This was the second time we've stayed here for just one night while my husband plays in a disk golf tournament. The front desk clerk was friendly. Our room was very clean. It was a bonus to me that the window can be opened about six inches. I like to have fresh air as opposed to recirculated air conditioned air. There's a nice restaurant just across […] the parking lot, a convenience store nearby and a fast food restaurant half a block away. Other than that, there isn't anything to do nearby. The breakfast in the morning was more than adequate--waffles, toast, bagels, muffins, pastries, coffee, juice, yogurt, fruit. The posted times for breakfast on a Sunday were 7 - 10, but when I passed through the lobby at 10:20 or so, there were still people eating and food was still out. Read more

Your beds are not soft at ALL!!! The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the room needs major updating, and the bathroom was small and dank! Not a good experience at all. I will not be staying there again!

Disappointed in the noise! All night for 2 nights! The trash by the elevator on the second floor was overflowing for two nights! Room was just ok. Not your typical La Quinta hotel. Spoke to a manager who didnt seem to care and was disconnected. Bummer!

This is a very solid La Quinta just off of I-50 and Sunrise. Although there are always opportunities for improvement (e.g. the breakfast buffet could be more extensive), the service of the employees was excellent. When we opened the door to our room it stank like dog pee. The door to the bathroom blocked the door into the room and the passage way between was where the bathroom sink was located. Not a convenient or spacious set up. The beds were ok, but had really hard sides that dug into your legs if you sat on the edge. The pillows were flat and the curtains […] (if that's what you want to call them) were horrible. They were flat panels that were staggered, but they didn't keep out the light from the window. I've attached a picture... 6am when you checked in late the night before, you don't want the sun shining in your face! The walls to the rooms/hallways/outside were so thin you heard everything like there were no walls, and there were a lot of people walking their pets around in the lobby and hallways. It grossed me out. The continental breakfast wasn't worth getting dressed for, but there is a restraunt in the hotel parking lot called Brookfields that was really good. La Quinta is a lovely hotel. All the attendants were anxious to make sure I had everything I required. As an elderly single woman, I did not feel comfortable asking a maintenance man to help with the air conditioning in my room, which was very cold. I tried setting it, but it was not successful. The accommodations were very nice and the staff were great. We had one request that was not immediately fulfilled, but they did the best they could. The elevators could use an air freshner. Other than that it was great. We enjoyed our stay there and would definitely stay again!

Noisey cold room with no extra blankets. The furniture was stained and threadbare. I was afraid to touch anything. Slept in my clothes and didn't bother with the continental breakfast. Staff were very nice though, and the price was cheap.

I've stayed here several times....it continues to deteriorate......noisy air conditioners.....hallways have an odor......rooms need attention.....i.e. cleanliness and decor......and staff that seems like they don't care......child puked in the dining area during breakfast.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were that only smoking rooms were available when i specified that we had children. They ended up giving us a non-smoking room but in the smoking level, which still smelled horrible.

We specifically wanted a room with a FULL bathroom, not the silly option with sinks outside of the bathroom. Three of us shared the room and we wanted our privacy when showering, shaving, etc. The hotel pictures showed full bathrooms, with sinks. We immediately called the front desk and asked to be moved to a room with the sink in the bathroom. The person called back stating that all the rooms have the same layout except for rooms designed for handicap access. I asked if we could move to a handicap room and she said none have two beds. I asked if there were fold out couches, she said "no". She didn't offer to provide a cot or help us move to another hotel. Also, the free continental breakfasts were mediocre at best... When we Arrived at the hotel everything seemed in order. I checked into the hotel and recieved our room number an keys. we headed to our room and as soon as we stepped out of the elevator we were hit with a very strong smell of cigarrette smoke. we then went back to the front desk to request a non smoking room and the woman at the front desk told us […] that the room we were in was non smoking, There were cigarrette burns in the carpet in our room and also cobwebs in the corner of the room. teh room was on teh second floor of the hotel and the window opened which was great except it had no screen so if you have children it was definatly not safe. I booked the room for four adults and there were only three towls provided, when we went to the front dest to ask for some extra towls they told us "we r sorry to inform you but we r out of owls all we have left are these" as he handed us some floor mats. needless to say this was a horrible hotel experience and i will never stay at this hotel again. The outdoor hot tub was hot but there was a lot of road noise, the exercise room was small but had ellipticals and treadmills, and the room was both nicely renovated and clean. The breakfast was mediocre. I have stayed here twice.
