Very nice clean hotel and the shuttle from the airport was only a 5 minute wait. The shuttle to the port was quick and timely we were on the ship having lunch by 12:30!

Having a shuttle makes a big difference getting to and from the hotel. It was clean, staff was helpful and really all you would expect for a quick stop over for connecting flights. Not sure about staying there for any other business. Breakfast wasn't much to look forward to but you can always grab an apple on the way to your flight.

Got in to MIA at night and had an early morning international flight. For the money and convenience this hotel was a great decision especially considering the shuttle to the airport and its willingness to also take us to the restaurant.

Hotel is fine for one night. Staff is helpful. Rooms are loud being right under runway 8R. Eating dinner is an issue. The Bennigans next door has below average food and service.

Stayed 2 nights at the Red Roof. Excellent location especially when it is time to return the rental car. The hotel was very clean and the staff was nice. I would stay there again.

The hotel was generally great. I was greeted warmly by the staff, and felt very welcomed. The problem is that the hotel lies directly in the flight path of landing aircraft, so it's noisy. The hotel itself was OK. The corridors were extremely noisy but funny enough, I never heard the planes overhead. Only hotel staff, other guests and general noise coming from outside of my room. I am handicapped and was only mobile with crutches. Most of the staff were very accommodating however, one Front Desk clerk was so unhelpful that I repeated […] my condition and offered her suggestions as to how she could assist me. She was very much "by the book" offered no assistance. Oh! They also charge a storage fee of $2.00 per package per day of any parcels sent to the hotel prior to your arrival. This is a decent place to stay if you need to be close to the airport. Breakfast service isn't much, the room was fairly clean. It appeared to have been remodeled about two years ago, but not much maintence since then. Had late flight in to MIA, so wanted to save money by staying by airport and heading out to Key West in am. Free airport shuttle was efficent both in PM and next AM (rented car at airport). Room was clean and comfortable. Staff at front desk sometimes did not answer phone, only complaint.

The housekeeping services was bad. They are doing half the job. Another bad experience I had was I forgot some of my stuff and when I called back to check they said they didn't find anything. Which I never expected. The breakfast was barely nothing ... Think before you choose...

I read terrible reviews on the hotel, but it wasn't so bad. Located near the airport with an airpot shuttle. It was good for one night. NO bell boy service which can feel like a drag after a long flight with lots of luggage. Rooms were clean enough and comfortable. Maybe the bed is not big enough for 2 people. But I was by myself.

The room was very clean and neat, The Hotel is a little older so there where some issues, the bath tub stop for the drain didn't work properly when showering the water didn't drain quickly, the bathroom sink had the same problem. the pool was clean and the staff was very friendly, 5mins to the airport and special requests upheld and quite.

Only one resturant within walking distance. The front desk people ( Stacey) were very helpful and friendly. Nothing fancy but very servicable hotel. Close to Miami Zoo and I-95. Local delivery joints OK, don't order from pizza joints, chinese was OK. Surprisingly quiet hotel based on location close to airport. Pool OK, nothing special. Lady at desk in store of hotel is very sexy.

I was very satisfied with my recent stay at the Red Roof Inn outside of Miami Airport. it is only about two minutes outside of the airport which is convenient, and it serves all the purposes we needed. It even has a pool which was a bonus.however since it is so close to the airport there are always planes flying overhead which can be noisey, but we […] had a room on the bottom floor and we didn't hear a single one. overall I was very pleased with our state before leaving for our cruise the next day which by the way they had a free shuttle to the port which was awesome. This hotel was in the slums of Miami. The pics online are decieving and make it look like a nice clean hotel. This is not the case. Our a/c unit in the room worked but we had to turn it off because it make an extremely loud noise. Not to mention the noise from the airplanes. We picked the hotel because it had free shuttle from airport and free shuttle to port of miami cruise port. We got in late so we really just needed a place to catch some sleep and shower. Hotel is very close to airport. Older hotel, but clean and met our needs. This hotel does not know customer service. I called to indicate I'd be coming in late and not to cancel my reservation. 15 minutes on hold!!! And no apologies when my call was finally answered. Then, when I finally arrive and it's 12:30 AM I'm waiting at the front desk while the one attendant helps someone with their computer. Again -- no "I'll be right […] with you" or anything. I loved it. It was perfect for what I wanted, it was very clean and friendly. The price was by far the best deal I ever made in Miami, I stayed there two nights. So happy that their complimentary breakfast started at 6am, they could do with some orange juice and other fruit besides apples. Overall I had a great stay.
