weather was bad, but the hotel was excellent. I will stay here the next time.

I checked in late around 9 and the computer was running audit so it took about fifteen minutes to check in but that wasn't a huge deal. Room was great small kitchen was perfect. All appliances were in great condition. Used it as a weekend getaway and couldn't ask for a better deal.DDidn't expect much for the price but was very surprised. Definitely recommend.

I was stranded in Kansas City for two days due to weather and American Airlines :-( . I stayed with Extended Stay for three nights instead of two. The staff was wonderful, understanding, and nice. They even offered to take me to the store to get food and supplies. The room was very nice for a cut-rate hotel.

Needed airport hotel that was inexpensive and clean. The price was excellent and I will be using expedia much more than Oxxxxx. Very clean room. Front desk staff was typical college student who was ok. Certainly would have been better if she had a personality,but what do you expect for the price. I would certainly stay there again if my needs where for sleeping only close to the airport. Thanks Expedia!

Stayed at the location near the KCI Airport...The staff was friendly and helpful enough, although we had to wait at the desk for about 5 mins before anyone appeared to help check us in. The first room we were in had a very heavy perfume smell and the bath tub stopper did not work, so my wife taking a bath did not work. They graciously moved us to another room that did not smell, though was lacking in cleanliness with a dead bug on bathroom floor, a dirty towel behind the door, and as we discovered in the morning the shower was inoperable. Morning clerk acknowledged many of the rooms have issues as they are going through a remodel. Never offered any kind of refund for our inconvenience or issues. Will not stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay, The room, set up and bed were all very good. It was near 100 when we arrived and our room was cool and stayed that way all night. The one and only problem was the shower head adjustment was broken, but it was still functional. Breakfast is minimal at best, but how many hotels like this with kitchens offer anything?

The stay was ok and the room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming but I felt the manager was uncomfortable to talk to. I believe it was the manager or so she had appeared to be the manager seemed to have an air about her that made me feel as though she was the one that mattered and the most important. For example, one morning I went to the lobby to get a cup of coffee at 9:15 in the morning and there was none out. I asked if they would be making any more and she just looked at me and said I can make more if you want some. But it was the way she said it that made me feel like I was being a pain for asking. I just replied, "don't bother" and left the lobby. It was only 9:30 in the morning and the previous day we had stayed they had the coffee out all day. The manager should understand that it's because of the guests that she has a job at all. I don't think I would stay there again because I believe the image and attitude of the manager is a reflection of the business and I felt uncomfortable because of her.

We arrived and were made to wait to check in because PC at counter was being used for reports instead of the one in the Managers office. We booked a double bed room and were given a single bed. No blower. No shampoo. Needed to catch an early flight out of KC. First time there. Needed to hit bed right away so no time to argue. First impression always lasting impression. Too high price for what was advertised. Not coming back.

Most people who stay here per the front desk, stay for an extended period. Therefore no Kleenex, no shampoo, no toothpaste in room. Phone did not work. No restaurant on site. If you only want bare bones, low price then this should be a good fit.

Overall, the room was nice. Plenty of bathroom towels, etc. Bed was uncomfortable and bedding was insufficient, blanket and comforter(if you want to call it that...) were too small for the bed and one of the pillow cases had a slight yellow tint. Other that that, for the price, it's a good deal.

Booked 2 nights, 1st night the motel was full and we were in a room on 3 rd floor, and the smell of stale smoke was really strong. We decided to tough it out, but the stale smoke smell was pervasive and annoying. Next night we were able to change rooms to 1st floor, and everything was very nice, and clean.

Sheets had not been washed. I got to the motel sort of late and it sounds like it was a busy day with lots of check-outs and chck-ins. The clerk was very busy. I went up to my room and watched TV for a while as well as check emails from my computer (which service was very slow). When I got ready for bed, which was made up nice and neat, and pulled the sheets back, the pillow cases were wrinkled as well as the sheets, with hairs on some of the pillow cases. When I pulled the sheets back farther, there were crumbs still in the bed. It looked like the bed was made, but the sheets and pillow cases had not been washed and changed. Now, being late and settled, I did not want to change rooms or wait for housekeeping to change sheets, so I went down to my car and got my own pillow out of my car, then slept on top of the sheets, using just the blanket for cover. The rest of the motel looked fine, and clean. There was limited parking as they were doing some outside remodleing and had part of parking lot roped off. The price was very reasonable. I don;t know if they were expecting a traveler who had that room the night before to return or if they just didn't change the sheets. I hope it's not the latter. Other than the sheets, the room was fine. Next time I will have to change rooms or get someone to change the sheets. Other than the houskeeper staff was appropriate.

Was a good stay. When we arrived they booking agency only put us for one bed, we had requested 2. The front desk was very helpful in getting us a room with 2 beds since the hotel was almost booked it was nice to have help in getting the right room that night.

The hotel is convenient. Wanted to stay one night to split up a drive to our destination. Room was clean and comfortable. The exterior is being renovated so nearly half the parking spaces were blocked off which was challenging. "Breakfast Included" was disappointing - grab n' go. I guess it's better than nothing but muffins, granola bars and fruit and coffee [that's it!] isn't breakfast in my book.

This was a very reasonably priced hotel that was very convenient to get to MCI. I wasn't very pleased with the lack of professionalism from the young man working there when I arrived. But the older man in the morning was very pleasant. I did like the room. It was clean and neat. The only thing I didn't like was their so-called breakfast. Just some fruit, packaged bars, packaged muffins and coffee. I need a little more than that on a business trip. I would stay there again but bring some food along for the morning.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, so I was satisfied. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Close to MCI, but it would have been difficult to find without a GPS at night. I missed not having an ice machine and the breakfast was very spartan, but there was plenty of hot water and free wireless Internet. I only needed a place to sleep for a few days while spending my days elsewhere. Didn't use the kitchenette, but it was nice to have the refrigerator for cold water. Good value for the price!

I was extremely pleased. I had to stay while stranded during a snow storm. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and the room was very comfortable and clean. They also did a good job of getting the snow cleared as soon as possible, and helping me get back to my car when the roads cleared a bit. Awesome experience to turn around a bad day.

Thanks to friendly & helpful staff I was able to catch my flight just on time, although my ticket had a different departure time from the one the airline had! Thank you mr. Jim! The room was nice and clean, but because was a smoking room, had the smell of cigarets, which I didn't find it very pleasure. They could refresh the room more often to avoid that. Otherwise, I had free wireless internet and cable tv, comfortable enough bed, small table, fridge, microwave and kitchen area, and it came as a surprise for the money I pay for the room. The breakfast was finished by the time I went to eat (9:50am) but I have been offered to get some if I could wait for a few minutes. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time, so I drank only some coffee. The staff was polite, friendly and very helpful. The hotel overall was nice and quite. I defenatly will stay there again and I let my friends know too. Thank you!
