Travelodge San Antonio-Alamo / Riverwalk / Conv. Ctr - San Antonio

The only good thing I can say about our stay I this hotel was that it was really close to the places we wanted to visit. I guess you get what you pay for. Advice to anyone who wants to stay here; take your own sheets

Okay the place is a little worn out.the bath tub painted over with what look like regular spray paint but i was clean .one of our pillows was stained we left that one on the floor the first night they changed it for a clean one and the carpet was stained to. But the location good and felt safe has OK parking in the lot more parking on the street .staff […] was nice and seem to be happy and the price was good. we had our room for three days but only used the room to sleep and shower. so the lack of luxury did not bother us we spent our time site seeing shopping and hanging out in the clubs and bars nothing immediately outside the hotel area but all within a comfortable walking range not a bad spot if you want to save money . THE HOTEL WAS OK BUT REQUESTED BOTTOM FLOOR BECAUSE I AM 86 YEARS OLD AND WAS PUT ON THIRD FLOOR AND ELEVATOR BROKE DOWN 2ND DAY AND WASN;T FIXED FOR THREE DAYS.

Was not worth the price I paid. Misleading photos on the Internet. Hotel was not walking distance to Riverwalk. The neighborhood was not safe to walk. To many homeless on street and felt unsafe at night. Pool area was messy. Never again. Didn't even stay there the last 2 nights I booked.

I was extremely disappointed that the room did not look ANYTHING like the online pictures. The bathroom was dirty, the parking lot was WAY too small, and it's never a good sign when there are lots of people just hanging around with their doors open....

Just a spot to sleep. Within walking distance of all attractions. Outside seemed sketchy. Definitely needs an update. Staff was very friendly. Great if your just looking for a place to sleep.

The room was nice, the staff were very kind and helpful and the beds were comfortable. The only draw backs were that the pool needed to be cleaned (leaves) and the air conditioner didn't work very well. The hotel was in walking distance from everything that I wanted to visit in downtown San Antonio, including the Alamo, the riverwalk, the convention […] center and the Tower of the Americas. I didn't have a bad stay, but I had a stuck door. Unless you pulled the door shut, it wouldn't close. That happened. I walked back from my convention to see that te door to my room was ajar. Thankfully nothing was taken, but I ad an issue with that.

We booked through the internet and the hotel did not look anything like its picture. When we got to the hotel there were a lot of homeless people near the area walking and sleeping. However, the hotel was near the Alamo and river walk like promised.

when i first got there to check in the man behind the counter told me that i was not on the list to check in. when i called a week a head of time after booking this hotel for over two months in advance. the lady i spoke to over the phone assured me that i was good to go. but once i arrived the man told me that i was not on the list and that there was […] no more rooms adavable. that i should have called the day before i arrived. i was up set after driving hours and getting in at 3:30 am in the morning he told me that i would have to wait to the next day. to check in when the rooms would be available. so i left him my phone number to call me asap. i received a call about an hour later after sleeping in my car and he told me that there was this one room but the lights by the bed doesn't work. i told him i didn't care i just needed a place to sleep. after i finally got settled in my room i had to go back and pay an additional fee for checking in early. i didn't even care at this point, i was tired and needed sleep. but i will tell you one thing i will never go back there again. I needed a hotel that I could stay in within walking distance of the convention center, that didn't break the bank. This was it. It was not that far of a walk, and had free parking and a warm breakfast. You can't beat that at a convention hotel. However, it is not the same quality as other hotels I've stayed in for the same purpose. It's not luxurious. […] The staff was kind and welcoming. There was the letter "K" written in sharpe on the sheet, but the bed was comfortable, and clean. I can't say that much about the bathroom. It was run down and in need of basic repair.(peeling surface in the sink, and deep mold in the shower caulk) Unfortunately, I was there on a morning when a marathon ran through town, and there were screaming fans that woke me WAY before my alarm went off. Booked this hotel while on the road and headed to SA. Though this hotel was not the most beautiful hotel ever it served its purpose which was a place to sleep and walking distance from the Alamo and the River walk. If I ever go back to SA I will stay here again. Only complaint were the noisy neighbors...some guests just don't know how the act!

The location was within a short walk to the Alamo and riverwalk. But with it being an older motel you could see light from around the doors. The bathroom did not have an exaust fan which would have kept the mold from growing on the walls & floors. But okay if looking for cheap in downtown.

Close to the Alamo and points downtown. Has a bus stop on the corner and walking is easy. This is an acceptable motel for those on a budget, however, it is showing some signs of wear. It may not be acceptable for discriminating tastes.

For the prices they charge, the hotel is quite shabby. Night chain/lock was just hanging off. Room had obviously been a smoking room for many years - just reeked! Not a place I would ever stay at again.

Hotel was so dirty I didn't take my shoes off the entire stay! Don't waste your money, wifi doesn't work, breakfast area looks like homeless kitchen rejection.
