      Liked the hotel, first room, the bathroom too small for comfort. They did change our room without a problem, for a room that was slightly bigger with a larger bathroom. We were very satisfied. I would consider this hotel again. It is so close to trams and the main station. Also department store across the street. Very quiet for a downtown hotel.

      We spent two nights and enjoyed them both. We arrived early and the hotel staff was more than happy to hold our luggage and place it in the room for us so we could immediately go out and explore Lucerne. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and it provides convenient access to town. The hotel location is across the lake from Lucerne, but that gives you some beautiful views of the city and the surrounding mountains. Well worth not being in the hustle and bustle of a busy town. The hotel is right on the edge of Lake Lucerne.

      The reception was warm and helpful: Our room was charming. We were sorry the restaurant was not available for dinner as the chef was on holiday, but the staff assisted us with lovely dinner reservations. Located in a small traditional village, close to Lucern and Zurich. Good for outdoor activities. Communication was no problem as people spoke multiple languages.
