"horrible and nasty"
The beds were horrible pillow were old...yuck! the bathtub was nasty and not clean! there were people up and down all night and you could hear them

"nice hotel"
we were returning home from a visit with family in texas this was half way point. first time to lay over in natchez. just picked most convenient location via booking service, this motel location looked ok. It turned out that motel was good but location was not. there was to much noise from highway. Did not sleep well because of noise from room next door and highway noise

"Avoid this place."
Booked non-smoking room, was no non-smoking left when I got there. Was prepaid, hotel refused to adjust price. Room was filthy, crumbs all over floor, thin sheets. No hot water for morning shower. Awful experience.

"No Way Would I stay there again."
I felt like I was in the Bates Motel. The room was very cramped. The Ceiling looked as if it were about to fall in the floor. The Staff member was not very friendly at check in nor at check out. Did not thank me for staying or anything of that nature. My wife was mortified.

"OK"
Checked in Friday afternoon, desk clerk was attentive and friendly, we went to our room to find that it had not been cleaned, returned to the front desk where nice clerk gave us another room, she called after we were in our room to see if it was to our liking. There were several people hanging around outside near our room and I told the clerk about them. Room was okay but when we returned from dinner and went to bed there was a man and woman right outside our door arguing and cussing each other. Called front desk and clerk came and told them that they were disturbing other guests, they went to their room. A few minutes later we heard more commotion from same folks. They quieted down after a few minutes with no further noise that night. Next day, more people hanging around outside, sitting on stairs, smoking, pacing around talking loudly on cell phone, etc. We also couldn't get WiFi in our room, told clerk at front desk about it and her response was, "no one else is having a problem". For the price this isn't a bad place to stay if you don't mind noisy people hanging around outside at all hours, and inconsistent attitudes from front desk staff. Room was clean and 1 out of 2 of the front desk staff was helpful.

Thank you for reviewing our hotel. I do apologize, though, for some of our guests that were being a little to loud for your liking. We do not tolerate belligerent or guests that cuss loudly. We try our hardest to maintain a peaceful, tranquil environment but sometimes it is difficult to police everybody. Our wi-fi has just been upgraded recently and it is concerning to me that you couldnt get online. We do have a tech support line and i'm surprised the front desk associate didnt mention that to you and we have tent cards in the rooms telling guests of the tech support as well. I'll have to verify all rooms have them. Thank you for being our guest.

"To avoid absolutely"
Very basic hotel in the highway so you won't sleep because of the noise It is very dirty , rooms are not clean at all. No amenities at all. Staff is not friendly. Why Expedia proposes this hotel? Awkward

"Natchez trip"
We had already read the reviews so knew what to expect. I asked that our room be clean and tidy. It was, as best as it could be for the age of the motel. The bed was very comfortable, tv reception left a lot to be desired, our bathroom vanity light kept going on and. off. It was pretty quiet considering there were workers staying there and a lot of them. The front desk ladies were very nice and helpful.The only reason we stayed there was it was the only place we could have our dog in the vicinity.

"Not again"
This hotel just wasn't that good. It was old, needs to be updated all the way around. I don't like the old print comforters, the carpets needed vacuming and the air conditioner was like a swamp cooler. Ugh! It was the only place it town except for a very old expensive place on the river.

Carpet was wet at door near AC. The AC did not cool the room at night. Commode rocked because it was not secure and had a dark stain in the bowl which looked unclean. The room had a funny smell

"Southern Hospitality"
Staff made it a point to call us once we had entered our room. Wanted to make sure that our room was to our satisfaction. We also were told that M-T, they had dinner for their guests. We took the opportunity to have dinner there and it was very delicious and tasty. Ms. Carolyn was making sure all the guests were having enough to eat. It was a wonderful southern hospitality. I would definitely recommend this motel. It might not have all the bells and whistles but the staff makes up for it. They make sure you are taken care of during your stay.

WOW!! What a terrific review. We enjoy giving true genuine southern hospitality and i am glad you noticed that from Ms. Carolyn. She really is a gem. Also, i am pleased you ate with us at supper. We really enjoy cooking it and putting it out for our guests. Some days we will have spaghetti with meat sauce or other days we will do Jambalaya or red beans and rice. "Family funeral made easier."

"Scary place for a SWF!"
Full of day laborers, hanging out in the parking lot drinking beer with pit bulls in tow. I didn't feel safe, with a room in the back corner of the lot and literally stacked all the furniture I had against the door. The room itself was modestly appointed but definitely needed some updating, and the bathroom should be gutted and re-done - the fixtures were all loose and the ceiling modly - ew! Also, the room made all my clothes stink like wet dogs mixed with cigarette smoke.

We do have quite a bit of business from oil riggers and construction but they are nothing to be afraid of. The operation we run here is very safe and there is no need to stack furniture against the inside of your door. They are very nice people and just like to relax when they are off from work. They are never rowdy and are always very friendly. We are an economical hotel that does not have modern features of newer build hotels but we do offer an awesome price that includes a great hot breakfast and a genuine homemade supper Monday through Thursday. Maybe one day again soon you will give us another try. We would love to see you again.

"Did not stay..."

There was a motorcycle tournament in town and when you saw the parking lot full of motorcycles you may have thought they were going to be rowdy.. The room was reasonably priced. It was dated and the location was a little out of the way, Too many motorcycles. Can't they put on the other end of the motel to themselves. Can't sleep late with several hogs cranking up at 6 in the AM.

My usual choices for this area were booked up, found this for my last minute booking. Staff very busy, but very friendly. Room was clean. Ruby Tuesday, and several fast foods nearby. Stay was much better than I expected for an older location.

