Thick mattresses and down comforters - so comfortable after a long drive. Thank you!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a nice motel, clean rooms, even an elevator which is a benefit. And a balcony, if only the weather would have been warmer.Genuine Expedia guest review
Location was great, staff was very nice, room was outdated. Good stay, terrible price though. Way over priced for the state of roomGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Old and in need of upkeep"
Elevator wasn't working - my 89 year old mom almost fell on the stairs Noise level between rooms was loud Soiled carpetGenuine Expedia guest review
Hotel is downtown, within walking distance of food. Had a fridge, no in-room coffee, but a gourmet coffee place is next door. Bed was lumpy but better than really stiff beds I'm used to when traveling. Under-hotel parking, no 1st floor, but has an elevator that works, though sporadically. Room was clean and reasonably spacious with a balcony. Main issue: […] other tenants. Low-income type people with children, bikes on balconies, school bus pick-up for kids in morning. Somewhat noisy in hallways, with "characters" lurking about in parking lot. Can't verify for a fact that hotel is housing homeless people for city of Missoula, but sure looked it to me. No problems to report that way, but normally we stay away from places that do this. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
For the price it was adequate. Nothing spectacular. Exterior was outdated and rundown but the room was better quality. Bed and shower was good. Those are the most important things I need on the road.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Have stayed at this hotel in past approx. two dozen times. It seems to have become 'party central' recently, with loud guests in and out of rooms and hanging out in parking lot. Rooms are looking in need of new paint, new carpeting. Coffeemaker in room did not work properly so had to go to reception for fresh coffee. Breakfast offered in past is no […] longer available. On plus side, staff was very good to deal with. Price is reasonable, and a very good location on river and close to downtown. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Surprised at the decency of the room."
The parking situation is weird but once in the room the carpet was new , it had the white double sheets bedding and decent linens, the bathroom was updated and clean, and everything was in good repair. I was comfortable letting my baby play on the floor. No continental breakfast but for the price I didn't expect it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just right accomodations for a weekend."
I got the last available hotel room in Missoula it seemed and the hotel staff here were very friendly and accomodating. We just stayed one night and it was a nice clean older hotel/motel.Genuine Expedia guest review

It seemed like a sketchy place to stay, the location was OK, but it was a motel that has seen better days. While there was some exterior painting going on, the card key didn't work because you had to move the door handle just so to make it work; the clerk said all the door locks were being changed soon. The room was kind of dark and if you looked closely, you can tell the carpet needed cleaning; the room was spacious and the bath was OK, kind of dated, but everything worked, but could have used more cleaning. You can clean old things and the will still look old, but they will be clean. Surprisingly it was very quiet that night, even if the elevator was just feet away. The continental breakfast was pretty skimpy, muffins cut in half and coffee and juice, which no place to sit in that tiny lobby.

OMG the worst I've been bought the room and didnt stayed way to nasty. Would not let my dog even stay here. Avoid this place and if have to sleep in car. Priceline screwed me on this. Love Missoula! Great town.

Hit this place to stay close to local breweries. Room still remember times when it had not bear "no smoking" sign, and one of them was missing a fridge, but otherwise it was... just poor, not horrible. Rooms were reasonably clean, wi-fi was strong, a/c was quiet, bed was ok... shower worked well, but those guys really saving on travellers - no shampoo at all and towels were tiny. I didn't mind for we had our own supplies, but if you didn't do camping for a week before entering this place, you would be disappointed.

We. Should have known better by the cheap price quoted, but you never know there are some bargains out there. It's difficult to find a plus, maybe the jolly male receptionist. The bath was filthy, stained and had hairs in. The bedding also had hair left in from the previous occupants, so obviously not clean. All the decoration was in a very poor state of repair, and there appeared to be some strange characters hanging around with access to the stairs open to anyone. Not to be recommended
"AVOID this hotel!"

