    The staff very not very helpful. They acted like we were bothering them by asking questions about the renovation. The person who checked us in, Kayla, said that we should have not booked with Hotels.com online. Like the unclean lobby was our fault! I understand why the hotel needed remodeling. The door had a 2" gap under it and we could hear everyone […] walking down the hall and talking. The cleanliness was not up to Hampton standards. After talking to Natholi in the morning, she acted like she didn't care about us at all either. Unfortunately, the staff made for a bad stay. It was a very disappointing stay after we had just spent a great week at a Hampton Inn in Illinois. The staff in Illinois were very polite, accomodating and always friendly. They are what I expected in a Hampton stay. The differences in staff was amazing. I will definitely not stay at this Hampton again. Read more

    Hotel was in mid renovation so it was somewhat inconvenient. Otherwise great locations and great service from employees. Our room had been renovated and was nice. Had we known the reno was going on, we would have stayed someplace else. The parking was limited and there were workers everyplace.

    When arrived I noticed the hotel was being renovated inside and out. Had I known this, I would have selected another hotel. My preference is not to stay at hotels during construction. That was the least of my worries. Overall the room was clean, except one of the four pillow cases was clearly dirty. The toilet was not cleaned properly so I automatically […] took two points off for the unclean pillow case and the toilet. I booked for two nights. My do not disturb sign was hung until I was ready to leave my room, but I removed it at 11:00 a.m. when leaving for the day. I also alerted the front desk to have housekeeping clean my room and change my towels. All of the hotels I have ever stayed in usually come back around to check to see if the do not disturb sign is down, and then proceed to clean the room and bring fresh towels. But this didn't happen. My room was not cleaned and there were no fresh towels when I returned. I had to complain to the front desk. They did happily send housekeeping and the supervisor happily cleaned my room and brought me fresh towels, earning back at least 1 point I had deducted. But she didn't leave any shower soap, so I took away a point again. However what’s great about this hotel is that the bed was the MOST Comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. The bed rated a 5!! They do not have a refrigerator or microwave in the room, which is 'why' coupled with everything else I can only give an overall rating of a 4. Read more

    The hotel is a typical Hampton Inn and is close to the interstate. There were several high school track teams in the building this particular week, but everyone was well behaved and you couldn't hear them at all. Breakfast was busy, but adequate. Overall it is what I expected from this hotel chain.
