From its hills to its sidewalks, the stars are everywhere in Hollywood. Although most film and TV production today takes place in Burbank, Hollywood retains its mystique. The elite are commemorated with stars on the Walk of Fame and cement handprints at Grauman’s Chinese Theater. The Hollywood & Highland Center shopping and entertainment venue includes the Kodak Theatre, home of the Oscars.

This hotel is located right by The Gaumann's Chieese Theater and walking distance to a beautiful mall. It is an older building which was once a apartment complex then converted to a hotel. The rooms are clean and comforable but the furnishings and painting needs some updating. The Manager and staff are great and very helpful. He even let us borrow an umbrella because it was raining. The breakfast is bagels, muffins, juice, tea, coffee or hot chocolate. But it was fresh so that is enough. The price was great and parking was free which is amazing for this area. It even has free internet. A very good deal for the money.

All night long on friday I had to open my window and tell people to be quite all the way till 5 am. It was terrible. I had a lot of kids and they put us on the second floor with no elevator. It was by far my worst hotel experience yet. Nice location and free parking is nice but not worth 3 cranky kids and 2 very tired parents

For an older hotel it's very comfortable and very conveniently located when you want to be in the "heart" of Hollywood. Seems to be an old apartment building, and it makes you feel as if someone who is very famous, but long gone, could have lived there when they were still struggling young actors. It's not elegant in any way, but a fun place to stay.

What I liked most about this hotel was the professionalism of the service. Everyone was very nice and went out of their way to help us with suggestions, information, etc. The location is outstanding (just a couple of blocks away from the Mann's Chinese Theatre) and the room includes parking! The only thing I would improve was the shower (it took me a while to find the right hot and cold water mix).

Very poor value for money! Good location , but thats all..bed linen very 'creased' and marked on arrival, nearly asked for it to be changed, but late at night, so put up with it. Rooms need up dating and the complimentary breakfast in lobby ( only 2 chairs ) was again very poor! We paid more for this hotel than the 8 others on our trip across the usa and this was defo the worse value for money although a good position in Hollywood which attracted us!

We first visited the Celebrity 17 years ago and we were delighted it had not changed. It's an art deco style hotel and very comfortable with each room named after a film star. This time round we had the WC Fields suite, last time it was the Mae West suite! A continental breakfast is included (which is a rare thing in Hollywood). The only drawback is that it doesnt have an elevator or a pool but otherwise would recommend this hotel to any travellers visiting Hollywood. Would definitely go back.

The HollywoodCelebrity Hotel is in a great location, in a relatively quiet cul de sac, just behind the Hollywood-Highland centre, Graumans Chinese Theatre & The Kodak Theatre; so it was perfect for our stay which was for a quick tour of the tourist spots in LA. Hotel has a nice entrance and foyer, rooms fairly basic but more or less what you'd expect for a 2 star establishment. Staff were very friendly and helpful & the free internet & 'continental' breakfast were a bonus that many other higher rated hotels charge for. Overall very satsfied given the hotel rating and price paid.

The Hollywood Celebrity Hotel is in a great locale - down the street from the Kodak Theater at Hollywood and Highland. The hotel is older, but maintained well and very clean. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. In fact, I called them before my trip and they recommended a great shuttle service, which we used to travel to and from LAX and to and from the Port of Los Angeles. They offered a free, but adequate continental breakfast every morning of muffins, croissants, and bagels. Our room had an eating area with a microwave and a small refrigerator. We enjoyed being within walking distance from the heart of Hollywood. They offer free wireless WiFi and cable TV. We enthusiastically recommend this hotel.

The rooms need a bit of attention, maybe a small face lift. Okay for a tourist spot. If you are staying longer than a couple of days, I would recommend some where away from the crowd.
