Not very comfortable it was me and my wife's honeymoon and decided to stay there night before the cruise. Locks looked very broken and not so clean, although restroom was amazing everything else was not so good. Bed was not so clean and it smell a little weird, overall i give it a 2 out of 5.

The people who worked there were so nice and helpful which made up for the fact that it was far from our distination. Hotels.com advertised this hotel as 4 miles from the Convention Center but it was more like 15.

While the neighborhood seemed a bit seedy, i was pleasantly surprised by the two pools, the pretty landscaping and the clean, comfortable room. I would complain that, while they have security gates, they never closed them during my stay, which bothered me since there were several wanderers the immediate vicinity.

The hotel is clean and in a good state which was more what I expected. There are swimming pools inside and breakfast. But the location is not good, $20 Taxi to downtown and there is no convenient restaurant around. Basically, you need call a taxi except that you have your own car.

Room is not bad but worst is that location is in way of hwy closeup and terrbile internet access. Its not reliable. Pool is neat and perfect for kids and family however. It is ok for old fashioned people who doesn't use internet access.

This is a terrible hotel!! We were stuck here because the city was booked solid with a medical convention, otherwise we would have checked out the first night! The room was filthy, noisy and the worst part was there wasn't any hot water!! Yes, no hot water!!! We told the front desk and they promised to have it fixed each night but it never was. This hotel was waayy better than reviews led me to believe. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle drivers were great and even took us across the bridge sometimes, not just to the ferry. The room was just fine.

Wonderful 2day stay! The hotel offered a free shuttle to/from our curise line! Clean and under renovation as we stayed. Cant wait to go back next year and see more improvements! Landscaping and a bar to come.

We had trouble finding a hotel for one night after coming in from a cruise as it was the weekend before Fat Tuesday. The location was too far away from everything but combining cab fares and the room rate was still below what we would have had to pay for a room on the east side of the river. Hotel is in the middle of remodeling. I can live with that. Check-in was at 3, I arrived at 3:15. I was able to check in, but was not given a room key because they had to make sure the room was ready. I waited another 1/2 hour. One person went to check and never came back. A maintainence man finally went and checked and called back with in 5 minutes. […] I asked for a different room and was told none were available, yet the room next to mine was free. The staff was apologetic but not very helpful. We could see the room and I volunteered to walk over with them to see if it was ready. Hot water for showers was rare. The cracks in the entry door and the internal door was more than a inch from the floor, which provided rodents free access to not only your room but also the ability to roam from room to room (this incident actually happened to me while I was present in the room). If it was for anything more than sleeping off a night on Bourbon street, I would have been disappointed. The drain in the bathtub didn't work and neither did the knob to change the water temp. In fact, it fell off when i tried to turn it. oh well, it was cheap.

The hotel was ok for the price did have a van that would take you to the ferry for a ride to the city , but the taxi driver would charge you a lot extra to bring you to the West Bank and most of them did not want to cross the river and non e of the airport shuttles would bring you to the West bank. Hotel was ok for the price just out of the way.

I love this hotel. It is not far form the festivities and the surrounding neighborhood has a personality of its own. It is not the Four Seasons but it is great for the price. I have stayed here before and will stay here again. I recommend it for everyone.

They offer a free shuttle to the ferry which is also free! That drops you off on St Charles st. Otherwise you have to pay a toll to drive across the bridge to get into the city. Plenty of food and stores within 5 min drive. Worth the price to stay.

I read prior reviews and must admit I was worried, I brought my own lysol wipes and everything! When I arrived, the service was wonderful everyone was very nice and accomodating. There was a shuttle with a driver Jerome who was as nice as he could be and shuttled us around and picked us up from Bourbon pretty late too! this was superbowl weekend so […] I was shocked everything was so easy! The room was spotless, extra towels were provided. I just have nothing bad to say about this place, it is over the bridge (when it is a busy weekend and the quarter is booked, or if you just want a decent price for a room) I recommend this place with five stars!! We had a one night stay which was pleasant however the hotel was undergoing renovations. Our room was clean, but, the towels were discolored and the mattress on the bed was not comfortable at all.. It had little firmness to it. The bath tub faucet was not set firmly on the wall and I would say that is probably a violation.. We loved the new bathroom […] tile and vanity. The color pattern of the room was cheerful and nice. We had to step over workers that were pressure washing the sidewalk and painting the wall. They at first seemed as if WE were in the way but then moved.. The heater worked great and we were warm. The shower worked well but the fan needs some maintenance. The staff was SOOOOOO pleasant.. All of them. We got to our room early and we had to go back into New Orleans and we were allowed to leave our luggage in the office so we could go back into town. When we came back, the luggage was as it was left, and not tampered with at all.. In the morning a Taxi was called for us to get to the airport and we had a continental breakfast. I feel we overpaid for the room for what was going on with the renovations. Yes we know that it was a busy weekend and we only needed one night however may have not stayed knowing it would be having so much being done to it. Otherwise, it is looking good..
