The Hotel Regina is beautiful and across the street from The Louvre. Everyone was very nice, the bar was expensive. We walked around the corner to Le Comedie for our beers, a lot less expensive. The room was tiny but comfortable. The view from our room was spectacular! I

When we arrived we were upgraded to a better room - VERY large by European standards including large bath. Prior stay we had a standard room which was adequate. Hotel is convenient to Metro, Louvre, etc. Outside of hotel there are a lot of tourist attractions which can be a plus or a minus.

Location, location, location. This hotel was right in the middle of all the places we wanted to visit. Only steps to the Louvre and to Tuileries. The building is a bit older, but we love the Art Nouveau architectural style.

Hotle from the begining of the 19 century. One of the oldest elevator still in service, wall tiles from the opening of the hotel. One of the very few hotel privatly owne by the same family. Great service!

Loved the Regina. Great location with a Metro station just a stone's throw away.. Same with the Louvre and Tuileries. Wonderful view from our room. Easy walk to almost everything. Room was large by Paris standards. Bed was very firm and room a bit noisy in the AM but hey, this is Paris, isn't it? Also, if you kept your window/door closed, it was very […] soundproof -we didn't. Staff was very friendly. Good breakfast, though pastries not top notch. Very minor disappointment that there was no dinner served. Great hotel. We enjoyed this hotel, because it was clean, comfortable, BUT it was a bit farther away from the sites of Paris than some of the other notable hotels. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was huge. if you're looking for a good deal--this could be your best choice!

Perfect location, beautiful lobby, impeccable service. Only complaint is the air conditioning was not working well, so the room got a bit muggy in the summer heat. Possibly this problem could have been rectified by the staff had we taken time to ask.

We didn't have a tv that worked for 3 days of our stay and they refused to move us to another room. We supposedly were upgraded before we checked in. I have stayed in this hotel before and we had a view of the Eiffel Tower (after a lot of hassle with the manager to get the room that we had requested and paid for 10 months prior), this room was in no […] way upgraded. Fabulous location right next door to the Louvre! Very large room by Paris standards. Multiple metro stations within walkin distance allows acess to all of Paris. Lots of street vendors near for sandwiches and crepes.

The Regina has seen better days. It has a beautiful location and offers views of the Eiffel Tower, Tuileries, and Grand Palais but the rooms are dusty and dank. It's really not a pleasure to stay here. The staff has also gotten a bit dusty. They're somewhat clueless and not quite helpful.

A week in Paris is not enough time to see all the museums and attractions. The Hotel Regina, located on Rue de Pyramides and Rue Rivoli offers not only a great centralized location but superior accomodations presented by an excellent staff. Our room was smallish by American standards but with a little creativity we made it work we for our week's stay. […] We discovered several great restaurants in the area, all within a block or two's walk. Location was excellent for my needs - very small room, but price was also low for location. Issue was totally unreliable internet access - and it was not free! So having paid 15Euro for access it was very challenging to get and keep a connection due to the traffic on their system. I even bought a separate access to Orange as they suggested and it too […] was bogged down with traffic and often unavailable. For a business traveler this can be a huge problem. What more can you ask for, a room right across the street from the Louvre in the center of Paris. Right in the bump and gring, close to subway and everything you want to see. We had a view of the Tulliers and the Eiffel Tower. You will not be disappointed.
