Nice hotel with good view for a good price. Good breakfast, good view and within walking distance to The Acropolis. Never wrote a review but liked this place so much I decided to write one for this place.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the ticket gate for the Acropolis, on the west side of the site. It is set on a small street, about 20 minutes (pleasantly) walking to Plaka. This is a very nice hotel within easy walking distance to the Acropolis. Everyone who worked there was very helpful and gave us a wonderful restaurant recommendation. Breakfast was good and they even arranged an early breakfast for us one morning before we caught the ferry.

Liked the area and good walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Rooms were very new and clean, everything worked well, but rooms do not accommodate more than 3 people. Space is very limited and there is no room for an extra bed, even if they had any. Breakfast was really good with a good variety of items.

Clean room, friendly staff. Room looked new and modern so I was pleasantly surprised given the rate I paid. They will do laundry on the premise for 10 Euro - they will give you a bag to do this. I believe it is about 7 Euro at a laundromat but if you let them do it, you don't have to carry your clothes anywhere and they do both whites/colored. Great place to stay. We only stayed 1 nights and requested through hotels.com website while booking we wanted a view and two single beds. Request was accomidated before we event checked in. Hotel staff was very nice during check in. Pool was nice, didn't use it. Breakfast was good and included complementry. Wifi was also free! Room was spotless and […] modern with mini fridge and flat screen TV. 5th floor balcony was very nice to sit on and take in the views. Walls were a little thin as we could hear the baby crying next store, but not an issue. Location was great. It took us a while to find it, after getting off of the metro we just took a taxi to the hotel, but quickly realized we could have walked it with no problem if we would have known how to get to it. Right next to the Acropolis ruins and touristy places. I belive the rating is a little incorrect and would give the hotel a 3.5 to 4 star rating, maybe a 4.5 if the rooms were a little bigger. Great Hotel for the price. It has a great view of the Acropolis! and also has a nice clean and comfy room with pleasant staff, however the shower is very very very small and cramped, forcing you to hold your water dispenser in one hand and wash with the other hand. It is not often I write a bad review. Acropolis Hill was deeply average, and the customer service was poor to say the least. The location and cleanliness is good, but it ends there. None of the staff members were friendly. The wifi did not work on the 5th floor, and when I asked about this, the man on the desk wanted to argue about whether I had logged […] on to the right network (which I had), not fix the problem. Eventually he just said that the 5th and 6th floor (i.e. most guests) always have problems with the wifi. When I suggested buying a cheap router, he told me it was the managers job, not his. The other staff lied about why the swimming pool was not working (I know because I got three separate answers), and when we asked for a taxi to the airport, the hotel charged us 42 euros instead of the flat fee of 35. Overall, this place does not deserve anything like a 4 or even a 3 star rating. Read more

A good affordable hotel close to the Acropolis in a quiet area of town. Slept soundly with no noise! The hotel is simple and clean, with a pleasant buffet breakfast available. Off season stay was quite cheap, and the view of the city from the room and roof terrace was great.

A late 50's couple spent three nights here in Nov 2012. For sightseers, the hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the Acropolis and its wonderful new Museum. A bonus is that the city tour buses stop outside the Acropolis, so some other Athens must-see locations are easily reached. There are great cafes and restaurants near the museum, which is just as well […] because the hotel does not have a restaurant for evening meals! Be aware, though, that Athens is hilly, with few, if any, level streets, and many steep walkways. The back streets are narrow and the micro pavements are usually occupied by cars or motor bikes. As for the hotel, the buffet breakfasts were not of great variety - only two hot options - but would suit most people. Being November, we didn't try the outdoor pool. The room was very comfortable, but the huge settee at the foot of the two single (but side-by-side) beds was a little too large for the room. The shower room was excellent. On the fifth floor, there is a large balcony that provides views of the Acropolis and much of Athens's roof tops. The lack of restaurant, and the fact that the small lift only just took two people plus luggage, are the main reasons for the overall rating being 4. Oh, and the taxi driver didn't know the hotel - I had to fire up Google Maps on my phone to get us there! Read more