We stayed here only because we had driven through the night as there weren't any other hotels to be found from Billings, MT to Spokane, WA on a Saturday night. We really needed a place to get at least a few hours of rest before getting back on the road. The actual place doesn't match the online photos provided by the property. It was very run-down and filthy. In addition, the person working the night shift left the lobby unattended and fell asleep in her car, so we weren't even able to check in when we arrived! I'm uploading some of the photos I took showing the condition of this motel. I didn't take a photo of the entry to the rooms, but it is outside and not attached to the lobby and is a sliding glass door that should open upon swiping the room key. It didn't open for us, nor for another person trying to enter, and then we discovered the door was just broken and you just needed to push hard to slide the door open without any security measures. In other words - NO SECURITY to enter the hallways. Getting in the elevators and getting out on the 3rd floor, the floors are filthy - mud and footprints clearly visible. We thought perhaps by the time we checked out, they would have been mopped, but no - the maid service was done on the floor and we watched them get back in the elevator and they never touched the hallway or elevator floors. The photos you see of the 3rd floor flooring was taken a few minutes after the maids left!! Trim boards and wall paper was off in the hallways and the walls were filthy and in some places had holes/damage. In the room we stayed in, our sheets had hair strands in them, wallpaper peeling off, stains all over the carpets, cracker pieces on the floor, stained walls, fingerprints on the walls and bathroom door, and chunks missing from the walls. About the staff: We found this room at about 4 a.m. from about an hour and a half drive away. We were told this room would be available and said we would be there about 5:30 a.m. When we arrived, the lobby was open but abandoned. I called the number and the lobby phone rang and rang. I called toward the back, but nobody responded. I went back out to the car and my husband pointed out a car with an open driver side door and a leg hanging out. It was near the back of the parking lot by the alley that ran behind the building. We drove around the back, my husband honked the horn and the person didn't move. We were concerned and thought perhaps someone (maybe the staff member) had been mugged or hurt in some way, or even suffered a heart attack or who knows what. So we called the police, who arrived on the scene and told us the employee had fallen asleep in their car and would be back in the office. After 20 minutes, the person was still sleeping in the car, not in the office. Finally, at almost 6:30, we were able to reach the employee by phone (we were driving around town now just trying to stay awake and decide what to do) and she apologized for falling asleep. She let us check in and took some money off the rate for the inconvenience. She allowed us to count this as an early check-in for that day so that we could stay that night as well. After seeing the condition of the room, we just got a few hours of sleep and checked out. It's not a place I even wanted to stay that long, but needed sleep to keep driving. When we checked out, I was surprised the person at the desk who replaced the previous one didn't ask about our stay or even why we were checking out a day early. NEVER again, and I will never try America's Best Value anywhere else either based on this experience. There is nothing "BEST" or "VALUE" about this place.

I don't like writing BAD reviews, but this one I don't know where to start. My brother, my wife and I spent three weeks traveling 8 states by motorcycle. This was the worst place we stayed. First of all they don't seem to know what rooms have been cleaned. The first room that they gave us had been untouched from the previous guests. The lobby was dirty, the hallways were poorly lit, the carpet was stained, dirty and smelled. They do have coin operated laundry available but the machines were so grungy my wife wouldn't use them. There seems to be a overabundance of nefarious sort of people just sort of loitering. The manager was pleasant and accommodated our requests for a room where we could see our bikes and gave us old destroyed towels for cleaning our bikes My understanding from the manager was this place recently purchased by a new owner and they are in the process of remodeling. to me this doesn't excuse the lack of daily cleaning and attention that this place requires. I wish the best of luck to the new owner.

Very nice hotel. We where on motorcycles and had gotten caught in a hell of a rain storm. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The room was clean and nice. Would stay here again, if in the Missoula way.

Oh my how to start, this is the first time I have written a bad review. From the start I knew the actual place didn't match any of the property photos . I second all the other reviews about being the worst motel I have ever encountered, dirty, run down, Air conditioning not working in August, 90 plus temperatures, the sliding door did not lock or the security pole ,the lobby door all you had to do was push on it for it to open, Security I think not plus the worst part of our adventure was they moved our suitcases and loose belongings which they "Assume the Housekeeping" dumped into giant plastic bags with an leaking bottle of water into the managers office due to a reservation mix up. Some one had quite a bit of time do rummage through our stuff; Jewelry, makeup and 3 bottles of prescription medicine MISSING!! STOLEN!! The assistant manager was very concerned and over whelmed with the situation, she did refund our entire bill so at least I didn't pay for the abuse except with my stolen belongings. The day we where traveling home the assistant manager called me to let us know a worker had discovered my sisters jewelry wrapped up in a towel under one of the hall ice machines. So some good news, I hope no one has this experience ever and that who ever owns this Motel cleans house and makes this place safe and clean because it is a good location to downtown Missoula. Some of you might be wondering why would anyone in there right mind stay at this motel? well we where visiting my daughter and son-in-law and at the same time Sir Paul McCartney was performing plus two other events not another room available from Butte to Idaho, would of been better to sleep in my car!!

We checked in at 12 am after a long day of driving....their was a shopping cart in the elevator ...their are HUGE nasty stains in the hall way...their is no paint on the walls...the wall paper has been peeled off...their is graffiti in the elevator.....the room smells weird...their is spackle every where...the bed had been slept in.. Their are cigarette holes in the "bedspread" ...their are stains on the sheets...no pillow cases on the pillows...trash on the floor...We LEFT. Price line should be ashamed to do this to people. Seriously. I think the chick in the hall way was a prostitute.

Our worst hotel experience ever. Exiting the elevator on the second floor we were met with bare concrete floor, scraps and chips of linoleum tile scattered everywhere, a large floor exhaust fan making incredible noise. Okay, the place is under renovation, I understand. But no mention was made of this on check-in. The fan was only about thirty feet from our room, finally had to unplug it when we tried to sleep. Above our bed was a ventilating shaft which blew constantly and not even cool air, just tepid. The shower stall floor was old and cracked with black streaks, dust and dirt in the corners of the room, but the worst was at 6:45 a.m. when we were awakened by scraping and hammering in the hallway outside our door. Yes, they had remodeling workers starting at SIX O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING!!! When I confronted the worker he shrugged and said that's when they told him to start. When I told the day manager about it he cringed and said this was the owner's directive to "get the work done." What kind of idiot wakes his paying customers at 6 a.m. with renovation noise in the hallway outside their doors??? Needless to say we will never return.