"very dissapointed"
very disappointed, we have stayed in a lot nicer hotel for a lot less. room was dirty, could use a coat of paint. it was a non smoking room but there were burn holes all in the bath tub, we tried to find another hotel but they were all booked up because of the 4th of July weekend. I would not recommend this hotel, breakfast was the only good thing about the place

This hotel was MOST diasppointing. The rooms were "sort of clean", but they were so old, with mold in the bathroom, and a "scuzzy" shower.

"Very friendly staff, hotel was disappointing"
The hotel staff at the front desk were courteous and helpful, and it seems that they work with what they can to make the hotel as pleasant as possible. The room (and hotel itself) was very outdated, and not clean. There was a dead bug on the sink counter, a leftover hair tie on the bathroom door, and an old piece of pizza left in the microwave. We didn't want to touch anything in the room. The one redeeming quality seemed to be the bed, which was comfortable. We would not stay here again.

"For the price still not worth it"
Walk in to check in with 3 people sitting and still had to wait 5 minutes to be acknowledged. Room wasn't ready till 5 o'clock not 3. Housekeeper was nice and the only one to clean all the rooms it wasn't her fault needed more help. It was not great I don't expect a lot for $100 a night but it was worth about $20.

"Great place to stay"
This Days Inn is far from new and if someone is looking for a place with mints on the pillows or booze in the frig, they won't find either one here. But the rooms are clean, the TVs work, all the staff are friendly, and rates are good. Breakfast is more than adequate 7 mornings each week, and Mon.-Thurs. they serve an evening meal until it's all gone. It's not a 7-course meal but it fills the tummy. I would recommend the place to anyone who needs a clean place to spend the night.

"Great for the price!"
The outside is a typical motel. Our room was clean and seemed to be updated recently. It had a microwave, coffee maker and fridge in the room which was nice. The bed was quite comfortable. The room didn't have an iron. When I asked the front desk they said they didn't have one, but on my way back to the room, I saw the housekeeper taking one to another room. So I asked the housekeeper and she brought me one right away. Housekeeping was great. The lady at the front desk didn't seem too interested in going above and beyond, but she did her basic job. The hot breakfast was great for a hotel! Fresh hot waffles, bacon, omelettes, biscuits/gravy, toast, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal with fixings, coffee, juice, milk. Much better than most hotels breakfasts! I'd definitely stay here again. It was very conveniently located on highway 61. Close enough to downtown and near Natchez trace parkway.

"Needs some TLC"
Rooms were ok. Very thin walls, could here lady in next room coughing, babies crying somewhere nearby & since it's a dog friendly hotel, lots of them barking all hours of the night. A/C worked good & I could have overlooked the dated & threadbare room had it not been for the earwig bug crawling on bathroom wall the morning I checked out. Too bad this hotel isn't in better shape because it's location is great for proximity to my family.

"Needs work"
Drawers didn't work, furniture was in bad need of repair or replacement. Maid had tried to put a regular sheet on a king size bed so mattress was showing. If they had not found a proper sheet at 10:30 PM, I would have had to sleep on mattress. The A.C. didn't work proper. Only way to get it to work is to set it at 68. Way too cold or way too hot.

Thank you for your review. I dont know why the housekeeper who serviced your room would put a regular sheet on a king-size bed. We have lots of brand new king-size sheets so i dont understand why that would happen. I will get with my executive housekeeper to make some immediate changes. "Old property with helpful staff"
We booked here on a motorcycle trip. Upon arrival saw a bunch of traveling workers just getting back from their day. Was surprised to learn that the hotel served free supper as well as breakfast, but the workers had scarfed up all but some corn and muffins. Room was Ok. This is an older property in need of updating but the staff were great and very pleasant to deal with. Pool gate slammed for a few hours and was just one room away from ours. That should be quieted. I would not like to have been in that next room!

Thank you for your comments. Our supper is something that is well liked by all our guests and i am so sorry most of it was gone by the time you got to get some. We put as much as we can out but we do not have a full-size kitchen to do that but we try and make enough to satisfy demand. Also, our pool gate does have a loose lock on it just to insure it does completely latch and shut when people open or close it. I understand that it is kind of loud though. Once again, thank you for your comments and we appreciate you staying with us.

"a place to lay your head"
This is an old hotel so don't think you'll get anything other than that. My sheets were not clean, they were worn and ratty, bathtub was not clean and they could have done a better job with the overall cleanliness of the room. What I did like was that there was a microwave and refrigerator in the room so that was convenient. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was decent enough for me to make the effort to go down each morning. At the end of the day it was a place to lay my head and that was it.

Hello: Thank you for writing this review on us. We are a vintage property with the main building built in 1959 and the rest of the hotel followed in 1973. We are in the process of replacing all of our bedding but i guarantee you your sheets were clean. They may have been out of our older stock we are recycling out but they were clean. I'm glad the staff was so friendly to you and that you like our breakfast. It's our new Daybreak Breakfast and it's been a big hit with guests. I'm glad you liked it. "quiet, full breakfasts, reasonable price"
We enjoyed staying at the Days Inn in Natchez. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The price was reasonable, affordable. The breakfast was freshly made, tasty and staff kept it well supplied. Seemed a popular place too, for families and couples traveling. We would definitely stay there again.

"Best Days Inn I ever."
We arrived late and tired. Desk clerk was totally business-like and quick while being cordial. The room and the breakfast exceeded anything I could expect in this grade hostelry. Cleanliness - immaculate; towels - 3-star level or better; comfort - same; breakfast - quality and variety matched higher-grade places. And, even though right on the highway, room was very quiet. Next time I'm in Natchez, I'll stay there, no question about it.

The motel was ok could use some maintenance and repairs. The desk clerk (Pat) was very pleasant and help full in providing information regarding the area.
