Convenient to cruise port. Was ok for one night, but not a fabulous place to stay for long! Continental breakfast was a joke - walked to McDonalds a block away for breakfast!! However - the owner of the hotel was helpful and friendly.

Was charged for 2 weeks parking even thojugh website offered one week free parking. I was told that offer applied when hotel was booked directly. Please note that on your site so others won't be deluded.

We stayed for one night and was not a good experience.The bathtub was clogged and there were hair strands on bathroom floor. There were no blow dryer, iron and coffee maker.

It was a great stay. Not that far from the Iowa. We could have had more towels, but could have asked for them I guess - they had 2 of each for 4 people. Room was clean and neat, and comfortable.

I was under the impression that my total from Hotels.com included the park and ride. I was informed at the front desk that it did not and I would have to pay an extra $50 to park for the week and would only get a one way ride to the pier. If this hotel were in a different neighborhood, it'd probably be a lot better. At night you can't go inside the lobby; you have to check in through a small security window where it's hard to hear the poor guy inside. One of the perks that attracted my wife and I to book this hotel was the complimentary shuttle service to the Cruise Terminal in Long Beach. We were taken by shuttle to the cruise terminal. After our cruise, we called the hotel for the shuttle pick-up and were told that the fine print states the courtesy shuttle service is offered one way only. In fact, the day we were leaving for on the shuttle service we were told to take one of the business cards from the front desk and to call them once we returned from our cruise. This is an older hotel, but is very well maintained with ongoing improvement. Housekeeping was excellent. Office staff was very customer orientated. Daily coffee and donuts were offered in lobby area. Personally chosen by me due to the conviencent location to the ammentities of San Pedro.

I would have to say this was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. There was no complimentary breakfast but some hard doughnuts, thick coffee and gross orange juice. When you get to the hotel it states its a mini breakfast but on the websit it claims otherwise. The tv would freeze every 30 seconds so you would have to change the channel and go […] back in order for it to work. The bath tub had hair in it and wasn't clean.Just an overall greasy, dirty feeling room/ property.There was a homeless guy in the parking lot trying to sell a stolen cell phone . It was close to my event and I liked that, but the carpet was not very clean and the room was almost as HOT as it was outside. It was so hot and stuffy in the room, good thing I had my girls inhaler. Can not tell you if the beds were comfortable or not because of the heat in the room. One good thing about the Vegabond was that I requested a refrigerator […] and a microwave and they were in the room and they worked well and my parking space was also reserved for me due to my disability, so I would give them another try before I decide to write them off completely. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable; you could feel every spring (you could see their outline too). Was like sleeping on a board with stiff springs. It was clean except for ???? found at the foot of one of the beds. A lot of police action going on throughout the night on the street. This would not be my first or second choice.

Do not book the vagabond inn if u have pets!!! On "hotels.com" it said that pets were excepted but the website does not update it self, pets are not allowed at any vagabonds... Luckily the manager allowed us to stay with our pet regardless. Over all the stay was good

The room was lovely and clean very comfortable. Hotel manager and assistant were very helpfull and friendly. I arrived at noon and could already check in which was nice and convenient. Close to a 7ELEVEN, Mcdonalds. Only a few minutes away from the port so very convenient to join a ship. Will stay there again, thank you!

The security gate on the south side of the hotel was broken the last time I stayed in Dec. 2010 and is still broken. I had to have my key card re-magnitized three times and the desk clerk told me it was my fault because "I kept it too close to my cell phone" which is not true. We've stayed at this hotel before. Staff is very competent and responsive to our needs/requests. Location has great access to freeways and nice little downtown. On a busy street with a lot of traffic. Suggest if you plan on using a roll out bed, better for smaller persons. Would return again.

this hotel was overpriced for what we recieved. it was close to the the lobster fest so thats why we stayed there. room was smelly like ciggarettes and it was a non smoking room. the continental breakfast is a joke! the fridge didnt work and no coffe maker! we got out of there fast the next morning, the nieghborhood was not so nice

The hotel is conveniently located in San Pedro but the location is not very safe. The night we stayed, there was a murder in the building behind the hotel and the cops spent the morning in the parking lot. One of the detectives talked to me and warned me about the neighborhood and that there was a homeless guy scouting out the stuff I had in my car. […] The hotel was nice though, after traveling from Alabama my wife had the best night sleep there the entire trip.