This is a "funky" little hotel located directly opposite a park, with views of the sea to one side and the Acropolis to the other (we did ask for an Acropolis view). It is an easy 5 minute walk to the Acropolis area. Although the room was small it was fine for our family of 3 and would obviously be much better for 2. The breakfast exceeded our expectations […] with plenty of choice. Beautiful and clean communal areas, which you don't always get in Athens! The swimming pool is lovely, although as it is an outside pool on the ground floor, you do feel as though you are swimming in a deep tank!! The Acropolis Hill hotel is a modern hotel on the hill which seems to have been renovated only recently as fixtures and fittings as well as decor are all modern, clean and stylish. Great location within easy walking distance of acropolis and acropolis museum. We walked to plaka area for meals on a number of occasions which was very pleasant, and also good cafes and restaurants within 5 mins walk. The triple room we had was comfortable but tiny, even by European standards. Larger people may have trouble fitting in the shower and […] elevator. The breakfast was ok but nothing special- fresh fruit was offered once in the 5 mornings we were there, though there was a selection of canned fruits, cereals, meats, cheeses, spreads and bread. The breakfast area tended to lack space close to end of service, so would be worth hotel considersing extending times. Despite spectacular views, in June the rooftop terrace was hampered by lack of shade, so attention to this would extend its use and ambience. Staff were pleasant but not enthusiastic. Read more

My husband and I arrived at the hotel at 20;00hrs to be given a room on the 6th floor with the most wonderful views of the Acropolis (a view i had requested in my intial booking) and Filopappou Hill. The room (601) was very contemporary in appearance with the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in in Athens. (We have visited the city many times). […] The views from the roof terrace of were amazingof the city of Athens with the Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill. An ideal place to end the day with an ouzo admiring the view. The bathroom had a good size walk in shower fully tiled with glass door and a mirrored door to the bathroom, we received clean towels everday. The room had plenty of storage and the fridge was a very welcomed addition. The aircon was much appreciated after a long day pounding the streets of Athens! Breakfast was served buffet style from 7.00 -10.00 with a large selection of breads jams, fruit, yoghurt, cheeses, hams, scrambled eggs , fruit juices, with teas and coffee. A great start to the day.The hotel is in a fairly residential area which does feel very safe.The walk into the Plaka takes about 20 mins, this is on a pedestrianised street so is ok and a goodway to walk off the wonderful Greek hospitaliy! As the hotel is up a slight incline I would recommend taking a taxi from Syntagma. The hotel may not be suiable for those with walking difficulties . A great hotel in a good location. We stayed here for 3 days over Easter and found it meet our needs very well. It was at the top of a hill and a short walk from major sites and restraunts. This is a small hotel, which has a personal feel. The reception staff speak good English. It is contemporary and well designed. the room was excellent value and the breakfast very good. The Hotel was very good, clean and stays in an area surrounded by bars and restaurants. You can very easily attain the city center. The Acropolis is nearby. But you should bear in mind that the Hotel stays over a hill and to arrive there you should climb a street with 60 steps.

Hotel was lovely and clean and the location was very close to plaka, which is a recommended place to stay in athens. The only down side is the hotel room is very small and the bathroom is small as well. But if you only need one or two night accom it would be ok. Et nyt og godt indrettet hotel, som fortjener sit navn pga. at den mageløse udsigt til Akropolis, selvom det faktisk ligger på en stille sidegade på Filippos-højen. Det ligger dog i magelig gåafstand til både selve Akropolis og til det nye Akropolis-museum - og væk fra larmen i Plaka.

The staff was amazing. They spoke English very well, was knowledgable and very helpful. On check-in I got a room that smell smoke and the receptionist immediately arranged for a new room. The room was very spacious (3 bed room for single occupancy in my case) so no problem if 3 people want to share. The decor was simple and modern. Beds were nice and […] A/C working well (normal noise level). The only drawback with the hotel was the amount of noise. I could hear everything being said (and done...) in the bathroom of the room above me. The speech in nearby rooms were muffled, but I could hear loud noises far too well (incluing snoring on the other side of the wall). I'm a light sleeper so I doubt I'll be staying there again, but for anyone else I would highly recommend it. Metro was a 5-10min walk away (depending on direction since it was uphill to the hotel). If I had arrived on a hot summer day with a lot of luggage I probably would have opted for a taxi, but on a chilly febuary afternoon it was an achievable walk with a suitcase. Acropolis and museum a very short walk away. Wifi was not very usable - ok in the morning/afternoon, but very slow throughout the evening when it was there at all. Premetto che l'hotel è nuovo, accogliente e carino come la camera.... ma sulla pulizia non ci siamo per niente! Lenzuola da panico, sporche e puzzolenti in più l'italiano non sanno cosa sia. Noi ci siamo trovati benissimo ma specifichiamo che usiamo l'hotel solo per dormire, ci piace camminare e non ci interessa passare tempo in albergo. Se volete un albergo dove poter cenare o passare un pomeriggio, potrebbe non essere la scelta ottimale, dato che non è possibile cenare. La nostra camera era al sesto piano, sul lato della strada, e non abbiamo avuto problemi con i rumori della strada. L'unica cosa davvero fastidiosa (per me) sono stati gli oscuranti della camera che fanno passare troppa luce. Ultima nota sulla colazione: più che sufficiente, ma non entusiasmante.
