I have been staying at this hotel for VT football games for 10 years. Not anymore. When I arrived the heater in the room did not work. They did come and reset the reaker but when I returned from the game the breaker had popped again. Too tired to inform the desk I slept in a cold room all night. After reading the reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Quality Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which was great since we checked in after 9pm. I am a very clean person and am easily skeeved out by a dirty hotel room. Ours was clean, as clean as one can expect. The only downside was the […] smoke smell, but had I remembered Febreeze, it could have been easily eradicated. Sheets were clean, room was simple, but not too outdated, shower was hot. Breakfast was terrific. Hot eggs, sausage, biscuits, cereal, yogurt, pastries, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, two waffle makers and batter, assorted toast, juice and milk. The rooms were not clean. I could literally see dirt on the carpet. The beds were not at all comfortable and there were small cushions instead of regular pillows. Very uncomfortable. Trash was not picked up for two days and no new towels provided. We had to call twice and wait for an hour to get them.

For a mid price Motel, I was impressed. The room was clean; sheets felt good and can walk barefoot on the floor. The breakfast bar was adequate, but staff was a bit grumpy at 0600. I guess we all are. I would definitely stay there if I had business in Christianburg.

Clean room with good furnishings and nice size shower/tub. Free breakfast buffet. Juice and cookies available until 10 pm. The desk employees were friendly. Close to a couple restaurants, but far enough from the bustle of town. Overall very pleased with the value of this stay.

Booked 2 rooms, one satisfactory the other should never have been booked before a major carpet cleaning. Clean feet and socks were black with one step. The worst room I've ever booked and I told the desk clerk at checkout.

Room was clean. Bathroom super tiny. Wireless nonexistent in our room. Had to go to main desk to access it. The clerk said the wireless was working, we told him we didnt have it inour room. He said "well, it depends where your room is."

There was a bedbug that crawled on my daughter's leg, musty. maybe the other rooms are better. I like the location walking distance to the restaurant. There's microwave and refrigerator so that was nice bec I have brought food. I might go back other restaurant in the area maybe worst.

Our accomodations were adequate but the clerk was rude and left us waiting to check in for 20 minutes while she chit-chatted with other guests. They were already checked in. When we went to swim in the pool, a large group of young boys were throwing balls hitting other guest and jumping in the hot tub. There were about 9 in the hot tub alone. We were visiting our daughter at school and were looking for a clean, low cost way to spend the weekend. We were pleased with the hotel and it met our needs, the breakfast was fresh and well tended to, lots of choices, good coffee and fresh fruit. I'm not a fan of the half open half closed bathroom, while blow drying my hair my husband was loading the […] car and the door is right in line with the sink and mirror, so watch out ladies and bring a bathrobe. The door leading into the toilet and shower area, kept getting stuck on the toilet lid making it necessary to lift the lid each time we entered or left the room, it obvious it had been like that for a long time. The open to the outside hallway is fine for good weather, but if the weather is bad you'll be a mess by the time you get to breakfast. I prefer a closed in hallway with an elevator to get to and from your car or the lobby. We would stay again, but probably not in the winter. The price is right for an overnight stay or weekend, but for a longer stay the room was small and cramped. I feel this is a fair review, some of the other reviews, in my opinion, were a little over the top. Read more

Hotel was fine, clean and close to swim facility. Only problem was with outside entrance, wind whipped through door and we had to put a towel at the bottom of door to keep the draft out. Hope the maintenance people will fix this door and others like it. Did report this to the hotel staff. Otherwise all was just as we expected.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and was satisfied each time. It is in a good location if for nothing else than the easy walk to the Cracker Barrel next door. The free breakfast at the hotel was nothing to write home about but when something is free you have no right to complain.
